Revelation 16
1 I heard a loud voice out of the temple, saying to the seven angels, "Go and pour out the seven bowls of the wrath of God on the earth."
பின்பு நான், ஆலயத்திலிருந்து ஒரு சத்தமான குரலைக் கேட்டேன். அது அந்த ஏழு இறைத்தூதர்களிடம், “போங்கள், இறைவனுடைய கோபத்தின் ஏழு கிண்ணங்களையும் பூமியின்மேல் ஊற்றுங்கள்” என்று சொன்னது.
2 The first went, and poured out his bowl into the earth, and it became a harmful and evil sore on the people who had the mark of the beast, and who worshiped his image.
முதலாவது இறைத்தூதன் போய், தனது கிண்ணத்திலுள்ளதைத் தரையின்மேல் ஊற்றினான். அப்பொழுது மிருகத்தின் அடையாளம் உள்ளவர்கள்மேலும், அதன் உருவச்சிலையை வணங்கியவர்கள்மேலும், வேதனை உண்டாக்கும் கொடிய புண்கள் ஏற்பட்டன.
3 The second one poured out his bowl into the sea, and it became blood as of a corpse. And every living thing in the sea died.
இரண்டாவது இறைத்தூதன், தனது கிண்ணத்திலுள்ளதைக் கடலின்மேல் ஊற்றினான். அது இறந்துபோன மனிதனுடைய இரத்தத்தைப்போல் மாறியது. அப்பொழுது கடலிலுள்ள எல்லா உயிரினங்களும் செத்துப்போயின.
4 The third poured out his bowl into the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood.
மூன்றாவது இறைத்தூதன், தனது கிண்ணத்திலுள்ளதை ஆறுகளின்மேலும், நீரூற்றுகளின்மேலும் ஊற்றினான்; அவை இரத்தமாகின.
5 I heard the angel of the waters saying, "You are righteous, who is and who was, the Holy One, because you have judged these things.
பின்பு தண்ணீர்களுக்குப் பொறுப்பாயிருந்த இறைத்தூதன் இப்படியாக சொன்னதைக் கேட்டேன். அவன்: “இருக்கிறவரும் இருந்தவருமான பரிசுத்தரே, இந்த நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளில் நீர் நியாயமானவராய் இருந்திருக்கிறீர்; ஏனெனில், நீர் நியாயந்தீர்க்க நீதியுள்ளவராய் இருக்கிறீர்;
6 For they poured out the blood of the saints and the prophets, and you have given them blood to drink. They deserve this."
இவர்கள் உமது பரிசுத்தவான்களுடைய இரத்தத்தையும், இறைவாக்கினரின் இரத்தத்தையும் சிந்தினார்கள்; எனவே, நீர் அவர்களுக்கு இரத்தத்தைக் குடிக்கக் கொடுத்தது அவர்களுக்கு ஏற்ற தண்டனையே” என்றான்.
7 I heard the altar saying, "Yes, Lord God of hosts, true and righteous are your judgments."
அப்பொழுது பலிபீடத்திலிருந்து: “ஆம், எல்லாம் வல்ல இறைவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, உமது நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகள் சத்தியமும் நீதியுமானவை” என்று பதில் வருவதைக் கேட்டேன்.
8 The fourth poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was given to him to scorch people with fire.
நான்காவது இறைத்தூதன் தனது கிண்ணத்திலுள்ளதை சூரியனின்மேல் ஊற்றினான். அப்பொழுது சூரியனுக்கு மனிதரை நெருப்பினால் சுட்டெரிக்கும் வல்லமை கொடுக்கப்பட்டது.
9 People were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has the power over these plagues. They did not repent and give him glory.
அந்தக் கடும் வெப்பத்தினால் மக்கள் பொசுங்கினார்கள். அப்பொழுது இந்த வாதைகளின்மேல் அதிகாரமுள்ள இறைவனின் பெயரை அவர்கள் சபித்தார்களேதவிர, அவர்கள் மனந்திரும்பவும் இறைவனுக்கு மகிமையைச் செலுத்தவும் மறுத்தார்கள்.
10 The fifth poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom was darkened. They gnawed their tongues because of the pain,
ஐந்தாவது இறைத்தூதன் தனது கிண்ணத்திலுள்ளதை மிருகத்தின்மேலும், அதன் அரியணையின்மேலும் ஊற்றினான். அப்பொழுது அவனுடைய அரசு இருளில் மூழ்கியது. வேதனையினால் மனிதர்களின் நாவுகளைக் கடித்துக்கொண்டார்கள்.
11 and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores. They did not repent of their works.
அவர்கள் தங்களுடைய வேதனைகளினாலும், அவர்களின் புண்களினாலும் பரலோகத்தின் இறைவனை சபித்தார்களேதவிர, தாங்கள் செய்ததைவிட்டு மனந்திரும்ப மறுத்தார்கள்.
12 The sixth poured out his bowl on the great river, the Euphrates. Its water was dried up, that the way might be made ready for the kings that come from the sunrise.
ஆறாவது இறைத்தூதன் தனது கிண்ணத்தில் உள்ளதை, ஐபிராத்து எனப்பட்ட பெரிய ஆற்றின்மேல் ஊற்றினான். அப்பொழுது கிழக்கிலிருந்து வரும் அரசருக்கு வழியை ஏற்படுத்தும்படி அந்த ஆற்றின் தண்ணீர் வற்றிப்போயிற்று.
13 I saw coming out of the mouth of the serpent, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits, something like frogs;
அதற்குப் பின்பு நான், மூன்று தீய ஆவிகள் வெளிவரக் கண்டேன். அவை தவளைகளைப்போல் காணப்பட்டன; அவை அந்த இராட்சதப் பாம்பின் வாயிலிருந்தும், மிருகத்தின் வாயிலிருந்தும், அந்தப் பொய் தீர்க்கதரிசியின் வாயிலிருந்தும் வெளியே வந்தன.
14 for they are spirits of demons, performing signs; which go forth to the kings of the whole inhabited earth, to gather them together for the war of the great day of God the Almighty.
அவை அற்புத அடையாளங்களைச் செய்துகாட்டும் பிசாசுகளின் ஆவிகள்; அவை உலகம் முழுவதிலுமுள்ள அரசர்களிடம் புறப்பட்டுச்சென்றன. எல்லாம் வல்ல இறைவனுடைய அந்த மகாநாளில், அவருக்கு எதிராக நடக்கப்போகும் யுத்தத்திற்காக, அவர்களை ஒன்றுசேர்க்கும்படியே அவை சென்றன.
15 "Look, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his clothes, so that he does not walk naked, and they see his shame."
கர்த்தர் சொன்னதாவது, “இதோ, நான் திருடனைப்போல் வருகிறேன்! விழிப்புள்ளவனாய் இருந்து, தனது உடைகளை ஆயத்தமாய் வைத்திருக்கிறவன் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவன். அப்பொழுது அவன் நிர்வாணமாய் வெளியேப்போய், பகிரங்கமாய் வெட்கத்திற்குட்படமாட்டான்.”
16 He gathered them together into the place which is called in Hebrew, Har Megiddo.
பின்பு அந்த அற்புத அடையாளங்களைச் செய்யும் ஆவிகள், அரசர்களை ஒன்றாகக் கூட்டிச் சேர்த்துக்கொண்டு, எபிரெய மொழியிலே அர்மகெதோன் என்று அழைக்கப்படும் இடத்திற்கு வந்தன.
17 The seventh poured out his bowl into the air. A loud voice came forth out of the temple, from the throne, saying, "It is done."
ஏழாவது இறைத்தூதன் தனது கிண்ணத்திலுள்ளதை ஆகாயத்திலே ஊற்றினான். அப்பொழுது ஆலயத்திலிருந்து ஒரு சத்தமான குரல், “செய்தாயிற்று!” என்று அரியணையிலிருந்து கூறியது.
18 There were lightnings, voices, and peals of thunder; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since man was on the earth, so great an earthquake, so mighty.
அப்பொழுது மின்னல்களும், பேரிரைச்சல்களும், இடிமுழக்கங்களும், பெரிய பூமியதிர்ச்சியும் ஏற்பட்டன. மனிதர் பூமியில் உண்டான நாளிலிருந்து, அதுபோன்ற பூமியதிர்ச்சி ஒருபோதும் ஏற்பட்டதில்லை. அவ்வளவு பலமாய் அந்தப் பூமியதிர்ச்சி இருந்தது.
19 The great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. Babylon the great was remembered in the sight of God, to give to her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
மகா நகரமான பாபிலோன், மூன்று பகுதிகளாகப் பிளந்தன. உலக நாடுகளின் நகரங்கள் இடிந்து விழுந்தன. மகா பாபிலோனை இறைவன் மறந்துவிட, இவ்வாறு அவர் தமது கடுங்கோபத்தின் கிண்ணத்திலே, தனது கோபத்தின் திராட்சை மதுவை நிரப்பி அவளுக்குக் கொடுத்தார்.
20 Every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
தீவுகளெல்லாம் மறைந்துபோயிற்று; மலைகள் காணப்படாமற்போயிற்று.
21 Great hailstones, about one hundred pounds each, came down out of the sky on people. People blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, for this plague is exceedingly severe.
வானத்திலிருந்து பெரும் கல்மழை மனிதர்மேல் விழுந்தது. அதன் கல் ஒவ்வொன்றும் நாற்பத்தைந்து கிலோ நிறையுடையதாய் இருந்தது. அப்பொழுது மனிதர், அந்தக் கல்மழையின் வாதையினிமித்தம் இறைவனைச் சபித்தார்கள்; ஏனெனில், அந்த வாதை மிகவும் கொடியதாக இருந்தது.
