Psalms 95

1 Oh come, let's sing to YHWH. Let's shout aloud to the rock of our salvation.

Kommet, laßt uns Jehovah lobpreisen, lasset uns aufjauchzen dem Felsen unseres Heils.

2 Let's come before his presence with thanksgiving. Let's extol him with songs.

Laßt uns mit Bekennen vor Sein Angesicht kommen, laßt uns Ihm aufjauchzen mit Psalmen.

3 For YHWH is a great God, a great King above all gods.

Denn ein großer Gott ist Jehovah, und ein großer König über alle Götter.

4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth. The heights of the mountains are also his.

In Dessen Hand sind der Erde Ergründungen, und Dessen sind der Berge Kräfte.

5 The sea is his, and he made it. His hands formed the dry land.

Dessen ist das Meer und Er hat es gemacht, und das Trockene, das Seine Hände bildeten.

6 Oh come, let's worship and bow down. Let's kneel before YHWH, our Maker,

Kommt, laßt uns anbeten und uns beugen und knien vor Jehovah, Der uns gemacht.

7 for he is our God. We are the people of his pasture, and the sheep in his care. Today, if you would hear his voice.

Denn Er ist unser Gott und wir sind Seiner Weide Volk, und die Schafe Seiner Hand, diesen Tag, wenn ihr auf Seine Stimme hört,

8 Do not harden your heart, as at Meribah, as in the day of Massah in the wilderness,

Verhärtet nicht euer Herz, wie in Meribah, wie am Tage Massahs in der Wüste;

9 when your fathers tempted me, tested me, and saw my work.

Wo eure Väter Mich versuchten, Mich prüften, auch Mein Werk sahen.

10 For forty years I loathed that generation, and said, "It is a people who go astray in their heart, and they do not know my ways."

Vierzig Jahre hatte Ich Verdruß an dem Geschlecht, und Ich sprach: Es ist ein Volk, das irren Herzens ist, und sie erkennen Meine Wege nicht.

11 Therefore I swore in my wrath, "They won't enter into my rest."

Denen Ich in Meinem Zorn schwur: Sie sollen nicht eingehen zu Meiner Ruhe.
