1 Corinthians 12
1 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
Ty amo falalàn’ arofoo, ry longo, tsy teako hamoea’ areo.
2 Ye know, that when ye were gentiles, ye were carried away to dumb idols, as ye happened to be led;
Fohi’ areo t’ie mbe nifehèa’ ty voatse toy, le nampandriheñe mb’amo raha fahasive moañeo, toe nikozozoteñe mb’eo.
3 wherefore I give you to understand that no one speaking by the Spirit of God saith, Accursed be Jesus; and that no one can say, Jesus is Lord, but by the Holy Spirit.
Aa le ampahafohineko, te tsy ia ty ampivolañe’ i Arofon’ Añaharey ty hoe: Afàtse t’Iesoà, vaho tsy eo ty mahafisaontsy ty hoe: Iesoà ro Talè, naho tsy i Arofo Masiñey.
4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit;
Miambakambake o falalàñeo, fe raike i Arofoy.
5 and there are diversities of services, but the same Lord;
Mizarazara o fitoroñañeo, fe raike t’i Talè.
6 and there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God who worketh all things in all.

7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the good of others.
songa anolora’e vintañe raike boak’ amy Arofoy ho fañasoàñe i màroy;
8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit;
anolora’e tsaran-kihitse amy Arofoy ty raike, le tsaran-kaharendrehañe amy Arofoy ty ila’e,
9 to another faith, by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing, by the one Spirit;
le fatokisañe amy Arofoy ty ila’e, naho falalàm-pampijangañe amy Arofoy avao ty ila’e
10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another divers kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.
naho fanoan-draha-tsitantane ty ila’e naho fitokiañe ty ila’e naho fahatsikaritam-pañahy ty ila’e naho fisaontsy-ankafankafa ty ila’e vaho fandikañe fisaontsy ty ila’e.
11 But all these worketh the one and self-same Spirit, allotting to each one severally as it will.

12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body, so it is with Christ.

13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or freemen; and were all made to drink one Spirit.
Toe ami’ty Arofo raike tika ro songa nalipotse amy fañòvay ao—ke Jiosy he Grika, ke ondevo he midada—sindre nampinomeñe amy Arofoy.
14 For the body also is not one member, but many.
Toe tsy raike o fangefange an-tsandriñeo fa maro.
15 If the foot say, Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body, is it for this reason not of the body?
Aa naho nanao ty hoe ty fandia: Kanao tsy fitàn-draho, tsy mpiamy fañòvay. Tsy manebañe aze tsy ho mpitraoke amy sandriñey zay.
16 And if the ear say, Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body, is it for this reason not of the body?
Le ie manao ty hoe ty ravembia: Kanao tsy fihaino iraho, tsy mpiamy fañòvay. Tsy mikalañe aze tsy ho mpitraoke amy sandriñey zay.
17 If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling?
Naho ni-fihaino iaby i fañòvay, aia ty hijanjiña’e? Naho ni-fijanjiñañe iaby, aia ty hiantsona’e?
18 But as it is, God set the members every one of them in the body, as it pleased him.
Ie amy zao, songa nalahan’ Añahare amy satri’ey o mpitraok’ amy fañòvaio.
19 And if they were all one member, where would be the body?
Aa naho sindre raha raike avao o fangefangeo, ino ty maha sandriñe aze?
20 But now there are, indeed, many members, but one body.
Ie amy zao, maro o fangefangeo fe raike ty sandriñe.
21 And the eye cannot say to the hand, I have no need of thee; nor, again, the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
Tsy mahavolañe ty hoe ami’ty fitàñe ty fihaino: Tsy paiako irehe; ndra ty añambone amo fandiao ty hoe: Tsy ipaiako.
22 Nay, still more, those members of the body which seem to be weak, are necessary;
Fe o mpitrao-tsandriñe atao malemeio ro toe paiàñe.
23 and what we think to be less honorable parts of the body, upon these we bestow more abundant honor; and our unseemly parts have more abundant seemliness;
Mbore onjonen-tika o amy sandriñe ataontika ho ambane lohàñeo, naho ampihaminen-tikañe engeñe o fangefange tsy sengeñeo,
24 while our seemly parts have no need. But God so put the body together, as to give special honor to that part which lacked,
f’ie tsy paia’ o fangefange mahaboleakeo, fa rinanjin’ Añahare ho raike i fañòvay vaho tinolo’e asiñe ambone o fangefange tsy aman’ asiñeo,
25 that there might be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care one for another.
soa tsy hifañambakambake i fañòvay, fa hene hifampiatrake mira o fangefangeo.
26 And so if one member suffereth, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.
Aa ie misotry ty fange’e raike, mindre miore ama’e o fangefangeo; ie asiñeñe ty fange’e, le miharo firebeke ama’e o fangefangeo.
27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members individually. And
Toe fañòva’ i Norizañey nahareo, songa fangefange ama’e.
28 God appointed some in the church to be, in the first place, apostles, in the second place, prophets, in the third place, teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, those of helping and of governing, divers kinds of tongues. Are all apostles?
Le nitendrèn’ Añahare amy Fivoriy ho valoha’e o Firàheñeo; faharoe o mpitokio, fahatelo o mpañokeo, le o raha-tsitantaneo, le o falalàm-panahàñeo, o fañimbàñeo, o fifeheañeo vaho o saontsy ankafankafao.
29 Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles?
Songa Firàheñe hao? Sindre mpitoky hao? hene mpañoke hao? Sindre mpanao raha tsitantane hao?
30 Have all the gifts of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?
Fonga amam-palalàm-panahàñe hao? Sindre misaontsy am-pameleke hao? Hene mpandika hao?
31 But desire earnestly the greater gifts. And furthermore I show you by far the most excellent way.
