Psalms 138

1 [By David.] I will give you thanks, YHWH, with my whole heart. Before the gods I will sing praises to you.

௧தாவீதின் பாடல். உம்மை என் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் துதிப்பேன்; தெய்வங்களுக்கு முன்பாக உம்மைப் புகழ்ந்து பாடுவேன்.

2 I will bow down toward your holy temple, and give thanks to your Name for your loving kindness and for your truth; for you have exalted your Name and your word above all.

௨உமது பரிசுத்த ஆலயத்திற்கு நேராக நான் பணிந்து, உமது கிருபையினிமித்தமும் உமது உண்மையினிமித்தமும் உமது பெயரைத் துதிப்பேன்; உமது எல்லாப் புகழைவிட உமது வார்த்தையை நீர் மகிமைப்படுத்தியிருக்கிறீர்.

3 In the day that I called, you answered me. You encouraged me with strength in my soul.

௩நான் கூப்பிட்ட நாளிலே எனக்கு மறுஉத்திரவு அருளினீர்; என் ஆத்துமாவிலே பெலன்தந்து என்னைத் தைரியப்படுத்தினீர்;

4 All the kings of the earth will give you thanks, YHWH, for they have heard the words of your mouth.

௪யெகோவாவே, பூமியின் ராஜாக்களெல்லோரும் உமது வாயின் வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்கும்போது உம்மைத் துதிப்பார்கள்.

5 Yes, they will sing of the ways of YHWH; for great is YHWH's glory.

௫யெகோவாவின் மகிமை பெரிதாக இருப்பதினால், அவர்கள் யெகோவாவின் வழிகளைப் பாடுவார்கள்.

6 For though YHWH is high, yet he looks after the lowly; but the proud, he knows from afar.

௬யெகோவா உயர்ந்தவராக இருந்தும், தாழ்மையுள்ளவனை நோக்கிப் பார்க்கிறார்; மேட்டிமையானவனையோ தூரத்திலிருந்து அறிகிறார்.

7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you will revive me. You will stretch forth your hand against the wrath of my enemies. Your right hand will save me.

௭நான் துன்பத்தின் நடுவில் நடந்தாலும் நீர் என்னை உயிர்ப்பிப்பீர்; என்னுடைய எதிரிகளின் கோபத்திற்கு விரோதமாக உமது கையை நீட்டுவீர்; உமது வலதுகரம் என்னை இரட்சிக்கும்.

8 YHWH will fulfill that which concerns me; your loving kindness, YHWH, endures forever. Do not forsake the works of your own hands.

௮யெகோவா எனக்காக யாவையும் செய்து முடிப்பார்; யெகோவாவே, உமது கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளது; உமது கரத்தின் செயல்களைத் தள்ளிவிடாமலிரும்.
