< Psalms 123 >

1 [A Song of Ascents.] To you I do lift up my eyes, you who sit in the heavens.
Ampiandraeko ama’o o masokoo, ry Mpiambesatse an-dikerañe ao.
2 Look, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress; so our eyes look to YHWH, our God, until he has mercy on us.
Hehe te manahake ty fañentean’ ondevo ty fitàn-talè’e, naho ty mason’ anak’ ampatañe ty fitàn-drakemba’e, ro iandràm-pihainon-tika t’Iehovà Andrianañaharen-tika, ampara’ te tretreze’e.
3 Have mercy on us, YHWH, have mercy on us, for we have endured much contempt.
Ferenaiño zahay ry Iehovà, tretrezo, fa loho natsafen-tsirìka.
4 Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scoffing of those who are at ease, with the contempt of the proud.
Etsake ty fanivativà’ o mpiaiñ’ añoleñañeo o fiai’aio, vaho ty inje’ o mpirengevokeo.
