1 [For the Chief Musician. On an instrument of Gath. A Psalm by the sons of Korah.] How lovely are your dwellings, YHWH of hosts.
in finem pro torcularibus filiis Core psalmus quam dilecta tabernacula tua Domine virtutum
2 My soul longs, yes, yearns for the courts of YHWH. My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.
concupiscit et defecit anima mea in atria Domini cor meum et caro mea exultavit in Deum vivum
3 Yes, the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young, near your altars, YHWH of hosts, my King, and my God.
etenim passer invenit sibi domum et turtur nidum sibi ubi ponat pullos suos altaria tua Domine virtutum rex meus et Deus meus

quia melior est dies una in atriis tuis super milia elegi abiectus esse in domo Dei mei magis quam habitare in tabernaculis peccatorum
11 For YHWH God is a sun and a shield. YHWH will give grace and glory. He withholds no good thing from those who walk blamelessly.
quia misericordiam et veritatem diligit Deus gratiam et gloriam dabit Dominus
12 YHWH of hosts, blessed is the man who trusts in you.
