< Psalms 70 >

1 [For the Chief Musician. By David. A reminder.] Hurry, God, to deliver me. Come quickly to help me, YHWH.
Ki he Takimuʻa, ko e Saame ʻa Tevita, ko e fakamanatu. ‌ʻE ʻOtua, ke ke fakamoʻui au; ʻE Sihova, ke ke fai vave ke tokoni au.
2 Let them be put to shame and confounded who seek my soul. Let those who desire my ruin be turned back in disgrace.
Tuku ke mā mo puputuʻu ʻakinautolu ʻoku kumi hoku laumālie: tuku ke fakafoki kimui, mo fakamaveuveu, ʻakinautolu ʻoku holi ke u kovi.
3 Let them be turned back because of their shame who say to me, "Aha. Aha."
Tuku ke foki kimui ʻakinautolu, ko e totongi ʻo ʻenau kovi, ʻakinautolu ʻoku pehē, Ha ha.
4 Let all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you. Let those who love your salvation continually say, "Let God be exalted."
Tuku ke fiefia mo nekeneka ʻiate koe ʻakinautolu kotoa pē ʻoku kumi kiate koe: tuku ke lea pehē maʻuaipē ʻakinautolu ʻoku ʻofa ki hoʻo fakamoʻui, “Ke ongoongolelei ʻae ʻOtua.”
5 But I am poor and needy. Come to me quickly, God. You are my help and my deliverer. YHWH, do not delay.
Ka ko au ʻoku ou masiva mo paea: ʻE ʻOtua, ke ke haʻu vave kiate au: ko koe ko hoku tokoni mo hoku fakamoʻui; ʻE Sihova, ʻoua naʻa ke tatali.
