< Psalms 3 >

1 [A Psalm by David, when he fled from Absalom his son.] YHWH, how my adversaries have increased. Many rise up against me.

2 Many there are who say of my soul, "There is no salvation for him in God." (Selah)
Bebree no ara ka fa me ho se, “Onyankopɔn rennye no.”
3 But you, YHWH, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head.
Nanso wo, Awurade, woyɛ nkatabo a atwa me ho ahyia mʼanuonyam, nea Ɔpagyaw me ti.
4 I cried out to YHWH with my voice, and he answered me from his holy mountain. (Selah)
Meteɛ mu su frɛ Awurade, na ogye me so fi ne bepɔw kronkron no so.
5 I lay down and slept. I awoke, for YHWH sustains me.

7 Arise, YHWH. Save me, my God. For you slap all my enemies in the face. You break the teeth of the wicked.
