< Psalms 14 >
1 [For the Chief Musician. By David.] The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt. They do abominable works. There is none who does good.
Don mai bi da kaɗe-kaɗe. Ta Dawuda. Wawaye sukan ce a ransu, “Ba Allah.” Sun lalace, ayyukansu kuwa mugaye ne; babu wani da yake yi abu mai kyau.
2 YHWH looks down from heaven on the descendants of Adam, to see if there are any who are wise, who seek after God.
Ubangiji ya duba daga sama a kan’yan adam don yă ga ko akwai wani da ya gane, wani wanda yake neman Allah.
3 They have all turned away. They have together become corrupt. There is no one who does good, no, not one.
Duka sun kauce, duka gaba ɗaya sun zama lalatattu; babu ɗaya wanda yake yin abu mai kyau, ba ko ɗaya.
4 Have all evildoers no knowledge, who eat up my people as they eat bread? They do not call on YHWH.
Masu aikata mugunta za su taɓa koyo. Suna cin mutane yadda mutane ke cin gurasa kuma waɗanda ba sa kira bisa Ubangiji?
5 There they are utterly terrified, for God is in the generation of the righteous.
Ga su, tsoro ya sha kansu, gama Allah yana cikin ƙungiyar adalai.
6 You would frustrate the plans of the lowly, but YHWH is his refuge.
Ku masu mugunta kuna sa ƙoƙarin matalauta yă zama banza, amma Ubangiji ne mafakansu.
7 Oh that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion. When YHWH restores the fortunes of his people, may Jacob rejoice, may Israel be glad.
Kash, da ceton Isra’ila zai fito daga Sihiyona mana! Sa’ad da Ubangiji zai maido da sa’ar mutanensa, bari Yaƙub yă yi farin ciki Isra’ila kuma yă yi murna!
