< Psalms 6 >
1 [For the Chief Musician; on stringed instruments, upon the eight-stringed lyre. A Psalm by David.] YHWH, do not rebuke me in your anger, neither discipline me in your wrath.
Aw Bawipa, kawso doena koeh ni zyi nawhtaw kaw tawknaak ing koeh ni toel.
2 Be gracious to me, YHWH, for I am frail. YHWH, heal me, for my bones are trembling.
Bawipa kak tha am awm saw nang ing nim qeen lah; Aw Bawipa ka quhkhqi tlo boeih hawh nawh, ni qoei sak lah.
3 And my soul is greatly troubled. But you, YHWH, how long?
Ka hqingnaak ak tha hoet hawh hy. Aw Bawipa iqyt dy hly nu ve?
4 Return, YHWH. Deliver my soul. Save me because of your lovingkindness.
Hlat law nawhtaw aw Bawipa kai ni hul lah; amak dyt thai na lungnaak ing ni hul lah.
5 For in death there is no memory of you. In Sheol, who shall give you thanks? (Sheol )
U ingawm a thih coeng awhtaw nang ce amni sim voel hy. U ing phyi khui awhkawng nang ce a nim kyihcah kaw? (Sheol )
6 I am weary with my groaning. Every night I drench my bed; I melt my couch with my tears.
Kang ko aih awh hoet hawh nyng, than zung kang kqang aih awh ka ih hun plym sak hawh nyng, ka ihkhun awm ka mikphli tui ing plym hawh hy.
7 My eye wastes away because of grief. It grows old because of all my adversaries.
Kawset aih awh ka mik awm ak tha hoet khing nawh, ka qaalkhqi dawngawh ka mik awm am dai voel hy.
8 Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity, for YHWH has heard the sound of my weeping.
Nangmih them che ak saikhqi, ka ven awhkawng cet hlah uh, kawtih Bawipa ing kang kqangnaak awi za hawh hy.
9 YHWH has heard my plea. YHWH has accepted my prayer.
Qeennaak thoeh nawh kak khynaak awi ce Bawipa ing za nawh; kak cykcahnaak awi ce Bawipa ing do hy.
10 May all my enemies be ashamed and greatly terrified. May they turn back, suddenly ashamed.
Ka qaalkhqi boeih ing a mingngaih kyi kawmsaw chah phyi kawm uh; chah phyih doena ami huna hlat tlaih kawm uh.
