< Psalms 21 >

1 [For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David.] The king rejoices in your strength, YHWH. How greatly he rejoices in your salvation.
To the choirmaster a psalm of David. O Yahweh in strength your he rejoices [the] king and in deliverance your how! (he exults *Q(k)*) exceedingly.
2 You have given him his heart's desire, and have not withheld the request of his lips. (Selah)

3 For you meet him with the blessings of goodness. You set a crown of fine gold on his head.

4 He asked life of you, you gave it to him, even length of days forever and ever.

5 His glory is great in your salvation. You lay honor and majesty on him.

6 For you make him most blessed forever. You make him glad with joy in your presence.

7 For the king trusts in YHWH. Through the loving kindness of the Most High, he shall not be moved.
For the king [is] trusting in Yahweh and in [the] covenant loyalty of [the] Most High not he will be shaken.
8 Your hand will find out all of your enemies. Your right hand will find all those who hate you.
It will find hand your all enemies your right [hand] your it will find [those who] hate you.
9 You will make them as a fiery furnace in the time of your anger. YHWH will swallow them up in his wrath. The fire shall devour them.
You will make them - like a furnace of fire to [the] time of presence your Yahweh in anger his he will swallow up them and it will consume them fire.
10 You will destroy their descendants from the earth, their posterity from among the descendants of Adam.
Descendant[s] their from [the] earth you will destroy and offspring their from [the] children of humankind.
11 Though they intend evil against you, devising a wicked scheme, they will not succeed.
For they have extended on you harm they have planned a scheme not they will succeed.
12 For you will make them turn their back, when you aim drawn bows at their face.
For you will make them a shoulder on bowstrings your you will prepare on faces their.
13 Be exalted, YHWH, in your strength, so we will sing and praise your power.
Rise up! O Yahweh (in strength your *LA(bh)*) we will sing and we will sing praises might your.
