1 Thessalonians 3

1 Wherefore, when we could no longer forbear, we chose to be left at Athens alone,

อโต'หํ ยทา สนฺเทหํ ปุน: โสฒุํ นาศกฺนุวํ ตทานีมฺ อาถีนีนคร เอกากี สฺถาตุํ นิศฺจิตฺย

2 and sent Timothy, our brother and a fellow-laborer with God in the gospel of Christ, to establish you, and to encourage you in your faith,

สฺวภฺราตรํ ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย สุสํวาเท สหการิณญฺเจศฺวรสฺย ปริจารกํ ตีมถิยํ ยุษฺมตฺสมีปมฺ อเปฺรษยํฯ

3 so that no one should be shaken by these afflictions; for yourselves know that to this we are appointed;

วรฺตฺตมาไน: เกฺลไศ: กสฺยาปิ จาญฺจลฺยํ ยถา น ชายเต ตถา เต ตฺวยา สฺถิรีกฺริยนฺตำ สฺวกียธรฺมฺมมธิ สมาศฺวาสฺยนฺตาญฺเจติ ตมฺ อาทิศํฯ

4 for even when we were with you, we told you before that we are to suffer affliction, just as it came to pass, and ye know.

วยเมตาทฺฤเศ เกฺลเศ นิยุกฺตา อาสฺมห อิติ ยูยํ สฺวยํ ชานีถ, ยโต'สฺมากํ ทุรฺคติ รฺภวิษฺยตีติ วยํ ยุษฺมากํ สมีเป สฺถิติกาเล'ปิ ยุษฺมานฺ อโพธยาม, ตาทฺฤศเมว จาภวตฺ ตทปิ ชานีถฯ

5 For this cause, when I too could no longer forbear, I sent in order to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter might have tempted you, and our labor should prove in vain.

ตสฺมาตฺ ปรีกฺษเกณ ยุษฺมาสุ ปรีกฺษิเตษฺวสฺมากํ ปริศฺรโม วิผโล ภวิษฺยตีติ ภยํ โสฒุํ ยทาหํ นาศกฺนุวํ ตทา ยุษฺมากํ วิศฺวาสสฺย ตตฺตฺวาวธารณาย ตมฺ อเปฺรษยํฯ

6 But when Timothy just now came to us from you, and brought us good tidings of your faith and love, and that ye have good remembrance of us always, desiring greatly to see us, as we also to see you;

กินฺตฺวธุนา ตีมถิโย ยุษฺมตฺสมีปาทฺ อสฺมตฺสนฺนิธิมฺ อาคตฺย ยุษฺมากํ วิศฺวาสเปฺรมณี อธฺยสฺมานฺ สุวารฺตฺตำ ชฺญาปิตวานฺ วยญฺจ ยถา ยุษฺมานฺ สฺมรามสฺตถา ยูยมปฺยสฺมานฺ สรฺวฺวทา ปฺรณเยน สฺมรถ ทฺรษฺฏุมฺ อากางฺกฺษเธฺว เจติ กถิตวานฺฯ

7 for this cause, brethren, we were comforted over you in all our distress and affliction by your faith;

เห ภฺราตร: , วารฺตฺตามิมำ ปฺราปฺย ยุษฺมานธิ วิเศษโต ยุษฺมากํ เกฺลศทุ: ขานฺยธิ ยุษฺมากํ วิศฺวาสาทฺ อสฺมากํ สานฺตฺวนาชายต;

8 for now we live, if ye stand fast in the Lord.

ยโต ยูยํ ยทิ ปฺรภาววติษฺฐถ ตรฺหฺยเนน วยมฺ อธุนา ชีวาม: ฯ

9 For what thanks can we render to God for you, for all the joy wherewith we rejoice for your sakes before our God;

วยญฺจาสฺมทีเยศฺวรสฺย สากฺษาทฺ ยุษฺมตฺโต ชาเตน เยนานนฺเทน ปฺรผุลฺลา ภวามสฺตสฺย กฺฤตฺสฺนสฺยานนฺทสฺย โยคฺยรูเปเณศฺวรํ ธนฺยํ วทิตุํ กถํ ศกฺษฺยาม: ?

10 night and day praying exceedingly that we may see your face, and may supply that which is lacking in your faith?

วยํ เยน ยุษฺมากํ วทนานิ ทฺรษฺฏุํ ยุษฺมากํ วิศฺวาเส ยทฺ อสิทฺธํ วิทฺยเต ตตฺ สิทฺธีกรฺตฺตุญฺจ ศกฺษฺยามสฺตาทฺฤศํ วรํ ทิวานิศํ ปฺรารฺถยามเหฯ

11 Now God himself, our Father, and our Lord Jesus direct our way to you;

อสฺมากํ ตาเตเนศฺวเรณ ปฺรภุนา ยีศุขฺรีษฺเฏน จ ยุษฺมตฺสมีปคมนายาสฺมากํ ปนฺถา สุคม: กฺริยตำฯ

12 and the Lord make you to increase and abound in love toward one another and toward all, even as we do in love toward you;

ปรสฺปรํ สรฺวฺวำศฺจ ปฺรติ ยุษฺมากํ เปฺรม ยุษฺมานฺ ปฺรติ จาสฺมากํ เปฺรม ปฺรภุนา วรฺทฺธฺยตำ พหุผลํ กฺริยตาญฺจฯ

13 in order that he may establish your hearts unblamable in holiness before God, our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his holy ones.

อปรมสฺมากํ ปฺรภุ รฺยีศุขฺรีษฺฏ: สฺวกีไย: สรฺไวฺว: ปวิตฺรโลไก: สารฺทฺธํ ยทาคมิษฺยติ ตทา ยูยํ ยถาสฺมากํ ตาตเสฺยศฺวรสฺย สมฺมุเข ปวิตฺรตยา นิรฺโทษา ภวิษฺยถ ตถา ยุษฺมากํ มนำสิ สฺถิรีกฺริยนฺตำฯ
