< Song of Solomon 8 >
1 Oh that you were like my brother, who sucked the breasts of my mother. If I found you outside, I would kiss you; yes, and no one would despise me.
Ukanakhala kuti ndiwe mlongo wanga, amene anayamwa mawere a amayi anga! Ndikanakumana nawe pa njira, ndikanakupsompsona, ndipo palibe wina aliyense akanandinyoza.
2 I would lead you, bringing you into my mother's house, who would instruct me. I would have you drink spiced wine, of the juice of my pomegranate.
Ndikanakutenga ndi kukulowetsa mʼnyumba ya amayi anga, amayi amene anandiphunzitsa, ndikanakupatsa vinyo wotsekemera kuti umwe, zotsekemera za makangadza.
3 His left hand would be under my head. His right hand would embrace me.
Mutu wanga watsamira dzanja lake lamanzere ndipo dzanja lake lamanja landikumbatira.
4 I adjure you, daughters of Jerusalem, that you not stir up, nor awaken love, until it so desires.
Inu akazi a ku Yerusalemu, ndithu ndikukupemphani: musachigwedeze chikondi kapena kuchiutsa mpaka pamene chifunire ichocho.
5 Who is this who comes up from the wilderness, leaning on her beloved? Under the apple tree I aroused you. There your mother conceived you. There she was in labor and bore you.
Kodi ndani uyo akutuluka ku chipululuyo, atatsamira wokondedwa wakeyo? Mkazi Ndinakudzutsa pa tsinde pa mtengo wa apulosi, pamenepo ndi pamene amayi anachirira, pamenepo ndi pamene wokubereka anamva ululu pokubala iweyo.
6 Set me as a seal on your heart, as a seal on your arm; for love is strong as death. Jealousy is as cruel as Sheol. Its flashes are flashes of fire, a very flame of YHWH. (Sheol )
Undiyike pamtima pako ngati chidindo, ngati chidindo cha pa dzanja lako; pakuti chikondi nʼchamphamvu ngati imfa, nsanje ndiyaliwuma ngati manda. Chikondi chimachita kuti lawilawi ngati malawi a moto wamphamvu. (Sheol )
7 Many waters can't quench love, neither can floods drown it. If a man would give all the wealth of his house for love, he would be utterly scorned.
Madzi ochuluka sangachizimitse chikondi, mitsinje singachikokolole chikondicho. Ngati wina apereka chuma chonse cha mʼnyumba mwake chifukwa cha chikondi, adzangonyozeka nazo kotheratu.
8 We have a little sister. She has no breasts. What shall we do for our sister in the day when she is to be spoken for?
Ife tili naye mlongo wathu wamngʼono, koma alibe mawere, kodi tidzamuchitira chiyani mlongo wathuyu pa tsiku limene adzamufunsire?
9 If she is a wall, we will build on her a turret of silver. If she is a door, we will enclose her with boards of cedar.
Ngati iye ndi khoma, tidzamumangira nsanja ya siliva. Ngati iye ndi chitseko, tidzamutchinga ndi matabwa a mkungudza.
10 I am a wall, and my breasts like towers, then I was in his eyes like one who found peace.
Ine ndili ngati khoma, ndipo mawere anga ndi nsanja zake. Tsono mʼmaso mwa bwenzi langa ndine wobweretsa mtendere.
11 Solomon had a vineyard at Baal Hamon. He leased out the vineyard to keepers. Each was to bring a thousand shekels of silver for its fruit.
Solomoni anali ndi munda wampesa ku Baala-Hamoni; iyeyo anabwereketsa munda wamphesawo kwa alimi, aliyense mwa iwo ankayenera kupereka ndalama zasiliva 1,000 mʼmalo mwa zipatso zake.
12 My own vineyard is before me. The thousand are for you, Solomon; two hundred for those who tend its fruit.
Koma munda wanga wampesa ndi wangawanga ndiponso wa ine ndekha. Iwe Solomoni, khala nazo ndalama zasiliva 1,000 ndipo ndalama zasiliva 200 ndi za amene akusamalira mundawo.
13 You who dwell in the gardens, with friends in attendance, let me hear your voice.
Iwe amene umakhala mʼminda uli pamodzi ndi anzako, ndilole kuti ndimve liwu lako!
14 Come away, my beloved. Be like a gazelle or a young stag on the mountains of spices.
Fulumira wokondedwa wanga, ndipo ukhale ngati gwape kapena mwana wa mbawala wothamanga mʼmapiri mʼmene mumamera mbewu zokometsera chakudya.
