2 Corinthians 10
1 Now I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, I, who present indeed am lowly among you, but am bold toward you when absent;
ยุษฺมตฺปฺรตฺยกฺเษ นมฺร: กินฺตุ ปโรกฺเษ ปฺรคลฺภ: เปาโล'หํ ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย กฺษานฺตฺยา วินีตฺยา จ ยุษฺมานฺ ปฺรารฺถเยฯ
2 but I entreat you, that I may not when I am present be bold with that confidence wherewith I think of being bold towards some, who think of us as walking according to the flesh.
มม ปฺรารฺถนียมิทํ วยํ ไย: ศารีริกาจาริโณ มนฺยามเห ตานฺ ปฺรติ ยำ ปฺรคลฺภตำ ปฺรกาศยิตุํ นิศฺจิโนมิ สา ปฺรคลฺภตา สมาคเตน มยาจริตวฺยา น ภวตุฯ
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh,
ยต: ศรีเร จรนฺโต'ปิ วยํ ศารีริกํ ยุทฺธํ น กุรฺมฺม: ฯ
4 (for the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds, )
อสฺมากํ ยุทฺธาสฺตฺราณิ จ น ศารีริกานิ กินฺตฺวีศฺวเรณ ทุรฺคภญฺชนาย ปฺรพลานิ ภวนฺติ,
5 casting down reasonings, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing every purpose into captivity to the obedience of Christ,
ไตศฺจ วยํ วิตรฺกานฺ อีศฺวรียตตฺตฺวชฺญานสฺย ปฺรติพนฺธิกำ สรฺวฺวำ จิตฺตสมุนฺนติญฺจ นิปาตยาม: สรฺวฺวสงฺกลฺปญฺจ พนฺทินํ กฺฤตฺวา ขฺรีษฺฏสฺยาชฺญาคฺราหิณํ กุรฺมฺม: ,
6 and being in readiness to punish every disobedience, when the measure of your obedience shall be full.
ยุษฺมากมฺ อาชฺญาคฺราหิเตฺว สิทฺเธ สติ สรฺวฺวสฺยาชฺญาลงฺฆนสฺย ปฺรตีการํ กรฺตฺตุมฺ อุทฺยตา อาสฺมเห จฯ
7 Ye look at the outward appearance. If any one trusteth to himself that he belongeth to Christ, let him of himself consider this again, that as he belongeth to Christ, so also do we.
ยทฺ ทฺฤษฺฏิโคจรํ ตทฺ ยุษฺมาภิ รฺทฺฤศฺยตำฯ อหํ ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย โลก อิติ สฺวมนสิ เยน วิชฺญายเต ส ยถา ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย ภวติ วยมฺ อปิ ตถา ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย ภวาม อิติ ปุนรฺวิวิจฺย เตน พุธฺยตำฯ
8 For even if I should boast still more highly of our authority, which the Lord gave us for building you up, and not pulling you down, I should not be put to shame;
ยุษฺมากํ นิปาตาย ตนฺนหิ กินฺตุ นิษฺฐาไย ปฺรภุนา ทตฺตํ ยทสฺมากํ สามรฺถฺยํ เตน ยทฺยปิ กิญฺจิทฺ อธิกํ ศฺลาเฆ ตถาปิ ตสฺมานฺน ตฺรปิเษฺยฯ
9 that I may not seem as if I would terrify you by my letters.
อหํ ปไตฺร รฺยุษฺมานฺ ตฺราสยามิ ยุษฺมาภิเรตนฺน มนฺยตำฯ
10 For his letters, saith one, are weighty and strong; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible.
ตสฺย ปตฺราณิ คุรุตราณิ ปฺรพลานิ จ ภวนฺติ กินฺตุ ตสฺย ศารีรสากฺษาตฺกาโร ทุรฺพฺพล อาลาปศฺจ ตุจฺฉนีย อิติ ไกศฺจิทฺ อุจฺยเตฯ
11 Let such a one count upon this, that such as we are in word by letters when absent, such will we be also in deed when present.
กินฺตุ ปโรกฺเษ ปไตฺร รฺภาษมาณา วยํ ยาทฺฤศา: ปฺรกาศามเห ปฺรตฺยกฺเษ กรฺมฺม กุรฺวฺวนฺโต'ปิ ตาทฺฤศา เอว ปฺรกาศิษฺยามเห ตตฺ ตาทฺฤเศน วาจาเลน ชฺญายตำฯ
12 For we do not venture to reckon ourselves among, or compare ourselves with, some of those who commend themselves; but they, measuring themselves among themselves, and comparing themselves with themselves, are not wise.
สฺวปฺรศํสกานำ เกษาญฺจินฺมเธฺย สฺวานฺ คณยิตุํ ไต: สฺวานฺ อุปมาตุํ วา วยํ ปฺรคลฺภา น ภวาม: , ยตเสฺต สฺวปริมาเณน สฺวานฺ ปริมิมเต ไสฺวศฺจ สฺวานฺ อุปมิภเต ตสฺมาตฺ นิรฺพฺโพธา ภวนฺติ จฯ
13 But we will not boast of things that are without our measure, but according to the measure of the line which God allotted us, —a measure to reach even to you.
วยมฺ อปริมิเตน น ศฺลาฆิษฺยามเห กินฺตฺวีศฺวเรณ สฺวรชฺชฺวา ยุษฺมทฺเทศคามิ ยตฺ ปริมาณมฺ อสฺมทรฺถํ นิรูปิตํ เตไนว ศฺลาฆิษฺยามเหฯ
14 For we do not stretch ourselves beyond our measure, as though we reached not to you; (for as far as even to you did we come, in the gospel of Christ; )
ยุษฺมากํ เทโศ'สฺมาภิรคนฺตวฺยสฺตสฺมาทฺ วยํ สฺวสีมามฺ อุลฺลงฺฆามเห ตนฺนหิ ยต: ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย สุสํวาเทนาปเรษำ ปฺราคฺ วยเมว ยุษฺมานฺ ปฺราปฺตวนฺต: ฯ
15 not boasting of things that are without measure, in other men's labors, but having hope, when your faith is increased, that our line will through you be still further extended,
วยํ สฺวสีมามฺ อุลฺลงฺฆฺย ปรกฺเษเตฺรณ ศฺลาฆามเห ตนฺนหิ, กิญฺจ ยุษฺมากํ วิศฺวาเส วฺฤทฺธึ คเต ยุษฺมทฺเทเศ'สฺมากํ สีมา ยุษฺมาภิรฺทีรฺฆํ วิสฺตารยิษฺยเต,
16 so that we may preach the gospel in the regions beyond you; not boasting, in another's line, of things made ready to our hand.
เตน วยํ ยุษฺมากํ ปศฺจิมทิกฺเสฺถษุ สฺถาเนษุ สุสํวาทํ โฆษยิษฺยาม: , อิตฺถํ ปรสีมายำ ปเรณ ยตฺ ปริษฺกฺฤตํ เตน น ศฺลาฆิษฺยามเหฯ
17 But “he that boasteth, let him boast in the Lord.”
ย: กศฺจิตฺ ศฺลาฆมาน: สฺยาตฺ ศฺลาฆตำ ปฺรภุนา ส หิฯ
18 For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but he whom the Lord commendeth.
เสฺวน ย: ปฺรศํสฺยเต ส ปรีกฺษิโต นหิ กินฺตุ ปฺรภุนา ย: ปฺรศํสฺยเต ส เอว ปรีกฺษิต: ฯ
