< Psalms 6 >
1 [For the Chief Musician; on stringed instruments, upon the eight-stringed lyre. A Psalm by David.] YHWH, do not rebuke me in your anger, neither discipline me in your wrath.
Ry Iehovà, ko endaha’o ami’ty haviñera’o, le ko mandilo ahy an-keloke.
2 Be gracious to me, YHWH, for I am frail. YHWH, heal me, for my bones are trembling.
Tretrezo, ry Iehovà, fa minike; jangano ry Iehovà fa minevenevetse o taolakoo.
3 And my soul is greatly troubled. But you, YHWH, how long?
Loho mangebahebake ty troko: Fa Ihe ry Iehovà—hombia?
4 Return, YHWH. Deliver my soul. Save me because of your lovingkindness.
Mibaliha, ry Iehovà, Hahao ty fiaiko; rombaho ty amy fiferenaiña’o.
5 For in death there is no memory of you. In Sheol, who shall give you thanks? (Sheol )
Tsy mahatiahy Azo ty an-kavilasy; ia ty hañandriañ’ Azo an-tsikeokeok’ ao? (Sheol )
6 I am weary with my groaning. Every night I drench my bed; I melt my couch with my tears.
Mahamàmak’ ahy ty fiñeoñeoko; ampigoribagoribañeko haleñe ty kidoriko, ampitranaheko rano maso ty fandreako.
7 My eye wastes away because of grief. It grows old because of all my adversaries.
Mitike o masokoo ami’ty haemberako; mihamodo ty amo rafelahy iabio.
8 Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity, for YHWH has heard the sound of my weeping.
Soike ry hene mpanao ratio; fa nahajanjiñe ty feon-tañiko t’Iehovà.
9 YHWH has heard my plea. YHWH has accepted my prayer.
Jinanji’ Iehovà ty halaliko; no’ Iehovà ty filolofako.
10 May all my enemies be ashamed and greatly terrified. May they turn back, suddenly ashamed.
Fonga ho salatse naho hangebahebake o rafelahikoo; Ampipolieñe iereo, vaho hiambovoa’ ty fimeñarañe.
