< Psalms 142 >

1 [A contemplation by David, when he was in the cave. A Prayer.] I cry with my voice to YHWH. With my voice, I ask YHWH for mercy.
Ndakatulo ya Davide, pamene iyeyo anali mʼphanga. Pemphero. Ndikulirira Yehova mofuwula; ndikukweza mawu anga kwa Yehova kupempha chifundo.
2 I pour out my complaint before him. I tell him my troubles.
Ndikukhuthula madandawulo anga pamaso pake; ndikufotokoza za masautso anga pamaso pake.
3 When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, you knew my path. In the way in which I walk, they have hidden a snare for me.
Pamene mzimu wanga walefuka mʼkati mwanga, ndinu amene mudziwa njira yanga. Mʼnjira imene ndimayendamo anthu anditchera msampha mobisa.
4 Look on my right, and see; for there is no one who is concerned for me. Refuge has fled from me. No one cares for my soul.
Yangʼanani kumanja kwanga ndipo onani; palibe amene akukhudzika nane. Ndilibe pothawira; palibe amene amasamala za moyo wanga.
5 I cried to you, YHWH. I said, "You are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living."
Ndilirira Inu Yehova; ndikuti, “Ndinu pothawirapo panga, gawo langa mʼdziko la anthu amoyo.”
6 Listen to my cry, for I am in desperate need. Deliver me from my persecutors, for they are stronger than me.
Mverani kulira kwanga pakuti ndathedwa nzeru; pulumutseni kwa amene akundithamangitsa pakuti ndi amphamvu kuposa ine.
7 Bring my soul out of prison, that I may give thanks to your name. The righteous will surround me, for you will be good to me.
Tulutseni mʼndende yanga kuti nditamande dzina lanu. Ndipo anthu olungama adzandizungulira chifukwa cha zabwino zanu pa ine.
