< 1 Timothy 4 >

1 Now the Spirit saith expressly, that in the latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and teachings of demons,
Mushimu Uswepa ulambilishingeti bantu nibakataye lushomo mu masuba akupwililisha, nekutatika kunyumfwila mishimu yabwepeshi nekukonkela biyisho bya mishimu yaipa.
2 through the hypocrisy of speakers of lies, who bear a brand on their own conscience,
Biyisho bilico, bantu bandemishibili ebakute miyeyo yafwa, yatentwa ne nshimbi yalungula.
3 forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from food which God created to be received with thanksgiving, for those who believe and know the truth.
Aba bantu endibo beshikukanisha kweba ne kulya byakula, kakuli Lesa walalenga byakulya kwambeti bashoma kayi bacinshi cancinencine babilye mwakulumba Lesa.
4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving;
Ciliconse ncalalenga Lesa caina nkacela kusesemya bantu, na mucikutambula mwakulumba,
5 for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
pakwinga cikute kuswepeshewa ne maswi a Lesa ne mipailo.
6 If thou lay these things before the brethren, thou wilt be a good minister of Christ Jesus, nourished in the words of the faith, and of the good teaching, with which thou art well acquainted.
Na ubeyishenga bintu ibi bantu nabambi, nukabe musebenshi waina wa Klistu Yesu, walalesha kukula mushimba mu biyisho bya lushomo lwetu ne lunyumfwila ndokute kubiyisho bya ca ncinencine mbyolakonkelenga.
7 But avoid the profane and old wives' fables; and exercise thyself unto godliness.
Nikukabeco kotantamuka ku makani a tulabi twabuluya, mbuli tulabi ntobasuna kwamba batukashi bamacembele. Obe pitilisha kusha mano ku buyumi bwaina bwa kupaila Lesa.
8 For bodily exercise is profitable for little; but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
Ee kwishibisha mubili kusebensa ncito nako kwaina pang'ana, nomba kwishibisha mubili kusebensa ncito sha ku mushimu kwapitapo kwina. Pakwinga kukute lulayo mu buyumi bwa cino cindi, kayi mu cindi ca kuntangu, buyumi butapu.
9 True is the saying, and worthy of all acceptance.
Awa ni makani a cancine ncine elela kutambulwa ca makasa abili, kayi ne kwashomwa.
10 For to this end we both labor and suffer reproach, because we have placed our hope in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, especially of believers.
Encetulasebenselenga cangofu, pakwinga kupembelela kwetu kuli muli Lesa muyumi, Mupulushi wa bantu bonse makamaka abo bashoma.
11 These things command and teach.
Bayishe bintu ibi, kayi ubambile bensenga ncelabambilinga.
12 Let no one despise thy youth, but become an example to the believers, in word, in behavior, in love, in faith, in purity.
Kakutaba muntu naba umo eti akunyanshe cebo cakuba kanike, koba cilesho kulyabo bashoma mung'ambilo, ne mucendo nemulusuno ne mulushomo kayi ne mukubula kampenda.
13 Till I come, give attention to reading, to exhortation, to teaching.
Mpaka nkese, kosha mano kukubelenga Mabala a Lesa kwambeti wasansululenga ne kwiyisha cena.
14 Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.
Pitilisha kusebensesha cipo ca Mushimu Uswepa cili muli njobe calapewa kuli njobe mpobalakambauka bashinshimi makani a Lesa, abo batangunishi ba mubungano balabika makasa abo pali njobe.
15 Meditate on these things, give thyself wholly to them; that thy progress may be manifest to all.
Koyeyapo pa bintu ibi mwakushako mano, kwambeti kuya pantangu kwakobe kubonekele kuli bonse.
16 Give heed to thyself, and to thy teaching; continue in them; for in doing this thou wilt save both thyself and them that hear thee.
Shako mano ku bintu mbyolenshinga ne kubintu mbyoleyishinga. Pitilisha kwinsa bintu ibi, pakwinga wenseco, obe pamo ne bakunyumfwilinga nimukapuluke.
