< 1 Thessalonians 3 >

1 Wherefore, when we could no longer forbear, we chose to be left at Athens alone,
Mu uluo panonatukale natuwesia kufumilia kyongo, kutasaghile kuva kanono kujigha ku athene kula twevene.
2 and sent Timothy, our brother and a fellow-laborer with God in the gospel of Christ, to establish you, and to encourage you in your faith,
Tulyan'sughile u timotheo, unyalukolo ghwitu nu n'sughwa ghwa Nguluve mulivangili lya Kilisite, kukuvakangasia na kuvavavighilila kulutia ulwitiko lwinu.
3 so that no one should be shaken by these afflictions; for yourselves know that to this we are appointed;
Tulyavombile agha neke kuti nangavisaghe ghoghoni ughwa kutetema nulupumuko ulu, lwakuva jumue mkagula kuti tusalulivue mu ili.
4 for even when we were with you, we told you before that we are to suffer affliction, just as it came to pass, and ye know.
Lwa lweli, un'siki ghunotulyale palikomo numue, tulyalongwile kukuvelesia kuva tulyale pipi kupata ulupumuko, naghuo ghakahumile ndavule mkagula.
5 For this cause, when I too could no longer forbear, I sent in order to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter might have tempted you, and our labor should prove in vain.
Kunangile ja iji panonikale naniwesia kufumilila kange, nilyan'sung'ile neke nipate kukagula mulwitiko lwinu. labda umuhesi alyale avaghesisie, ni mbombo jinu jikiva vuvule.
6 But when Timothy just now came to us from you, and brought us good tidings of your faith and love, and that ye have good remembrance of us always, desiring greatly to see us, as we also to see you;
Neke lelo utumotheo alisile kuyusue kuhumila kulymue akatuletela imhola inofu ja lwitiko nulughano lwinu. alyatuvulile ja kuti mulinikumbukumbu jitu nakuti munoghelua kukutuvona ndavule pano najusue tunoghelua kukuvavona umue.
7 for this cause, brethren, we were comforted over you in all our distress and affliction by your faith;
Mu uluo, vanyalukolo tukahovwike kyongo numue vwimila mu lwitiko lwinu, taabu ni mumuko situ soni.
8 for now we live, if ye stand fast in the Lord.
Lino tukukala tukukala, ndeve mukwima kikangafu mwa Mutwa.
9 For what thanks can we render to God for you, for all the joy wherewith we rejoice for your sakes before our God;
Neke lwe luhongesio luki tum'pele u Nguluve kwaajili jinu, mulukelo lwoni tulinalwo pamaso gha Nguluve kulyumue?
10 night and day praying exceedingly that we may see your face, and may supply that which is lacking in your faith?
Tusuma kyongo pakilo napamwisi neke tuwesie kukusagha isula sinu na kukuvongelesia kinokipunguka mu lwitiko lwinu.
11 Now God himself, our Father, and our Lord Jesus direct our way to you;
Unguluve ghwitu nu Naata jujuo, nu Mutwa ghwitu u Yesu atulongosie isila jitu tufike kulyumue,
12 and the Lord make you to increase and abound in love toward one another and toward all, even as we do in love toward you;
nu Mutwa avavombe mwongelele na kukila mu lughano, mungaghanane nakuvaghana avanhu voni, ndavule finotukuvavombela umue.
13 in order that he may establish your hearts unblamable in holiness before God, our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his holy ones.
Naavombe ndiki neke kukangasia amojo ghinu ghave kisila lupiko muvwimike pamaso gha Nguluve ghwitu nu Naata ghwitu mulwisilo/pavugomokele vwa Mutwa Yesu palikimo na vimike vake vooni.
