Nehemiah 7
1 Now it happened, when the wall was built, and I had set up the doors, and the gatekeepers and the singers and the Levites were appointed,
石垣を築き扉を設け門を守る者謳歌者およびレビ人を立るにおよびて
2 that I put my brother Hanani, and Hananiah the commander of the fortress, in charge of Jerusalem; for he was a faithful man, and feared God above many.
我わが兄弟ハナニおよび城の宰ハナニヤをしてヱルサレムを治めしむ彼は忠信なる人にして衆多の者に超りて神を畏るる者なり
3 I said to them, "Do not let the gates of Jerusalem be opened until the sun is hot; and while they stand guard, let them shut the doors, and you bar them: and appoint watches of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, everyone in his watch, with everyone near his house."
我かれらに言ふ日の熱くなるまではヱルサレムの門を啓くべからず人々の立て守りをる間に門を閉させて汝らこれを堅うせよ汝らヱルサレムの民を番兵に立て各々にその所を守らしめ各々にその家と相對ふ處を守らしめよと
4 Now the city was wide and large; but the people were few in it, and the houses were not built.
邑は廣くして大なりしかどもその内の民は寡くして家は未だ建ざりき
5 My God put into my heart to gather together the nobles, and the rulers, and the people, that they might be reckoned by genealogy. I found the book of the genealogy of those who came up at the first, and I found written in it:
我神はわが心に貴き人々牧伯等および民を集めてその名簿をしらぶる思念を起さしめたまへり我最先に上り來りし者等の系図の書を得て見にその中に書しるして曰く
6 These are the people of the province, who went up out of the captivity of those who had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away, and who returned to Jerusalem and to Judah, everyone to his city;
往昔バビロンの王ネブカデネザルに擄へられバビロンに遷されたる者のうち俘囚をゆるされてヱルサレムおよびユダに上りおのおの己の邑に歸りし此州の者は左の如し 是皆ゼルバベル、ヱシユア、ネヘミヤ、アザリヤ、ラアミヤ、ナハマニ、モルデカイ、ビルシヤン、ミスペレテ、ビグワイ、ネホム、バアナ等に隨ひ來れり
7 who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Bigvai, Rehum, Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel:
そのイスラエルの民の人數は是のごとし
8 The descendants of Parosh, two thousand one hundred seventy-two.

9 The descendants of Shephatiah, three hundred seventy-two.
シパテヤの子孫三百七十二人
10 The descendants of Arah, six hundred fifty-two.
アラの子孫六百五十二人
11 The descendants of Pahath-Moab, of the descendants of Jeshua and Joab, two thousand eight hundred eighteen.
ヱシユアとヨアブの族たるパハテモアブの子孫二千八百十八人
12 The descendants of Elam, one thousand two hundred fifty-four.
エラムの子孫千二百五十四人
13 The descendants of Zattu, eight hundred forty-five.
ザツトの子孫八百四十五人
14 The descendants of Zaccai, seven hundred sixty.
ザツカイの子孫七百六十人
15 The descendants of Bani, six hundred forty-eight.
ビンヌイの子孫六百四十八人
16 The descendants of Bebai, six hundred twenty-eight.

17 The descendants of Azgad, two thousand three hundred twenty-two.

18 The descendants of Adonikam, six hundred sixty-seven.

29 The men of Kiriath Jearim, Kephirah, and Beeroth, seven hundred forty-three.

30 The men of Ramah and Geba, six hundred twenty-one.

31 The men of Michmas, one hundred and twenty-two.

45 The gatekeepers: the descendants of Shallum, the descendants of Ater, the descendants of Talmon, the descendants of Akkub, the descendants of Hatita, the descendants of Shobai, one hundred thirty-eight.

46 The Nethinim: the descendants of Ziha, the descendants of Hasupha, the descendants of Tabbaoth,

47 the descendants of Keros, the descendants of Siaha, the descendants of Padon,
ケロスの子孫シアの子孫パドンの子孫
48 the descendants of Lebana, the descendants of Hagaba, the descendants of Salmai,

49 the descendants of Hanan, the descendants of Giddel, the descendants of Gahar,

56 the descendants of Neziah, the descendants of Hatipha.

57 The descendants of Solomon's servants: the descendants of Sotai, the descendants of Hassophereth, the descendants of Peruda,
ソロモンの僕たりし者等の子孫は即ちソタイの子孫ソペレテの子孫ペリダの子孫
58 the descendants of Jaalah, the descendants of Darkon, the descendants of Giddel,
ヤアラの子孫ダルコンの子孫ギデルの子孫
59 the descendants of Shephatiah, the descendants of Hattil, the descendants of Pokereth Hazzebaim, the descendants of Amon.
シパテヤの子孫ハツテルの子孫ポケレテハツゼバイムの子孫アモンの子孫
60 All the Nethinim, and the descendants of Solomon's servants, were three hundred ninety-two.
ネテニ人とソロモンの僕たりし者等の子孫とは合せて三百九十二人
61 These were those who went up from Tel Melah, Tel Harsha, Cherub, Addan, and Immer; but they could not prove their ancestral houses, nor their descent, whether they were of Israel:
またテルメラ、テルハレサ、ケルブ、アドンおよびインメルより上り來れる者ありしがその宗家とその血統とを示してイスラエルの者なるを明かにすることを得ざりき
62 The descendants of Delaiah, the descendants of Tobiah, the descendants of Nekoda, six hundred forty-two.
是すなはちデラヤの子孫トビヤの子孫ネコダの子孫にして合せて六百四十二人
63 Of the priests: the descendants of Hobaiah, the descendants of Hakkoz, the descendants of Barzillai, who took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called after their name.
祭司の中にホバヤの子孫ハツコヅの子孫バルジライの子孫ありバルジライはギレアデ人バルジライの女を妻に娶りてその名を名りしなり
64 These searched for their genealogical records, but couldn't find them. Therefore were they deemed polluted and put from the priesthood.
是等の者系圖に載る者等の中にその籍を尋ねたれども在ざりき是故に汚れたる者として祭司の中より除かれたり
65 The governor said to them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, until there stood up a priest with Urim and Thummim.
テルシヤタ即ち之に告てウリムとトンミムを帯る祭司の興るまでは至聖物を食ふべからずと言り
66 The whole assembly together was forty-two thousand three hundred sixty,
會衆あはせて四萬二千三百六十人
67 besides their male servants and their female servants, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty-seven: and they had two hundred forty-five singing men and singing women.
この外にその僕婢七千三百三十七人謳歌男女二百四十五人あり
68 Their horses were seven hundred thirty-six; their mules, two hundred forty-five;
その馬七百三十六匹その騾二百四十五匹
69 their camels, four hundred thirty-five; their donkeys, six thousand seven hundred twenty.
駱駝四百三十五匹驢馬六千七百二十匹
70 Some from among the heads of ancestral houses gave to the work. The governor gave to the treasury one thousand darics of gold, fifty basins, and five hundred thirty priests' garments.
宗家の長の中工事のためにを納めし人々ありテルシヤタは光一千ダリク鉢五十祭司の衣服五百三十襲を施して庫に納む
71 Some of the heads of ancestral houses gave into the treasury of the work twenty thousand darics of gold, and two thousand two hundred minas of silver.
また宗家の長數人は金二萬ダリク銀二千二百斤を工事のために庫に納む
72 That which the rest of the people gave was twenty thousand darics of gold, and two thousand minas of silver, and sixty-seven priests' garments.
その餘の民の納めし者は金二萬ダリク銀二千斤祭司の衣服六十七襲なりき
73 So the priests, and the Levites, and the gatekeepers, and the singers, and some of the people, and the Nethinim, and all Israel, lived in their cities. When the seventh month had come, the children of Israel were in their cities.
かくて祭司レビ人門を守る者謳歌者民等ネテニ人およびイスラエル人すべてその邑々に住り イスラエルの子孫かくてその邑々に住みをりて七月にいたりぬ
