Romans 12
1 Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
Así que, hermanos, os ruego por las misericordias de Dios que presentéis vuestros cuerpos en sacrificio vivo, santo, agradable a Dios, que es vuestro culto racional.
2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. (aiōn g165)
Y no os conforméis a este siglo; mas transformáos por la renovación de vuestro entendimiento, para que experimentéis cual sea la voluntad de Dios, la buena, agradable y perfecta. (aiōn g165)
3 For I say, through the grace that was given me, to everyone among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.
Digo pues, por la gracia que me es dada, a cada uno de los que están entre vosotros, que no piense de si mismo más elevadamente de lo que debe pensar; sino que piense discretamente, cada uno conforme a la medida de fe que Dios le repartió.
4 For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members do not have the same function,
Porque de la manera que en un cuerpo tenemos muchos miembros, empero todos los miembros no tienen el mismo oficio:
5 so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
Así nosotros siendo muchos, somos un mismo cuerpo en Cristo, y cada uno, miembros los unos de los otros.
6 And we have different gifts according to the grace that was given to us. If prophecy, according to the proportion of the faith;
De manera que teniendo diferentes dones según la gracia que nos es dada, si de profecía, sea conforme a la medida de la fe;
7 if service, in the service; if teaching, in the teaching;
O si de ministerio, en servir; o el que enseña, en enseñar;
8 if exhorting, in exhortation; giving, in generosity; leading, in diligence; showing mercy, in cheerfulness.
O el que exhorta, en exhortar; el que reparte, hágalo en simplicidad; el que preside, en solicitud; el que hace misericordia, en alegría.
9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good.
El amor sea sin fingimiento: aborreciendo lo malo, llegándoos a lo bueno.
10 In love of the brothers be tenderly affectionate one to another; outdo one another in showing honor;
Amándoos los unos a los otros con amor de hermanos; en la honra prefiriéndoos los unos a los otros.
11 not lagging in diligence; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
En los quehaceres no perezosos: ardientes en espíritu: sirviendo al Señor:
12 rejoicing in hope; enduring in troubles; continuing steadfastly in prayer;
Gozosos en la esperanza: sufridos en la tribulación: constantes en la oración:
13 contributing to the needs of the saints; given to hospitality.
Comunicando a las necesidades de los santos: siguiendo la hospitalidad.
14 Bless those who persecute you; bless, and do not curse.
Bendecíd a los que os persiguen: bendecíd, y no maldigáis.
15 Rejoice with those who rejoice. Weep with those who weep.
Regocijáos con los que se regocijan; y llorád con los que lloran.
16 Live in harmony with one another. Do not be arrogant, but associate with the humble. Do not be conceited.
Sed entre vosotros de un mismo ánimo: no altivos, mas acomodándoos a los humildes: no seáis sabios acerca de vosotros mismos.
17 Repay no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all people.
No paguéis a nadie mal por mal: aplicándoos a hacer lo bueno delante de todos los hombres.
18 If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all people.
Si se puede hacer, en cuanto es en vosotros, tenéd paz con todos los hombres.
19 Do not seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but leave room for the wrath. For it is written, "Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord."
No os venguéis a vosotros mismos, amados; antes, mas bien, dad lugar a la ira; porque escrito está: Mía es la venganza: yo pagaré, dice el Señor.
20 Therefore "If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for by doing this you will heap coals of fire on his head."
Así que si tu enemigo tuviere hambre, dále de comer: si tuviere sed, dále de beber: que en haciendo esto, ascuas de fuego amontonarás sobre su cabeza.
21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
No seas vencido de lo malo; antes vence con bien el mal.
