< Psalms 15 >

1 [A Psalm by David.] YHWH, who shall dwell in your sanctuary? Who shall live on your holy mountain?
A Psalm of David. O Lord, who shall sojourn in thy tabernacle? and who shall dwell in thy holy mountain?
2 He who walks blamelessly and does what is right, and speaks truth in his heart.
He that walks blameless, and works righteousness, who speaks truth in his heart.
3 He doesn't slander with his tongue, nor does evil to his friend, nor lifts up an insult against his neighbor.
Who has not spoken craftily with is tongue, neither has done evil to his neighbour, nor taken up a reproach against them that dwelt nearest to him.
4 In his eyes a vile man is despised, but he honors those who fear YHWH. He keeps an oath even when it hurts, and doesn't change it.
In his sight an evil-worker is set at nought, but he honours them that fear the Lord. He swears to his neighbour, and disappoints [him] not.
5 He doesn't lend out his money for interest, nor take a bribe against the innocent. The one who does these things will never be upended.
He has not lent his money on usury, and has not received bribes against the innocent. He that does these things shall never be moved.
