< Psalms 13 >

1 [For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David.] How long, YHWH? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?
Pak’ ombia, ry Iehovà? Ho haliño’o nainai’e hao iraho? Pak’ombia ty hañetaha’o laharañe amako?
2 How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart every day? How long shall my enemy triumph over me?
Sikal’ombia ty hitsakoreako an-troko ao ty haoreako, ie añ’ovako ao lomoñandro? Ampara’ te ombia ty hañonjonañe ty rafelahikoo ambone ahy?
3 Look, and answer me, YHWH, my God. Give light to my eyes, lest I sleep in death;
Vazohò, naho toiño iraho, ry Iehovà Andrianañahareko; hazavao o masokoo; tsy mone hiroroako ty firoron-kavilasy;
4 Lest my enemy say, "I have prevailed against him," and my adversaries rejoice when I fall.
Vaho hanao ty hoe i rafelahikoy: rinebako re; ke hirebeha’ o malaiñ’ ahikoo t’ie mibolatitse.
5 But I trust in your loving kindness. My heart rejoices in your salvation.
Fe fiatoako ty figahiñan’ arofo’o; hirebeha’ ty troko i fandrombaha’oy.
6 I will sing to YHWH, because he has dealt bountifully with me, and I will sing to the name of YHWH Most High.
Ho saboeko t’Iehovà, amy te nampibodobodoe’e.
