< Psalms 77 >
1 [For the Chief Musician. To Jeduthun. A Psalm by Asaph.] My cry goes to God. Indeed, I cry to God for help, and for him to listen to me.
Kwa mtsogoleri wa mayimbidwe. Potsata mayimbidwe a Yedutuni. Salimo la Asafu. Ndinafuwulira Mulungu kupempha thandizo; ndinafuwula mokweza kwa Mulungu kuti anditcherere khutu.
2 In the day of my trouble I sought YHWH. My hand was stretched out in the night, and did not get tired. My soul refused to be comforted.
Pamene ndinali pa masautso ndinafunafuna Ambuye; usiku ndinatambasula manja mosalekeza ndipo moyo wanga unakana kutonthozedwa.
3 I remember God, and I groan. I complain, and my spirit is overwhelmed. (Selah)
Ndinakumbukira Inu Mulungu, ndipo ndinabuwula; ndinasinkhasinkha ndipo mzimu wanga unalefuka. (Sela)
4 You hold my eyelids open. I am so troubled that I can't speak.
Munagwira zikope zanga kuti ndisagone ndipo ndinavutika kwambiri kuti ndiyankhule.
5 I have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times.
Ndinaganizira za masiku akale, zaka zamakedzana;
6 I remember my song in the night. I consider in my own heart; my spirit diligently inquires:
Ndinakumbukira nyimbo zanga usiku. Mtima wanga unasinkhasinkha ndipo mzimu wanga unafunsa kuti,
7 "Will YHWH reject us forever? Will he be favorable no more?
“Kodi Ambuye adzatikana mpaka muyaya? Kodi Iwo sadzaonetsanso kukoma mtima kwawo?
8 Has his loving kindness vanished forever? Does his promise fail for generations?
Kodi Chikondi chake chosatha chija chatheratu? Kodi malonjezo ake alephera nthawi yonse?
9 Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has he, in anger, withheld his compassion?" (Selah)
Kodi Mulungu wayiwala kukhala wokoma mtima? Kodi mu mkwiyo wake waleka chifundo chake?”
10 And I thought, "This is my wounding, that the right hand of the Most High has changed."
Ndipo ndinaganiza, “Pa izi ine ndidzapemphanso: zaka za dzanja lamanja la Wammwambamwamba.
11 I will remember the works of JAH; for I will remember your wonders of old.
Ine ndidzakumbukira ntchito za Yehova; Ine ndidzakumbukira zodabwitsa zanu za kalekale.
12 I will also meditate on all your work, and consider your doings.
Ndidzakumbukira ntchito zanu ndi kulingalira zodabwitsa zanu.”
13 Your way, God, is in the sanctuary. What god is great like God?
Njira zanu Mulungu ndi zoyera. Kodi ndi mulungu uti ali wamkulu kuposa Mulungu wathu?
14 You are the God who does wonders. You have made your strength known among the peoples.
Inu ndinu Mulungu wochita zodabwitsa; Mumaonetsera mphamvu yanu pakati pa mitundu ya anthu.
15 You have redeemed your people with your arm, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. (Selah)
Ndi dzanja lanu lamphamvu munawombola anthu anu, zidzukulu za Yakobo ndi Yosefe. (Sela)
16 The waters saw you, God. The waters saw you, and they writhed. The depths also convulsed.
Madzi anakuonani Mulungu, madzi anakuonani ndipo anachita mantha; nyanja yozama inakomoka.
17 The clouds poured out water. The skies resounded with thunder. Your arrows also flashed around.
Mitambo inakhuthula madzi ake pansi, mu mlengalenga munamveka mabingu; mivi yanu inawuluka uku ndi uku.
18 The voice of your thunder was in the whirlwind. The lightnings lit up the world. The earth trembled and shook.
Bingu lanu linamveka mʼmphepo ya kamvuluvulu, mphenzi yanu inawalitsa dziko lonse; dziko lapansi linanjenjemera ndi kugwedezeka.
19 Your way was through the sea; your paths through the great waters. Your footsteps were not known.
Njira yanu inadutsa pa nyanja, njira yanu inadutsa pa madzi amphamvu, ngakhale zidindo za mapazi anu sizinaoneke.
20 You led your people like a flock, by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
Inu munatsogolera anthu anu ngati gulu la nkhosa mwa dzanja la Mose ndi Aaroni.
