< Psalms 95 >
1 Oh come, let's sing to YHWH. Let's shout aloud to the rock of our salvation.
Haʻu, ketau hiva kia Sihova: ketau kalanga ʻi he fiefia ki he maka ʻo ʻetau moʻui.
2 Let's come before his presence with thanksgiving. Let's extol him with songs.
Ketau haʻu ki hono ʻao mo e fakafetaʻi, mo kalanga ʻi he fiefia kiate ia ʻaki ʻae ngaahi saame.
3 For YHWH is a great God, a great King above all gods.
He ko Sihova ko e ʻOtua lahi, pea ko e Tuʻi lahi hake ia ʻi he ngaahi ʻotua kotoa pē.
4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth. The heights of the mountains are also his.
ʻOku ʻi hono nima ʻae ngaahi potu māʻulalo ʻo māmani: ko e mālohi ʻoe ngaahi moʻunga ʻoku ʻoʻona foki.
5 The sea is his, and he made it. His hands formed the dry land.
ʻOku ʻoʻona ʻae tahi, he naʻa ne ngaohi ia: pea naʻe ngaohi ʻe hono nima ʻae fonua mōmoa.
6 Oh come, let's worship and bow down. Let's kneel before YHWH, our Maker,
Haʻu, ketau lotu mo punou: ketau tūʻulutui ʻi he ʻao ʻo Sihova ko hotau tupuʻanga.
7 for he is our God. We are the people of his pasture, and the sheep in his care. Today, if you would hear his voice.
He ko hotau ʻOtua ia; pea ko e kakai ʻakitautolu ʻo ʻene ngoue, mo e fanga sipi ʻa hono nima. Ko e ʻaho ni, ʻo kapau te mou fanongo ki hono leʻo,
8 Do not harden your heart, as at Meribah, as in the day of Massah in the wilderness,
“ʻOua naʻa mou fakafefeka homou loto, ʻo hangē ko ia ʻi he fakahouhau lahi, pea ʻi he ʻaho ʻoe ʻahiʻahi ʻi he toafa:
9 when your fathers tempted me, tested me, and saw my work.
ʻAia naʻe ʻahiʻahiʻi au ʻe hoʻomou ngaahi tamai, pea nau ʻahiʻahi kiate au, ʻonau mamata ki heʻeku ngāue.
10 For forty years I loathed that generation, and said, "It is a people who go astray in their heart, and they do not know my ways."
Naʻaku fehiʻa ki he toʻutangata ko ia ʻi he taʻu ʻe fāngofulu, pea naʻaku pehē, ‘Ko e kakai eni ʻoku hē ʻi honau loto, pea ʻoku ʻikai te nau ʻilo hoku ngaahi hala:
11 Therefore I swore in my wrath, "They won't enter into my rest."
Pea ne u fuakava kiate kinautolu ʻi hoku houhau, ‘ʻE ʻikai tenau hū ki hoku mālōlōʻanga.’”
