Psalms 113

1 Praise JAH. Praise, you servants of YHWH, praise the name of YHWH.

Lodate, servi del Signore, lodate il nome del Signore. Alleluia.

2 Blessed be the name of YHWH, from this time forth and forevermore.

Sia benedetto il nome del Signore, ora e sempre.

3 From the rising of the sun to the going down of the same, YHWH's name is to be praised.

Dal sorgere del sole al suo tramonto sia lodato il nome del Signore.

4 YHWH is high above all nations, his glory above the heavens.

Su tutti i popoli eccelso è il Signore, più alta dei cieli è la sua gloria.

5 Who is like YHWH, our God, who has his seat on high,

Chi è pari al Signore nostro Dio che siede nell'alto

6 Who stoops down to see in heaven and in the earth?

e si china a guardare nei cieli e sulla terra?

7 He raises up the poor out of the dust. Lifts up the needy from the ash heap;

Solleva l'indigente dalla polvere, dall'immondizia rialza il povero,

8 that he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.

per farlo sedere tra i principi, tra i principi del suo popolo.

9 He settles the barren woman in her home, as a joyful mother of children. Praise JAH.

Fa abitare la sterile nella sua casa quale madre gioiosa di figli.
