< Psalms 147 >
1 Praise JAH, for it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant and fitting to praise him.
Treño t’Ià! Amy te soa ty fijejoañe aman’ Añaharentika; toe fanjàka naho mañeva ty fandrengeañe Aze.
2 YHWH builds up Jerusalem. He gathers together the outcasts of Israel.
Ampitomboe’ Iehovà t’Ierosalaime: atonto’e o añombelahi-mavo’ o nte-Israeleoo.
3 He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.
Jangane’e ty mikoretse añ’arofo, ho bandie’e o fere’eo.
4 He counts the number of the stars. He calls them all by their names.
Volilie’e ty ia’ o vasiañeo; songa kanjie’e ami’ty añara’e.
5 Great is our Lord, and mighty in power. His understanding is infinite.
Jabahinake i Talèn-tikañey, ra’elahy an-kafatrarañe; tsy taka-jehèñe ty hilala’e.
6 YHWH upholds the humble. He brings the wicked down to the ground.
Tohaña’ Iehovà o mirèkeo, gorè’e an-tane ty lo-tsereke.
7 Sing to YHWH with thanksgiving. Sing praises on the harp to our God,
Sabò am-pañandriañañe t’Iehovà; Rengeo t’i Andrianañahare am-piarahañe marovany,
8 who covers the sky with clouds, who prepares rain for the earth, who makes grass grow on the mountains.
Ie ty mpandafike rahoñe an-dikerañe eñe, naho mpañajary orañe an-tane atoy, naho mampitiry ahetse am-bohitse ey.
9 He provides food for the livestock, and for the young ravens when they call.
Fahana’e hàneñe o bibio, naho o ana-koàke migagakeo.
10 He doesn't delight in the strength of the horse. He takes no pleasure in the legs of a man.
Tsy ty haozara’ o soavalao ty mahahaha Aze, tsy ty kitson-dahilahy ro ifalea’e.
11 YHWH takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his loving kindness.
Ondaty mañeveñe ama’eo ro noro’ Iehovà, o mpitamà ty hafatram-pikokoa’eo.
12 Praise YHWH, Jerusalem. Praise your God, Zion.
Rengeo t’Iehovà, ry Ierosalaime; onjono t’i Andrianañahare’o, ry Tsiône.
13 For he has strengthened the bars of your gates. He has blessed your children within you.
Fa nampifatrare’e o sikadan-dalam-bei’oo; tahie’e o ajalahy ama’oo.
14 He makes peace in your borders. He fills you with the finest of the wheat.
Ampierañerañe’e o efe-tane’oo, vaho ampieneña’e ampemba soa.
15 He sends out his commandment to the earth. His word runs very swiftly.
Ahitri’e mb’an-tane atoy o fetse’eo, mipirirìtse o taro’eo.
16 He gives snow like wool, and scatters frost like ashes.
Anjotsoa’e oram-panala hoe volon’ añondry; afiafia’e hoe lavenoke ty fanala.
17 He hurls down his hail like pebbles. Who can stand before his cold?
Afitse’e ami’ty minjikio’e ty havandra’e, ia ty mahafijohañe miatreke ty fangoratsaha’e.
18 He sends out his word, and melts them. He causes his wind to blow, and the waters flow.
Irahe’e mb’eo o tsara’eo le mitranake iereo; ampitiofe’e o tio’eo, vaho ampidoañe’e rano.
19 He shows his word to Jacob; his statutes and his ordinances to Israel.
Talilie’e am’ Iakobe ty tsara’e; am’ Israele o fañè’eo naho o fepè’eo.
20 He has not done this for just any nation. They do not know his ordinances. Praise JAH.
Tsy nanoe’e izay o tane ila’eo; tsy fohi’ iereo o nafè’eo. Treño t’Ià.
