< Romans 6 >
1 What should we say then? Should we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
Zvino tichatiiko? Toramba tichiita zvivi here kuti nyasha dziwande?
2 Absolutely not. We who died to sin, how could we live in it any longer?
Kwete napaduku pose! Takafa kuzvivi; tingararama sei mazviri zvakare?
3 Or do you not know that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
Ko, hamuzivi here kuti isu tose vaya vakabhabhatidzwa muna Kristu Jesu takabhabhatidzwa murufu rwake?
4 We were buried therefore with him through baptism to death, that just like Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.
Naizvozvo takavigwa naye kubudikidza nokubhabhatidzwa murufu kuitira kuti, sokumutswa kwakaitwa Kristu kubva kuvakafa nokubwinya kwaBaba, nesuwo tirarame upenyu hutsva.
5 For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will also be part of his resurrection;
Nokuti kana takabatanidzwa naye zvakadai murufu rwake, zvirokwazvo tichabatanawo naye mukumuka kwake.
6 knowing this, that our old self was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin.
Nokuti tinoziva kuti munhu wedu wakare akarovererwa pamuchinjikwa pamwe chete naye kuti muviri wechivi ushayiswe simba, kuti tirege kuvazve varanda vechivi,
7 For he who has died has been freed from sin.
nokuti uyo anenge afa asunungurwa kubva kuchivi.
8 But if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him;
Zvino kana takafa naKristu, tinotenda kuti tichararamawo pamwe chete naye.
9 knowing that Christ, being raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no more has dominion over him.
Nokuti sezvo tichiziva kuti Kristu akamutswa kubva kuvakafa, haachazofizve; rufu harusisina simba pamusoro pake.
10 For the death that he died, he died to sin one time; but the life that he lives, he lives to God.
Rufu rwaakafa, akafa kuchivi kamwe chete zvikabva zvapera; asi upenyu hwaanorarama, anoraramira Mwari.
11 In the same way, consider yourselves dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.
Nenzira imwe cheteyo, nemiwo munofanira kuziva kuti makafa kuchivi, asi muri vapenyu kuna Mwari muna Kristu Jesu.
12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.
Naizvozvo musatendera chivi kuti chibate ushe mumuviri wenyu unofa, kuti muteerere kuchiva kwacho.
13 Neither present your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God, as alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.
Musapa mitezo yomuviri wenyu kuchivi, kuti ive nhumbi dzokuita zvisakarurama, asi zvipei kuna Mwari, savaya vakabviswa kurufu vachiiswa kuupenyu; uye ipai mitezo yomuviri wenyu kwaari ive nhumbi dzokururama.
14 For sin will not have dominion over you. For you are not under law, but under grace.
Nokuti chivi hachichazovi nesimba pamusoro penyu, nokuti hamusi pasi pomurayiro, asi pasi penyasha.
15 What then? Should we sin because we are not under law, but under grace? Absolutely not.
Zvino tichatiiko? Titadze here nokuti hatisi pasi pomurayiro asi pasi penyasha. Kwete napaduku pose!
16 Do you not know that when you present yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, whether of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness?
Hamuzivi here kuti kana mukazvipa kuno mumwe munhu kuti mumuteerere savaranda, muri varanda kuno uyo wamunoteerera, mungava varanda vechivi, chinoendesa kurufu kana vokuteerera, kunoendesa kukururama?
17 But thanks be to God, that, whereas you were slaves of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were entrusted.
Asi Mwari ngaavongwe nokuti, kunyange zvenyu maimbova varanda vechivi, makateerera nomwoyo wenyu wose kurudzi rwedzidziso yamakanga mapiwa.
18 Being made free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.
Makasunungurwa kubva kuchivi uye mava varanda vokururama.
19 I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh, for as you presented your members as slaves to uncleanness and to wickedness upon wickedness, even so now present your members as slaves to righteousness for sanctification.
Ndinotaura izvi nokutaura kwavanhu nokuda kwokushayiwa simba kwenyama yenyu. Sezvamaingopa mitezo yemiviri yenyu kuuranda hwokusachena uye nokuipa kunoramba kuchingowanda, saka zvino ipei kuuranda hwokururama hunoendesa kuutsvene.
20 For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness.
Pamakanga muri varanda vechivi, makanga makasununguka kubva pakutonga kwakarurama.
21 What fruit then did you have at that time in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.
Zvino makawaneiko panguva iyoyo kubva pazvinhu zvamunonyadziswa nazvo, iye zvino? Nokuti kuguma kwazvo ndirwo rufu!
22 But now, being made free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit of sanctification, and the result of everlasting life. (aiōnios )
Asi zvino makasunungurwa kubva kuchivi uye mava varanda vaMwari, zvibereko zvamunokohwa zvinoisa kuutsvene, uye kuguma kwazvo ndihwo upenyu husingaperi muna Kristu Jesu Ishe wedu. (aiōnios )
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is everlasting life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (aiōnios )
Nokuti mubayiro wechivi ndirwo rufu, asi chipo chaMwari chokungopiwa ndihwo upenyu husingaperi muna Kristu Jesu Ishe wedu. (aiōnios )
