1 Thessalonians 5
1 But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, there is no need of writing to you;

2 for ye yourselves know full well, that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
Ulwakuva jumue mukagula muvunono kyongo kuti ikighono kya Mutwa kikwisa hene mulyasi panoikwisa pakilo.
3 When they are saying, Peace and safety; then doth sudden destruction come upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
Pala panoviti lutengano nu vuloleli pepano uvunangifu vwavukuvisila kukenyemukila. vuhene vuvafi vunovukumwisila umwakimama unya vukunue. navalapunga kusila jojoni.
4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day should overtake you as a thief;
Neke umue, vanylukolo namulikung'isi nambe ikighono kila kilingise hene mulyasi.
5 for ye all are sons of light, and sons of the day; we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
ulwakuva umue mweni mulivana va lumuli na vana va mwisi. usue natulivana vapakilo au vang'isi.
6 Let us not sleep, then, as others, but let us watch and be sober.

7 For they that sleep, sleep in the night; and they that are drunken, are drunken in the night;

8 but let us, as we are of the day, be sober, putting on the breast-plate of faith and love, and as a helmet, the hope of salvation;

9 for God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,

10 who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should together live with him.
umwene ghwejuno alyatufwilile neke kuti, tungave maso au tughonelile, tulikukala palikimo nu mwene.
11 Wherefore, encourage one another, and edify one another, as indeed ye are doing.
looli munyamasaniaghe na kukangasania jumue, ndavule tayale muvomba.
12 And we beseech you, brethren, to know those who labor among you, and preside over you in the Lord, and admonish you,
vanyalukolo, tukuvasuma muvakagule vala vanovivomba n'kate jinu navala vano valinkyanya jinu vikuvalongosia mwa Mutwa na vala vano vikuvaghigha.
13 and to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. Be at peace among yourselves.
tukuvasuma kange muvakagule na kukupvapela uvwoghofua mulughano lwa mbombo javo. muve nulutengano n'kate jinu nujue.
14 Moreover we exhort you, brethren, admonish the unruly, comfort the feeble-minded, support the weak, be forbearing to all.
tukuvasuma vanyalukolo. muvavungaghe vanonaviluta muvutavike, muvakangasiaghe inmbula vanovasukunile, muvatangaghe vano vavotevote kange muve nulugudo ku voni.
15 See that none render evil for evil to any one; but ever follow that which is good, both toward one another and toward all.
Mulolaghe napweangavisaghe umunhu ghwoghwoni junoihomba uvuvivi kuvuvivi kwa munhu ghwoghwoni, muvombaghe ghano manono kulyumue mweni nakuvanhu voni.
16 Be always joyful.
Muhovokaghe ifighono fyoni.
17 Pray without ceasing;
Musumaghe kisila kudugha.
18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus in regard to you.
Mumuhongesiaghe uNguluve ku lyolyoni, lwakuva uluo lwelughano lwa Nguluve kulyumue mwa Yesu Kilisite/
19 Quench not the Spirit;
Namungan'simiaghe umhepo.
20 despise not prophesyings,
Namungavubedaghe uvuvili.
21 but prove all things; hold fast that which is good;
ughesiaghe imbombo soni, mukologhe lino linofu.
22 abstain from every form of evil.
museghukaghe ghoni ghanoghivonekela muvuhosi.
23 And may the God of peace himself sanctify you wholly; and may your spirit, and soul, and body, be preserved whole, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
UNguluve ghwa lutengano avanyilisiaghe muvwimike. umhepo, uluvelo num'bili mulwakwisa kwa mwene uMutwa ghwitu uYesu kilisite.
24 Faithful is he who calleth you, who also will do it.
umwene junoavakemelile mugholofu, umwene wenyakuvomba.
25 Brethren, pray for us.
vanyalukolo mutusumilaghe kange.
26 Salute all the brethren with a holy kiss.
muvahungilaghe avanyalukolo voni mulunonelo ulwimike.
27 I adjure you by the Lord, that this letter be read to all the holy brethren.
nikuvasuma mwa Mutwa kuti ikalata iji jimbwaghe kuvanyalukolo voni.
28 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
ulusungu lwa Mutwa ghwitu u yesu Kilisite luvisaghe palikimo numue.
