< Romans 1 >

1 Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle, set apart for the Good News of God,
ⲁ̅ⲡⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲡϩⲙ̅ϩⲁⲗ ⲛ̅ⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲉⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲉⲧⲧⲁϩⲙ̅ ⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁⲩⲡⲟⲣϫϥ̅ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉⲡⲉⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲓⲟⲛ ⲙ̅ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ.
2 which he promised before through his prophets in the holy Scriptures,
ⲃ̅ⲡⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲛⲧⲁϥϣⲣⲡ̅ⲉⲣⲏⲧ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉϥⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ ϩⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲅⲣⲁⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ
3 concerning his Son, who was born of the offspring of David according to the flesh,
ⲅ̅ⲉⲧⲃⲉⲡⲉϥϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲛⲧⲁϥϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲥⲡⲉⲣⲙⲁ ⲛ̅ⲇⲁⲩⲉⲓⲇ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲥⲁⲣⲝ.
4 who was declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord,
ⲇ̅ⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁⲩⲧⲟϣϥ̅ ⲛ̅ϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ϩⲛ̅ⲧϭⲟⲙ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲡⲉⲡ̅ⲛ̅ⲁ̅ ⲙ̅ⲡⲧⲃ̅ⲃⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙ̅ⲡⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲧⲙⲟⲟⲩⲧ ⲛ̅ⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲉⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲉⲛϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ.
5 through whom we received grace and the office of apostle, for obedience of faith among all the nations, for his name's sake;
ⲉ̅ⲡⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲛⲧⲁⲛϫⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲭⲁⲣⲓⲥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲟⲧϥ̅ ⲙⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲙⲛ̅ⲧⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲉⲡⲥⲱⲧⲙ̅ ⲛ̅ⲧⲡⲓⲥⲧⲓⲥ ϩⲛ̅ⲛ̅ϩⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ϩⲁⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲛ
6 among whom you are also called to belong to Jesus Christ;
ⲋ̅ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲏⲡ ϩⲛ̅ⲛⲁⲓ̈ ϩⲱⲧⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ̅ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲧⲁϩⲙ̅ ϩⲛ̅ⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲉⲭ̅ⲥ̅
7 to all who are in Rome, loved by God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
ⲍ̅ⲛⲉⲧϩⲛ̅ϩⲣⲱⲙⲏ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲙ̅ⲙⲉⲣⲓⲧ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲛⲉⲧⲧⲁϩⲙ̅ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ. ⲧⲉⲭⲁⲣⲓⲥ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ̅ ⲙⲛ̅ϯⲣⲏⲛⲏ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲙ̅ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲡⲉⲛⲉⲓⲱⲧ ⲙⲛ̅ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲉⲭ̅ⲥ̅·
8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is proclaimed throughout the whole world.
ⲏ̅ϣⲟⲣⲡ̅ ⲙⲉⲛ ϯϣⲡ̅ϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲛⲧⲙ̅ⲡⲁⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ϩⲓⲧⲛ̅ⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲉⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲉⲧⲃⲉⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ̅ ⲧⲏⲣⲧⲛ̅ ϫⲉ ⲥⲉϯⲥⲟⲉⲓⲧ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲡⲓⲥⲧⲓⲥ ϩⲙ̅ⲡⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣϥ̅·
9 For God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the Good News of his Son, how I constantly mention you
ⲑ̅ⲡⲁⲙⲛ̅ⲧⲣⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ̈ ⲉϯϣⲙ̅ϣⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ϩⲙ̅ⲡⲁⲡ̅ⲛ̅ⲁ̅ ϩⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲓⲟⲛ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉϥϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲛ̅ⲑⲉ ⲁϫⲛ̅ⲱϫⲛ̅ ⲉⲓ̈ⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲙⲉⲉⲩⲉ
10 always in my prayers, requesting, if by any means now at last I may succeed by the will of God to come to you.
ⲓ̅ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲟⲉⲓϣ ⲛⲓⲙ ϩⲛ̅ⲛⲁϣⲗⲏⲗ ⲉⲓ̈ⲥⲟⲡⲥ̅ ϫⲉ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲁϩⲓⲏ ⲥⲟⲟⲩⲧⲛ̅ ϩⲙ̅ⲡⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲙ̅ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲉⲓ ϣⲁⲣⲱⲧⲛ̅.
11 For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you;
ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ϯⲟⲩⲉϣⲛⲁⲩ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲛ̅ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉⲓ̈ⲉϯ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ̅ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲙ̅ⲡ̅ⲛ̅ⲁ̅ⲧⲓⲕⲟⲛ ⲉⲡⲧⲁϫⲣⲉⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ̅.
12 that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith, both yours and mine.
ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ⲡⲁⲓ̈ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲛⲥⲗ̅ⲥⲗ̅ⲛⲉⲛⲉⲣⲏⲩ ⲛ̅ϩⲏⲧⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ̅ ϩⲓⲧⲛ̅ⲧⲡⲓⲥⲧⲓⲥ ⲉⲧϩⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲛⲉⲣⲏⲩ ⲧⲱⲧⲛ̅ ⲙⲛ̅ⲧⲱⲓ̈·
13 Now I do not desire to have you unaware, brothers, that I often planned to come to you, and was hindered so far, that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among the other non-Jewish people.
ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ϯⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲉⲓⲙⲉ ⲛⲁⲥⲛⲏⲩ ϫⲉ ⲁⲓ̈ⲕⲁⲁⲥ ϩⲁⲉⲓⲁⲧ ⲛ̅ϩⲁϩ ⲛ̅ⲥⲟⲡ ⲉⲉⲓ ϣⲁⲣⲱⲧⲛ̅. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩⲕⲱⲗⲩ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲓ̈ ϣⲁⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩ. ϫⲉⲕⲁⲁⲥ ⲉⲓ̈ⲉϫⲡⲟ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲕⲁⲣⲡⲟⲥ ⲛ̅ϩⲏⲧⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ̅. ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲑⲉ ϩⲙ̅ⲡⲕⲉϣⲱϫⲡ̅ ⲛ̅ϩⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ.
14 I have an obligation both to Greeks and to barbarians, both to the wise and to the foolish.
ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ⲛ̅ϩⲉⲗⲗⲏⲛ ⲙⲛ̅ⲛ̅ⲃⲁⲣⲃⲁⲣⲟⲥ. ⲛ̅ⲥⲟⲫⲟⲥ ⲙⲛ̅ⲛ̅ⲁⲑⲏⲧ ⲉⲩⲛ̅ⲧⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ̈.
15 So, for my part, I am eager to preach the Good News to you also who are in Rome.
ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ⲧⲁⲓ̈ ⲧⲉ ⲑⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲟⲩⲣⲟⲧ ⲉⲧⲛⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲉⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲓⲍⲉ ϩⲱⲧⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ̅ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ̅ ⲛⲉⲧϩⲛ̅ϩⲣⲱⲙⲏ·
16 For I am not ashamed of the Good News, for it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes; for the Jew first, and also for the Greek.
ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ⲛ̅ϯϯϣⲓⲡⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲛ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲓⲟⲛ. ⲟⲩϭⲟⲙ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲩⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ̈ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉⲧⲡⲓⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲛ̅ⲓ̈ⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ̈ ⲙⲛ̅ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲉⲓ̈ⲉⲛⲓⲛ.
17 For in it is revealed God's righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, "But the righteous will live by faith."
ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ⲧⲇⲓⲕⲁⲓⲟⲥⲩⲛⲏ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲙ̅ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲛⲁϭⲱⲗⲡ̅ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̅ϩⲏⲧϥ̅ ϩⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲡⲓⲥⲧⲓⲥ ⲉⲩⲡⲓⲥⲧⲓⲥ. ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲑⲉ ⲉⲧⲥⲏϩ ϫⲉ ⲉⲣⲉⲡⲇⲓⲕⲁⲓⲟⲥ ⲛⲁⲱⲛϩ̅ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ̅ⲧⲡⲓⲥⲧⲓⲥ.
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of people, who suppress the truth by unrighteousness,
ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ⲧⲟⲣⲅⲏ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲙ̅ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲛⲁϭⲱⲗⲡ̅ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ̅ⲧⲡⲉ ⲉϫⲙ̅ⲙⲛ̅ⲧϣⲁϥⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡϫⲓ ⲛ̅ϭⲟⲛⲥ̅ ⲛ̅ⲛ̅ⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲛⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲧⲁⲙⲁϩⲧⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲙⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ϩⲛ̅ⲟⲩϫⲓ ⲛ̅ϭⲟⲛⲥ̅
19 because what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them.
ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ϫⲉ ⲡⲥⲟⲟⲩⲛ ⲙ̅ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛϩ̅ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϩⲏⲧⲟⲩ. ⲁⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲟⲩⲟⲛϩϥ̅ ⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ.
20 For since the creation of the world his invisible attributes, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made. So they are without excuse. (aïdios g126)
ⲕ̅ⲛⲉϥⲡⲉⲑⲏⲡ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲑⲟⲗ ϩⲙ̅ⲡⲥⲱⲛⲧ̅ ⲙ̅ⲡⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ. ϩⲛ̅ⲛⲉϥⲧⲁⲙⲓⲟ ⲉⲩⲛⲟⲓ̈ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉϥϭⲟⲙ ⲧⲉ ⲛ̅ϣⲁⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲙⲛ̅ⲧⲉϥⲙⲛ̅ⲧⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ. ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲩϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲉⲙⲛ̅ⲧⲟⲩϣⲁϫⲉ ⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲩ ⲉϫⲱ. (aïdios g126)
21 Because, although they knew God, they did not glorify him as God or give him thanks, but their thinking became nonsense, and their foolish heart was darkened.
ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ϫⲉ ⲁⲩⲥⲟⲩⲛ̅ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲟⲩϯⲉⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥ ϩⲱⲥ ⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲙ̅ⲡⲟⲩϣⲡ̅ϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲁⲩⲣⲡⲉⲧϣⲟⲩⲉⲓⲧ ϩⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲩⲙⲉⲉⲩⲉ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲡⲉⲩϩⲏⲧ ⲛ̅ⲁⲧⲥⲃⲱ ⲣ̅ⲕⲁⲕⲉ ⲉⲣⲟⲟⲩ.
22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools,
ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲛϩⲉⲛⲥⲁⲃⲉ ⲁⲩⲣ̅ⲥⲟϭ.
23 and traded the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal humans, and of birds, and four-footed animals, and crawling creatures.
ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ⲁⲩϣⲓⲃⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲟⲟⲩ ⲙ̅ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲛ̅ⲁⲧⲧⲁⲕⲟ ϩⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲉⲓⲛⲉ ⲛ̅ϩⲓⲕⲱⲛ ⲛ̅ⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲉϣⲁϥⲧⲁⲕⲟ ϩⲓϩⲁⲗⲏⲧ ϩⲓⲧⲃ̅ⲛⲏ. ϩⲓϫⲁⲧϥⲉ·
24 Therefore God also abandoned them in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the degrading of their bodies among themselves,
ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ⲉⲧⲃⲉⲡⲁⲓ̈ ⲁⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲧⲁⲁⲩ ϩⲛ̅ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲩϩⲏⲧ ⲉⲩⲁⲕⲁⲑⲁⲣⲥⲓⲁ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲩⲥⲱϣ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲩⲥⲱⲙⲁ ϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲛ̅ϩⲏⲧⲟⲩ.
25 who exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creation rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
ⲕ̅ⲉ̅ⲛⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲛⲧⲁⲩϣⲓⲃⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲙⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ϩⲙ̅ⲡϭⲟⲗ. ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ̅. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩϣⲙ̅ϣⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲥⲱⲛⲧ̅ ⲡⲁⲣⲁⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁϥⲥⲱⲛⲧ ⲡⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲧⲥⲙⲁⲙⲁⲁⲧ ϣⲁⲛⲓⲉⲛⲉϩ ϩⲁⲙⲏⲛ· (aiōn g165)
26 For this reason, God abandoned them to their degrading passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for that which is contrary to nature.
ⲕ̅ⲋ̅ⲉⲧⲃⲉⲡⲁⲓ̈ ⲁⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲧⲁⲁⲩ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲉϩⲉⲛⲡⲁⲑⲟⲥ ⲉⲩⲥⲏϣ. ⲉⲓⲧⲉ ⲡⲁⲣ ⲛⲉⲩϩⲓⲟⲙⲉ ⲁⲩϣⲓⲃⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡϩⲱⲃ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲩⲫⲩⲥⲓⲥ ⲉⲩⲡⲁⲣⲁⲧⲉⲩⲫⲩⲥⲓⲥ.
27 Likewise also the men, giving up natural relations with women, burned in their lust toward one another, men with men, committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error.
ⲕ̅ⲍ̅ϩⲟⲙⲟⲓⲱⲥ ⲛⲉⲩⲕⲉϩⲟⲟⲩⲧ ⲁⲩⲕⲱ ⲛ̅ⲥⲱⲟⲩ ⲙ̅ⲡϩⲱⲃ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲫⲩⲥⲓⲥ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲥϩⲓⲙⲉ ⲁⲩⲙⲟⲩϩ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲩⲙⲉ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲛⲉⲩⲉⲣⲏⲩ. ϩⲉⲛϩⲟⲟⲩⲧ ⲙⲛ̅ϩⲉⲛϩⲟⲟⲩⲧ ⲉⲩⲣ̅ϩⲱⲃ ⲉⲧⲁⲥⲭⲩⲙⲟⲥⲩⲛⲏ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲧϣⲃ̅ⲉⲓⲱ ⲙ̅ⲡⲃⲉⲕⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲩⲡⲗⲁⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲉϣϣⲉ ⲉⲩϫⲉⲓ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟϥ ϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲛ̅ϩⲏⲧⲟⲩ.
28 Even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God abandoned them to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not right;
ⲕ̅ⲏ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲑⲉ ⲉⲧⲉⲙ̅ⲡⲟⲩⲇⲟⲕⲓⲙⲁⲍⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲕⲁⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲩ ϩⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲥⲟⲟⲩⲛ. ⲁⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲧⲁⲁⲩ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲩϩⲏⲧ ⲛ̅ϫⲟⲟⲩⲧ ⲉⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲙⲉϣϣⲉ.
29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil habits, secret slanderers,
ⲕ̅ⲑ̅ⲉⲩϫⲏⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̅ϫⲓ ⲛ̅ϭⲟⲛⲥ̅ ⲛⲓⲙ. ϩⲓⲕⲁⲕⲓⲁ. ϩⲓⲡⲟⲛⲏⲣⲓⲁ ϩⲓⲙⲁⲓ̈ⲧⲟ ⲛ̅ϩⲟⲩⲟ. ⲉⲩⲙⲉϩ ⲛ̅ⲗⲁ ϩⲓϩⲱⲧⲃ̅. ϩⲓϯⲧⲱⲛ. ϩⲓⲕⲣⲟϥ. ⲛ̅ϩⲏⲧ ⲉϥϩⲟⲟⲩ.
30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
ⲗ̅ⲛ̅ⲣⲉϥⲕⲁⲥⲕⲥ̅. ⲛ̅ⲣⲉϥⲕⲁⲧⲁⲗⲁⲗⲉⲓ ⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲥⲧ̅ⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ. ⲛ̅ⲣⲉϥⲥⲱϣ. ⲛ̅ϫⲁⲥⲓϩⲏⲧ. ⲛ̅ⲃⲁⲃⲉⲣⲱⲙⲉ. ⲛ̅ⲣⲉϥⲕⲱⲧⲉ ⲛ̅ⲥⲁⲡ̅ⲡⲉⲑⲟⲟⲩ. ⲉⲛⲥⲉⲥⲱⲧⲙ̅ ⲁⲛ ⲛ̅ⲥⲁⲛⲉⲩⲉⲓⲟⲧⲉ.
31 foolish, promise-breakers, heartless, unforgiving, unmerciful;
ⲗ̅ⲁ̅ⲛ̅ⲁⲑⲏⲧ. ⲛ̅ⲁⲧⲛⲁϩⲧⲉ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲁϩⲓⲏⲧ ⲛ̅ⲁⲧⲛⲁ
32 who, knowing the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but also approve of those who practice them.
ⲗ̅ⲃ̅ⲛⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲧⲥⲟⲟⲩⲛ ⲙ̅ⲡⲇⲓⲕⲁⲓⲱⲙⲁ ⲙ̅ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ. ϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲛ̅ⲛⲁⲓ̈ ⲥⲉⲙ̅ⲡϣⲁ ⲙ̅ⲡⲙⲟⲩ. ⲟⲩⲙⲟⲛⲟⲛ ⲥⲉⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲟⲩ. ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲥⲉⲥⲩⲛⲉⲩⲇⲟⲕⲓ ⲟⲛ ⲙⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲟⲩ·
