1 Corinthians 15
1 Moreover, brethren, I declare anew to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also ye received, and wherein ye stand,
भाइहरू हो, तिमीहरूका माझमा मैले घोषणा गरेको सुसमाचार तिमीहरूलाई म स्मरण गराउँछु जुन तिमीहरूले पायौ र तिमीहरू त्यसैमा रहन्छौ ।
2 by which also ye are saved, if ye hold fast the same word which I preached to you, unless ye believed in vain.
मैले प्रचार गरेको वचनमा अटल रह्यौ भने यही सुसमाचारद्वारा तिमीहरू बचाइन्छौ । नत्रता तिमीहरूले व्यर्थमा विश्वास गर्यौ ।
3 For I delivered to you first of all what I also received, that Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures;
किनकि मैले जे पाएँ ती तिमीहरूलाई अति महत्त्वका साथ सुम्पिदिएः धर्मशास्त्रअनुसार ख्रीष्ट हाम्रा पापका लागि मर्नुभयो,
4 and that he was buried, and that he hath risen on the third day, according to the Scriptures;
उहाँ गाडिनुभयो अनि धर्मशास्त्रअनुसार नै तेस्रो दिनमा जीवित पारिनुभयो ।
5 and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.
त्यसपछि उहाँ केफास र बाह्र जना चेलाकहाँ देखा पर्नुभयो ।
6 After that, he appeared to more than five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain until now, but some have fallen asleep.
त्यसपछि उहाँ एकसाथ पाँचसय भाइहरूकहाँ देखा पर्नुभयो । तीमध्ये धेरै जना अहिलेसम्म जीवित छन्, तर कतिचाहिँ मरिसकेका छन् ।
7 After that, he appeared to James; then to all the apostles.
त्यसपछि उहाँ याकूब र बाँकी रहेका सबै प्रेरितहरूका माझमा देखा पर्नुभयो ।
8 And last of all, as to one born out of due time, he appeared also to me.
अन्त्यमा उहाँ असमयमा जन्मेको बालककहाँ जस्तै गरी मकहाँ देखा पर्नुभयो ।
9 For I am the least of the apostles, one not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
किनकि म प्रेरितहरूमध्ये सबैभन्दा तुच्छ हुँ । म प्रेरित कहलाइन योग्य छैनँ किनकि मैले परमेश्वरको मण्डलीलाई सताएँ ।
10 But by the grace of God I am what I am; and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain, but I labored more abundantly than they all; yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
तर म जे छु परमेश्वरको अनुग्रहमा छु र ममा भएको उहाँको अनुग्रह व्यर्थमा थिएन । बरु, मैले तिनीहरू सबैले भन्दा बढी परिश्रम गरेँ । तरै पनि त्यो मैले होइनँ तर ममा काम गर्नुहुने परमेश्वरको अनुग्रहले थियो ।
11 Whether, then, it were I or they, thus we preach, and thus ye believed.
यसैकारण, म वा तिनीहरू जसले भए पनि हामी प्रचार गर्छौं र तिमीहरूले विश्वास गर्यौ ।
12 But if Christ be preached that he hath risen from the dead, how is it that some among you say, that there is no resurrection of the dead?
अब यदि ख्रीष्ट मृतकहरूबाट जीवित पारिनुभएको हो भनी घोषणा गरिन्छ भने कसरी तिमीहरूमध्ये कतिपयले मृतकहरूको पुनरुत्थान हुँदैन भन्न सक्छौ?
13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then Christ hath not risen;
तर यदि मृतकहरूको पुनरुत्थान हुँदैन भने ख्रीष्ट पनि जीवित पारिनुभएन ।
14 and if Christ hath not risen, then is our preaching vain, and vain also is your faith.
र यदि ख्रीष्ट जीवित पारिनुभएको होइन भने हाम्रो प्रचार पनि व्यर्थ हुन्छ र तिमीहरूको विश्वास पनि व्यर्थ हुन्छ ।
15 And we are also found false witnesses concerning God; because we testified concerning God that he raised up Christ, whom he did not raise up, if so be that the dead rise not.
अनि परमेश्वरले ख्रीष्टलाई जीवित नपारीकन उहाँले जीवित पार्नुभयो भनेर उहाँको विरुद्धमा झुटो गवाही दिएको कारण हामी झुटा गवाह हुन्छौँ ।
16 For if the dead rise not, then Christ hath not risen;
यदि मरेकाहरू जीवित पारिँदैनन् भने ख्रीष्ट पनि जीवित पारिनुभएन ।
17 and if Christ hath not risen, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins;
तर यदि ख्रीष्ट जीवित पारिनुभएको होइन भने तिमीहरूको विश्वास व्यर्थ हुन्छ र तिमीहरू अझै पनि पापमा नै छौ ।
18 then also they that have fallen asleep in Christ have perished.
तब ख्रीष्टमा मर्नेहरू पनि नष्ट भएका छन् ।
19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
यदि यस जीवनको लागि मात्र हामीले ख्रीष्टमा भविष्यको निश्चयता पाएका छौँ भने त हामी सबै मानिसहरूभन्दा बढी दयनीय हुन्छौँ ।
20 But now hath Christ risen from the dead, the first-fruits of them that have fallen asleep.
तर अब ख्रीष्ट मृतकहरूबाट जीवित पारिनुभएको छ र यसरी मरेकाहरूबाट जीवित भई उठ्नेमा उहाँ पहिलो फल हुनुभएको छ ।
21 For since through man came death, through man came also the resurrection of the dead.
किनकि मृत्यु एक जना मानिसबाट आयो र मृतकहरूको पुनरुत्थान पनि एक जना मानिसबाट नै आयो ।
22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ will all be made alive.
किनकि जसरी आदममा सबैको मृत्यु हुन्छ, त्यसरी नै ख्रीष्टमा सबै जीवित परिनेछन् ।
23 But every one in his own order; Christ the first-fruits, afterward they that are Christ's, at his coming.
तर प्रत्येक कुरा आफ्नै क्रमअनुसार हुनेछः ख्रीष्ट पहिलो फल हुनुहुन्छ र त्यसपछि ख्रीष्टमा भएकाहरू उहाँको आगमनमा जीवित पारिनेछन् ।
24 Then will be the end, when he delivereth up the kingdom to God, the Father, when he shall have destroyed all dominion, and all authority, and power.
त्यसपछि अन्त्य आउनेछ, जुन बेला ख्रीष्टले राज्यलाई परमेश्वर पिताको हातमा सुम्पिदिनुहुनेछ । त्यस बेला उहाँले सबै शासन, सारा अख्तियार र सबै सामर्थ्यलाई उन्मूलन गरिदिनुहुनेछ ।
25 For he must reign, “till he hath put all enemies under his feet.”
किनकि आफ्ना सबै शत्रुहरूलाई आफ्ना खुट्टामुनि नपारुञ्जेलसम्म उहाँले शासन गर्नुहुनेछ ।
26 The last enemy, death, will be destroyed;
नष्ट गर्नुपर्ने अन्तिम शत्रु मृत्यु हो ।
27 for “he put all things under his feet.” But when it is said that all things have been put under him, it is manifest that he who put all things under him is excepted.
किनकि “उहाँले सबै कुरालाई उहाँको आफ्नो पाउमुनि ल्याउनुहुनेछ ।” तर “उहाँले सबै कुरा आफ्नो अधीनमा राख्नुभएको छ” भन्नाले यसको अर्थ हुन्छ कि सबै कुरा उहाँको अधीनमा राख्नेचाहिँ यसमा पर्नुहुन्न ।
28 And when all things have been put under him, then will also the Son himself become subject to him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
जब सबै कुरा उहाँको अधीनमा राखिन्छन्, तब पुत्रको अधीनमा सबै कुराहरू राखिदिनेको अधीनमा उहाँ आफैँ आउनुहुनेछ । परमेश्वर पिता सबै कुरामा सर्वोच्च ठहरिन सक्नुभएको होस् भनेर यसो हुनेछ ।
29 If it be not so, what are they doing, who are baptized for the dead? If the dead rise not at all, why are they then baptized for them?
नत्रता मरेकाहरूको निम्ति बप्तिस्मा लिनेहरूले के गर्ने त? यदि मरेकाहरू जीवित नपारिने हो भने किन तिनीहरूका निम्ति उनीहरूले बप्तिस्मा लिए?
30 Why also do we stand in peril every hour?
र किन हामी हरपल खतरामा छौँ?
31 I protest, brethren, by my glorying in you which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, that I die daily.
म प्रतिदिन मर्दछु । भाइहरू हो, म तिमीहरूमा गर्व गर्दछु, जुन मैले येशू ख्रीष्ट हाम्रा प्रभुमा पाएको छु ।
32 If with the views of men I fought with wild beasts at Ephesus, what advantage is it to me? If the dead rise not, “let us eat and drink, for to-morrow we die.”
यदि मरेकाहरू जीवित भई उठ्दैनन् भने एफिससमा मैले मेरो ज्यानलाई नै जोखिममा पारेर जङ्गली जनावरसँग गरेको लडाइँले मानवीय दृष्टिबाट मलाई के लाभ हुन्छ र? त्यसैले, “हामी खाऔँ र पिऔँ किनकि भोलि त हामी मरिहाल्छौँ ।”
33 Be not deceived; “evil communications corrupt good manners.”
भर्ममा नपर “खराब सङ्गतले असल चरित्रलाई बिगार्छ ।”
34 Awake, as is your duty, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God; I say it to your shame.
धोका नखाओ! धार्मिकतामा जिओ! पाप गरी नरहो । किनकि तिमीहरूमध्ये कतिलाई त परमेश्वरको कुनै ज्ञानै छैन । तिमीहरूलाई लज्जित पार्न म यो भन्दछु ।
35 But some one will say, How are the dead to rise? and with what body do they come?
तर कसैले यसरी भन्नेछ, “मरेकाहरू कसरी जीवित पारिन्छन्? अनि कस्तो शरीर लिएर तिनीहरू आउनेछन्?”
36 Fool! that which thou sowest is not brought to life unless it die;
तिमीहरू अति अन्जान छौ! जे रोप्छौ सो नमरेसम्म उम्रन थाल्नेछैन,
37 and what thou sowest, not the body that shall be dost thou sow, but a bare grain, of wheat perhaps, or of some of the other grains;
अनि तिमीहरूले जे रोप्छौ त्यो पछि हुने शरीर होइन, तर बिउ मात्र हो । त्यो गहुँ या अन्य कुनै कुरा बन्न सक्छ ।
38 but God giveth it a body, as he willed, and to every seed its own body.
तर परमेश्वरले चाहेअनुसारको शरीर त्यसलाई दिनुहुनेछ र प्रत्येक बिउलाई त्यसको आफ्नै शरीर दिनुहुनेछ ।
39 All flesh is not the same flesh; but there is one flesh of men, another of beasts, another of birds, another of fishes.
सबै शरीर उस्तै हुँदैनन् । मानवीय शरीर एक किसिमको हुन्छ भने पशुको शरीर अर्को किसिमको र त्यसरी नै चराहरू वा माछाहरूको शरीर अर्कै किसिमको हुन्छ ।
40 There are also heavenly bodies, and earthly bodies; but the glory of the heavenly is one, and the glory of the earthly is another.
त्यसरी नै स्वर्गीय तथा पार्थिव शरीरहरू हुन्छन् । तर स्वर्गीय शरीरको महिमा एक किसिमको र पार्थिव शरीरको महिमा अर्कै हुन्छ ।
41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differeth from another star in glory.
सूर्यको महिमा एक किसिमको हुन्छ र चन्द्रमाको अर्कै र त्यसरी नै ताराहरूको महिमा फरक हुन्छ । किनकि एउटा ताराको महिमा अर्को ताराको भन्दा फरक हुन्छ ।
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption;
मृतकहरूको पुनरुत्थान पनि त्यस्तै हो । रोपिएको कुरा नष्ट भएर जानेछ र उठाइएको कुरा नष्ट हुनेछैन ।
43 it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power;
त्यसलाई अनादरमा रोपिन्छ र महिमामा उठाइन्छ; त्यसलाई कमजोरीमा रोपिन्छ र शक्तिमा उठाइनेछ ।
44 it is sown an animal body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is an animal body, there is also a spiritual body.
त्यसलाई प्राकृतिक शरीरमा रोपिन्छ र आत्मिक शरीरमा उठाइन्छ । यदि प्राकृतिक शरीर हुन्छ भने आत्मिक शरीर पनि हुन्छ ।
45 Thus is it also written: “The first man Adam became a living soul;” the last Adam a life-giving spirit.
त्यसैले, यस्तो पनि लेखिएको छ, “पहिलो मानिस आदम जीवित प्राण बन्यो ।” अन्तिम आदम जीवन दिने आत्मा बन्नुभयो ।
46 But the spiritual is not first, but the animal; and afterward the spiritual.
तर पहिले आएकोचाहिँ आत्मिक होइन, तर प्राकृतिक थियो त्यसपछि आत्मिक आयो ।
47 The first man is from the earth, earthy; the second man is from heaven.
पहिलो मानिस भूमिको माटोबाट बनाइएको पृथ्वीको हो । दोस्रो मानिस स्वर्गबाट आएको हो ।
48 As was the earthy, such are they also that are earthy; and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly;
माटोबाट बनेको मानिसजस्तो हो; माटोबाट बनिएकाहरू पनि त्यस्तै हुन् । र स्वर्गको मानिस जस्तो छ, स्वर्गकाहरू पनि त्यस्तै हुन्छन् ।
49 and as we bore the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
जसरी हामी सबैले माटोबाट बनेको मानिसको रूप धारण गरेका छौँ, त्यसरी नै स्वर्गबाट आउनुभएका मानिसको रूपलाई धारण गरेका छौँ ।
50 And this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor doth corruption inherit incorruption.
त्यसैले, अब भाइहरू हो म भन्छु कि मासु र रगत परमेश्वरको राज्यको हकदार हुन सक्नेछैन, न त विनाशी अविनाशिको हकदार हुन सक्छ ।
51 Behold, I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep; but we shall all be changed,
हेर! म तिमीहरूलाई गोप्य सत्य बताउँछुः हामी सबै मर्नेछैनौँ, तर हामी सबै परिवर्तन हुनेछौँ ।
52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
हामीहरू एकै क्षणमा, आँखाको एक निमेषमा, तुरहीको अन्तिम आवाजमा परिवर्तन हुनेछौँ । किनकि तुरही बज्नेछ र मरेकाहरू अविनाशी शरीरमा जीवित पारिनेछन् र हामी परिवर्तन हुनेछौँ ।
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
किनकि विनाशीले शरीरले अविनाशी शरीरलाई धारण गर्नुपर्छ र यो मरणशील शरीरले अमरत्व धारण गर्नुपर्छ ।
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then will be brought to pass that which is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”
यो विनाशी शरीरले अविनाशीलाई धारण गर्नेछ र यो मरणशील शरीरले अमरत्व धारण गरेपछि यसरी लेखिएको वचन पुरा हुन आउनेछः “मृत्यु विजयमा निलिएको छ ।”
“हे मृत्यु तेरो विजय कहाँ छ? मृत्यु तेरो खिल कहाँ छ?” (Hadēs g86)
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the Law.
मृत्युको खिल पाप हो र पापको शक्ति व्यवस्था हो ।
57 But thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory, through our Lord Jesus Christ.
तर येशू ख्रीष्ट हाम्रा प्रभुद्वारा हामीलाई विजय दिने परमेश्वरलाई धन्यवाद होस्!
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, since ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
त्यसैकारण, मेरा प्रिय भाइहरू हो, स्थिर र अटल रहो । सधैँ परमेश्वरको काममा व्यस्त रहो, किनकि परमेश्वरमा तिमीहरूको काम व्यर्थ हुँदैन ।
