< Psalms 77 >
1 [For the Chief Musician. To Jeduthun. A Psalm by Asaph.] My cry goes to God. Indeed, I cry to God for help, and for him to listen to me.
Thaburi ya Asafu Ndakaĩire Ngai andeithie; ndakaĩire Ngai nĩguo anjigue.
2 In the day of my trouble I sought YHWH. My hand was stretched out in the night, and did not get tired. My soul refused to be comforted.
Rĩrĩa ndaarĩ mĩnyamaro-inĩ, nĩ Mwathani ndarongoririe; ũtukũ ndamwambararĩirie moko itekũnoga, no muoyo wakwa ũkĩrega kũhoorerio.
3 I remember God, and I groan. I complain, and my spirit is overwhelmed. (Selah)
Wee Ngai, ndakũririkanire ngĩcaaya; ndataranirie maũndũ, naguo roho wakwa ũkĩringĩka.
4 You hold my eyelids open. I am so troubled that I can't speak.
Wee watũmire njũrwo nĩ toro, ngĩthĩĩnĩka mũno, ngĩremwo nĩ kwaria.
5 I have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times.
Ndeciiririe ũhoro wa matukũ ma tene, ngĩririkana mĩaka o ĩrĩa yarĩ ya tene;
6 I remember my song in the night. I consider in my own heart; my spirit diligently inquires:
ngĩkĩĩririkania ũrĩa ndainaga ũtukũ, ngoro yakwa ĩgĩtarania maũndũ, naguo roho wakwa ũkĩyũũria atĩrĩ:
7 "Will YHWH reject us forever? Will he be favorable no more?
“Mwathani egũtũũra atũregete nginya tene? Ndarĩ hĩndĩ agacooka gũtũkenera?
8 Has his loving kindness vanished forever? Does his promise fail for generations?
Wendo wake ũtathiraga-rĩ, nĩkũbuĩria ũbuĩrĩtie nginya tene? Kĩĩranĩro gĩake gĩgũtũũra gĩtahingĩte nginya tene?
9 Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has he, in anger, withheld his compassion?" (Selah)
Kaĩ Mũrungu ariganĩirwo nĩkũiguanĩra tha? Kaĩ marakara make matũmĩte atige gũtugana?”
10 And I thought, "This is my wounding, that the right hand of the Most High has changed."
11 I will remember the works of JAH; for I will remember your wonders of old.
Nĩngũririkana ciĩko cia Jehova; ĩĩ nĩguo, nĩngũririkana ciama ciaku cia tene.
12 I will also meditate on all your work, and consider your doings.
Ndĩrĩtaranagia mawĩra maku mothe, na ngecũũrania ũhoro wa ciĩko ciaku cia hinya.
13 Your way, God, is in the sanctuary. What god is great like God?
Njĩra ciaku, Wee Ngai, nĩ theru. Nĩ ngai ĩrĩkũ nene ta Ngai witũ?
14 You are the God who does wonders. You have made your strength known among the peoples.
Wee nĩwe Mũrungu ũrĩa ũringaga ciama; wonanagia ũhoti waku kũrĩ ndũrĩrĩ.
15 You have redeemed your people with your arm, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. (Selah)
Nĩwakũũrire andũ aku na guoko gwaku kwa hinya, o acio njiaro cia Jakubu na Jusufu.
16 The waters saw you, God. The waters saw you, and they writhed. The depths also convulsed.
Maaĩ nĩmakuonire, Wee Ngai, maaĩ macio maakuonire makĩigua guoya, nakuo kũrĩa kũriku mũno gũkĩĩnyogonda.
17 The clouds poured out water. The skies resounded with thunder. Your arrows also flashed around.
Matu mooiririe mbura, nacio ngwa ikĩruruma igũrũ guothe; heni ciahenũkire ikĩrathũka mĩena yothe
18 The voice of your thunder was in the whirlwind. The lightnings lit up the world. The earth trembled and shook.
Ngwa yaku yaiguĩkanire kĩhuhũkanio-inĩ, rũheni rwaku rũkĩmũrĩka thĩ yothe, nayo thĩ ĩkĩinaina na ĩgĩthingitha.
19 Your way was through the sea; your paths through the great waters. Your footsteps were not known.
Njĩra yaku yatuĩkanĩirie iria-inĩ, njĩra yaku ĩgĩtuĩkanĩria maaĩ-inĩ maingĩ, o na gũtuĩka makinya maku mationekire.
20 You led your people like a flock, by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
Watongoririe andũ aku o ta ũrĩa mũrĩithi atongoragia rũũru, ũkĩmatongoria na guoko kwa Musa na kwa Harũni.
