Psalms 130

1 [A Song of Ascents.] Out of the depths I have cried to you, YHWH.

Ein Lied im höhern Chor. Aus der Tiefe rufe ich, HERR, zu dir.

2 YHWH, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my petitions.

HERR, höre meine Stimme; laß deine Ohren merken auf die Stimme meines Flehens!

3 If you, JAH, kept a record of sins, YHWH, who could stand?

So du willst, HERR, Sünde zurechnen, HERR, wer wird bestehen?

4 But there is forgiveness with you, so that you may be revered.

Denn bei dir ist die Vergebung, daß man dich fürchte.

5 I wait for YHWH. My soul waits. I hope in his word.

Ich harre des HERRN; meine Seele harret, und ich hoffe auf sein Wort.

6 My soul longs for YHWH more than watchmen long for the morning; more than watchmen for the morning.

Meine Seele wartet auf den HERRN von einer Morgenwache bis zur andern.

7 Israel, hope in YHWH, for with YHWH there is loving kindness. With him is abundant redemption.

Israel hoffe auf den HERRN; denn bei dem HERRN ist die Gnade und viel Erlösung bei ihm;

8 He will redeem Israel from all their sins.

und er wird Israel erlösen aus allen seinen Sünden.
