1 Corinthians 2
1 And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech, or of wisdom, declaring to you the testimony of God.
Так і я, брати, прибувши до вас, не прийшов звіщати Божу таємницю майстерністю слова або мудрістю,
2 For I determined not to know anything while with you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
адже я вирішив не знати серед вас нічого, окрім Ісуса Христа, і то Його розіп’ятого.
3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling;
Я перебував серед вас у слабкості, у страху та у великому тремтінні.
4 and my speech and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit, and of power;
Моє слово та моя проповідь не [полягали] в переконливих словах мудрості, а в прояві Духа та сили,
5 that your faith might not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God.
щоб ваша віра [ґрунтувалася] не на мудрості людей, а на силі Бога.
6 But we do speak wisdom among the perfect; not, however, the wisdom of this world, nor of the rulers of this world, who are coming to nought; (aiōn g165)
Усе ж таки ми говоримо про мудрість між довершеними, а не про мудрість цього віку й не про керівників цього віку, які проходять. (aiōn g165)
7 but we speak God's wisdom in a mystery, the hidden wisdom, which God determined on before the world was, for our glory; (aiōn g165)
Ми говоримо про Божу мудрість, заховану в таємниці, яку Бог заздалегідь призначив для нашої слави перед віками. (aiōn g165)
8 which none of the rulers of this world comprehended; for had they comprehended it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory; (aiōn g165)
І цієї мудрості не пізнав жоден із правителів цього віку, бо якби пізнали, то не розіп’яли б Господа слави. (aiōn g165)
9 but, as it is written: “The things which eye hath not seen, and ear hath not heard, and which have not entered into the heart of man, the great things which God hath prepared for those that love him.”
Але як написано: «Око не бачило, та вухо не чуло, і до серця людського не підіймалося те, що Бог приготував тим, хто любить Його».
10 For God hath revealed them to us by his Spirit; for the Spirit searcheth all things, even the depths of God.
А нам Бог відкрив це через Духа. Адже Дух усе досліджує, навіть Божі глибини.
11 For who among men knoweth the things of a man, but the spirit of the man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no one but the Spirit of God.
І дійсно, хто знає те, що є в людині, як не людський дух, який є в ній? Так само ніхто не знає те, що є в Бозі, окрім Божого Духа.
12 But we did not receive the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might know the things that have been given to us by the grace of God;
Ми ж не маємо духа світу, але Духа від Бога, щоб знати те, що дароване нам Богом.
13 which things we also speak, not in words taught by man's wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, connecting what is spiritual l with what is spiritual.
І говоримо про це не словами, яких навчає людська мудрість, а [словами, ] вивченими в Дусі, пояснюючи духовне духовним.
14 But the unspiritual man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot know them; because they are spiritually discerned.
А плотська людина не приймає того, що від Божого Духа, бо для неї це безумство; і вона не може [цього] пізнати, адже про це можна судити лише духовно.
15 But he that is spiritual judgeth of all things, yet he himself is judged by no one.
Духовний судить усе, а його ніхто не судить.
16 For “who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.
Адже «Хто пізнав задум Господа, щоб порадити Йому?» Ми ж маємо розум Христа.
