Psalms 26

1 [By David.] Judge me, YHWH, for I have walked in my integrity. I have trusted also in YHWH without wavering.

Von David. Richte du mich, o HERR; denn ich bin in meiner Unschuld gewandelt und habe mein Vertrauen auf den HERRN gesetzt; ich werde nicht wanken.

2 Examine me, YHWH, and prove me. Try my heart and my mind.

Prüfe mich, HERR, und erprobe mich; läutere meine Nieren und mein Herz!

3 For your loving kindness is before my eyes. I have walked in your truth.

Denn deine Gnade war mir vor Augen, und ich wandelte in deiner Wahrheit.

4 I have not sat with deceitful men, neither will I go in with hypocrites.

Ich blieb nie bei falschen Leuten und gehe nicht zu Hinterlistigen.

5 I hate the assembly of evildoers, and will not sit with the wicked.

Ich hasse die Versammlung der Boshaften und sitze nicht bei den Gottlosen.

6 I will wash my hands in innocence, so I will go about your altar, YHWH;

Ich wasche meine Hände in Unschuld und halte mich, HERR, zu deinem Altar,

7 that I may make the voice of thanksgiving to be heard, and tell of all your wondrous works.

um Lobgesang erschallen zu lassen und alle deine Wunder zu erzählen.

8 YHWH, I love the habitation of your house, the place where your glory dwells.

HERR, ich habe lieb die Stätte deines Hauses und den Ort, da deine Herrlichkeit wohnt!

9 Do not gather my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloodthirsty men;

Raffe meine Seele nicht hin mit den Sündern, noch mein Leben mit den Blutgierigen,

10 in whose hands is wickedness, their right hand is full of bribes.

an deren Händen Laster klebt und deren Rechte voll Bestechung ist.

11 But as for me, I will walk in my integrity. Redeem me, and be merciful to me.

Ich aber wandle in meiner Unschuld; erlöse mich und sei mir gnädig!

12 My foot stands in an even place. In the congregations I will bless YHWH.

Mein Fuß steht auf ebenem Boden; ich will den HERRN loben in den Versammlungen.
