1 Praise JAH. Praise God in his sanctuary. Praise him in his heavens for his acts of power.

Halleluja! Lobt Gott in seinem (himmlischen) Heiligtum, lobt ihn in seiner starken Feste!

2 Praise him for his mighty acts. Praise him according to his excellent greatness.

Lobt ihn ob seinen Wundertaten, lobt ihn nach seiner gewaltigen Größe!

3 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet. Praise him with harp and lyre.

Lobt ihn mit Posaunenschall, lobt ihn mit Harfe und Zither!

4 Praise him with tambourine and dancing. Praise him with stringed instruments and flute.

Lobt ihn mit Pauke und Reigentanz, lobt ihn mit Saitenspiel und Flöte!

5 Praise him with loud cymbals. Praise him with resounding cymbals.

Lobt ihn mit hellklingenden Zimbeln, lobt ihn mit lautschallenden Zimbeln!

6 Let everything that has breath praise JAH. Praise JAH.
