< 1 Peter 3 >
1 In like manner, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands, that even if any obey not the word, they may without the word be won by the behavior of the wives,
Buawu bobo beno baketo: bika luba bulemvo kuidi babakala beno muingi, enati babakala bankaka mu bawu bawilukilanga mambu ma Nzambi ko, balenda balula mintima miawu mu kambu longo mambu ma Nzambi bu beti mona khadulu yi baketo bawu
2 when they behold your chaste behavior coupled with fear.
bila bela mona ti nzingulu yeno yidi yivedila ayi yidi yi lukinzu.
3 Whose adorning, let it not be the out yard adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing golden ornaments, or of putting on apparel;
Bika lutomba, bika sia kitoko ki mbata kaka: zitsuki zikangusu bumboti, bilunga binolo, minledi mi kitoko
4 but the hidden man of the heart, in that which is imperishable, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
vayi bika lutomba kitoko ki khati kioki kilendi suka ko, kilembami kindembama kimonikanga mfunu va meso ma Nzambi.
5 For in this manner in the old time the holy women also, who hoped in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection to their own husbands;
Buawu bobo mu thama buvuatila baketo banlongo; bobo batula diana diawu mu Nzambi ayi bulemvo baba kuidi babakala bawu.
6 as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord; whose daughters ye have become, if ye do well, and fear no alarm.
Buawu bobo bubela Sala: bu katumimina Abalahami buna wuntedila Pfumuꞌama. Beno lukitukidi bana bandi ba baketo enati lumvanga mambotimu kambu mona tsisi.
7 Dwell likewise, O husband, with thy wife according to knowledge, as with the weaker vessel, giving her honor as being heir with thee of the grace of life, that your prayers be not hindered.
Bobuawu beno babakala, luzinga va kimosi ayi baketo beno mu diela, banga kuidi vangu kilebakana. Bika luba kinzikanga. Bafueti tambulangava kimosi ayi beno dikaba di nlemvo di luzingu muingi va bika ba diambu dinkakidila zitsambulu zieno.
8 Finally, be, all of one mind, have fellow feeling, love as brethren, be compassionate, be humble;
Bosi, bika beno boso luba mayindu mamosi; bika lumonasananga kiadi; bika luzolasananga banga bakhomba; bika luba batu bamboti; bika lukikululanga.
9 not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing; but, on the contrary, blessing the evil-doer; because for this end ye were called, that ye might inherit blessing.
Lubika vutudilanga mambimbi mu mambimbi; fingu mu bifingu. Vayi bulutidi mboti lusakumunanga bila mu bila kioki beno lutedolo mbila muingi lutambula lusakumunu.
10 “For he that would love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking guile;
Woso mutu zodidi zinga mboti ayi zodidi mona bilumbu bi zikhini, buna kafueti yadila ludimi luandi mu mambu mambimbi ayi bididi biandi mu mambu ma luvunu.
11 let him turn away from evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and pursue it.
Kafueti tinanga mambimbi ayi kafueti vanganga mamboti; kafueti tombanga ndembama ayi landakananga yawu.
12 For the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are toward their supplication; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”
Bila meso ma Pfumu madi kuidi basonga; Pfumu wuntambanga dikutu diandi mu lusambulu lu basonga, vayi zizi ki Pfumu kidi kikangama kuidi bobo bamvanganga mambimbi.
13 And who is he that shall harm you, if ye are followers of that which is good?
Nani wulenda kuluvanga phasi enati mamboti kaka lueti vanga e?
14 But if ye even suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye. And be not afraid at their terrors, nor alarmed;
Vayi enati lulenda mona phasi mu diambu di mambu masonga, buna luidi mu khini. Lubika mona batu tsisi ayi lubika kukiyamisa.
15 but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts. And be ready always to give an answer to every one that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you, but with meekness and fear;
Vayi mu mintima mieno lukembisa Klisto banga Pfumu. Bika lukalanga bakubama mu zithangu zioso mu vutula mu malembi ayi mu lukinzu kuidi woso mutu tidi zaba bila ki diana diodi didi mu beno.
16 having a good conscience, that, wherein ye are evil spoken of, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conduct in Christ.
Vayi bika luba mayindu mamboti ma ntima mivedila mu diambu di batu bobo balembokulutubidila banga ti luidi batu bamvanganga mambu mambimbi, batu bobo balembo yolukila khadulu eno yimboti mu Klisto bafua tsoni.
17 For it is better, if it be the will of God, that ye suffer for well-doing, than for evil-doing.
Bila bulutidi mboti, enati buawu bobo buididi luzolo lu Nzambi, mu mona phasi mu vanganga mambu mamboti vayi bika mu vanganga mambu mambimbi.
18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous one for the unrighteous, that he might bring you to God, being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;
Niandi veka Klisto wumona phasi mu khumbu yimosi mu diambu di masumu meno; niandi mutu wusonga; wufua mu diambu di batu bobo bakambulu basongamuingi katunata kuidi Nzambi. Wufua mu nsuni vayi wuzingusu mu Pheve.
19 in which also he went and preached to the spirits in prison,
Mu pheve beni kayendila ayi kalongila ziphevi ziba mu nloko.
20 who were disobedient in times past, when the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was preparing, wherein a few, that is, eight souls, were saved by water;
Zipheve beni zisia tuama tumukina ko, ka diambu ko Nzambi wuvibidila mu thangu Nowa kaba tunga masuwa. Batu bafioti kuandi, dinana kuandi di batu divuka mu khuka yi nlangu beni.
21 which in its antitype, baptism, is now saving you, —not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the earnest seeking for a good conscience toward God, —by the resurrection of Jesus Christ;
Buawu bobo beno luvukidi buabu. Mambu momo madi kifuani ki mbotokolo. Yawu yisi ko mu diambu di sukula mvindu yi nitu vayi mu diambu di kukiyekula kuidi Nzambi mu mayindu mamboti ma ntima. Mambu moso momo malenda vangama mu diambu di mfulukulu yi Yesu Klisto
22 who is on the right hand of God, having gone into heaven, angels and authorities and powers being made subject to him.
bila buna kavuendi va lubakala lu Nzambi tona kakuma ku Diyilu; zimbasi ayi bipfumu ayi lulendo bidi ku tsi minsua miandi.
