Nehemiah 11

1 And the princes of the people lived in Jerusalem. And the rest of the people also cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts in the other cities.

१प्रजा के हाकिम तो यरूशलेम में रहते थे, और शेष लोगों ने यह ठहराने के लिये चिट्ठियाँ डालीं, कि दस में से एक मनुष्य यरूशलेम में, जो पवित्र नगर है, बस जाएँ; और नौ मनुष्य अन्य नगरों में बसें।

2 The people blessed all the men who willingly offered themselves to dwell in Jerusalem.

२जिन्होंने अपनी ही इच्छा से यरूशलेम में वास करना चाहा उन सभी को लोगों ने आशीर्वाद दिया।

3 Now these are the chiefs of the province who lived in Jerusalem; but in the cities of Judah everyone lived in his possession in their cities: Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the Nethinim, and the descendants of Solomon's servants.

३उस प्रान्त के मुख्य-मुख्य पुरुष जो यरूशलेम में रहते थे, वे ये हैं; परन्तु यहूदा के नगरों में एक-एक मनुष्य अपनी निज भूमि में रहता था; अर्थात् इस्राएली, याजक, लेवीय, नतीन और सुलैमान के दासों की सन्तान।

4 In Jerusalem lived certain of the people of Judah, and of the people of Benjamin. Of the people of Judah: Athaiah the son of Uzziah, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Shephatiah, the son of Mahalalel, of the descendants of Perez;

४यरूशलेम में तो कुछ यहूदी और बिन्यामीनी रहते थे। यहूदियों में से तो येरेस के वंश का अतायाह जो उज्जियाह का पुत्र था, यह जकर्याह का पुत्र, यह अमर्याह का पुत्र, यह शपत्याह का पुत्र, यह महललेल का पुत्र था।

5 and Maaseiah the son of Baruch, the son of Colhozeh, the son of Hazaiah, the son of Adaiah, the son of Joiarib, the son of Zechariah, the son of a Shelanite.

५मासेयाह जो बारूक का पुत्र था, यह कोल्होजे का पुत्र, यह हजायाह का पुत्र, यह अदायाह का पुत्र, यह योयारीब का पुत्र, यह जकर्याह का पुत्र, और यह शीलोई का पुत्र था।

6 All the sons of Perez who lived in Jerusalem were four hundred sixty-eight valiant men.

६पेरेस के वंश के जो यरूशलेम में रहते थे, वह सब मिलाकर चार सौ अड़सठ शूरवीर थे।

7 These are the sons of Benjamin: Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Joed, the son of Pedaiah, the son of Kolaiah, the son of Maaseiah, the son of Ithiel, the son of Jeshaiah.

७बिन्यामीनियों में से सल्लू जो मशुल्लाम का पुत्र था, यह योएद का पुत्र, यह पदायाह का पुत्र था, यह कोलायाह का पुत्र यह मासेयाह का पुत्र, यह इतीएह का पुत्र, यह यशायाह का पुत्र था।

8 After him Gabbai, Sallai, nine hundred twenty-eight.

८उसके बाद गब्बै सल्लै जिनके साथ नौ सौ अट्ठाईस पुरुष थे।

9 Joel the son of Zikri was their overseer; and Judah the son of Hassenuah was second over the city.

९इनका प्रधान जिक्री का पुत्र योएल था, और हस्सनूआ का पुत्र यहूदा नगर के प्रधान का नायब था।

10 Of the priests: Jedaiah the son of Joiarib, Jakin,

१०फिर याजकों में से योयारीब का पुत्र यदायाह और याकीन।

11 Azariah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the ruler of God's house,

११और सरायाह जो परमेश्वर के भवन का प्रधान और हिल्किय्याह का पुत्र था, यह मशुल्लाम का पुत्र, यह सादोक का पुत्र, यह मरायोत का पुत्र, यह अहीतूब का पुत्र था।

12 and their brothers who did the work of the house, eight hundred twenty-two; and Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pelaliah, the son of Amzi, the son of Zechariah, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malchijah,

१२और इनके आठ सौ बाईस भाई जो उस भवन का काम करते थे; और अदायाह, जो यरोहाम का पुत्र था, यह पलल्याह का पुत्र, यह अमसी का पुत्र, यह जकर्याह का पुत्र, यह पशहूर का पुत्र, यह मल्किय्याह का पुत्र था।

13 and his brothers, chiefs of ancestral houses, two hundred forty-two; and Amashsai the son of Azarel, the son of Ahzai, the son of Meshillemoth, the son of Immer,

१३इसके दो सौ बयालीस भाई जो पितरों के घरानों के प्रधान थे; और अमशै जो अजरेल का पुत्र था, यह अहजै का पुत्र, यह मशिल्लेमोत का पुत्र, यह इम्मेर का पुत्र था।

14 and his brothers, mighty men of valor, one hundred twenty-eight; and their overseer was Zabdiel, the son of Haggedolim.

१४इनके एक सौ अट्ठाईस शूरवीर भाई थे और इनका प्रधान हग्गदोलीम का पुत्र जब्दीएल था।

15 Of the Levites: Shemaiah the son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Bunni;

१५फिर लेवियों में से शमायाह जो हश्शूब का पुत्र था, यह अज्रीकाम का पुत्र, यह हशब्याह का पुत्र, यह बुन्नी का पुत्र था।

16 and Shabbethai and Jozabad, of the chiefs of the Levites, who had the oversight of the outward business of God's house;

१६शब्बतै और योजाबाद मुख्य लेवियों में से परमेश्वर के भवन के बाहरी काम पर ठहरे थे।

17 and Mattaniah the son of Micah, the son of Zikri, the son of Asaph, the praise leader who led in thanksgiving and prayer, and Bakbukiah, the second among his brothers; and Abda the son of Shammua, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun.

१७मत्तन्याह जो मीका का पुत्र और जब्दी का पोता, और आसाप का परपोता था; वह प्रार्थना में धन्यवाद करनेवालों का मुखिया था, और बकबुक्याह अपने भाइयों में दूसरा पद रखता था; और अब्दा जो शम्मू का पुत्र, और गालाल का पोता, और यदूतून का परपोता था।

18 All the Levites in the holy city were two hundred eighty-four.

१८जो लेवीय पवित्र नगर में रहते थे, वह सब मिलाकर दो सौ चौरासी थे।

19 Moreover the gatekeepers, Akkub, Talmon, and their brothers, who kept watch at the gates, were one hundred seventy-two.

१९अक्कूब और तल्मोन नामक द्वारपाल और उनके भाई जो फाटकों के रखवाले थे, एक सौ बहत्तर थे।

20 The residue of Israel, of the priests, the Levites, were in all the cities of Judah, everyone in his inheritance.

२०शेष इस्राएली याजक और लेवीय, यहूदा के सब नगरों में अपने-अपने भाग पर रहते थे।

21 But the temple servants lived on Ophel, and Ziha and Gishpa were in charge of the temple servants.

२१नतीन लोग ओपेल में रहते; और नतिनों के ऊपर सीहा, और गिश्पा ठहराए गए थे।

22 The overseer also of the Levites at Jerusalem was Uzzi the son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Mica, of the sons of Asaph, the singers, over the business of God's house.

२२जो लेवीय यरूशलेम में रहकर परमेश्वर के भवन के काम में लगे रहते थे, उनका मुखिया आसाप के वंश के गवैयों में का उज्जी था, जो बानी का पुत्र था, यह हशब्याह का पुत्र, यह मत्तन्याह का पुत्र और यह हशब्याह का पुत्र था।

23 For there was a commandment from the king concerning them, and a settled provision for the singers, as every day required.

२३क्योंकि उनके विषय राजा की आज्ञा थी, और गवैयों के प्रतिदिन के प्रयोजन के अनुसार ठीक प्रबन्ध था।

24 Pethahiah the son of Meshezabel, of the descendants of Zerah the son of Judah, was at the king's hand in all matters concerning the people.

२४प्रजा के सब काम के लिये मशेजबेल का पुत्र पतह्याह जो यहूदा के पुत्र जेरह के वंश में था, वह राजा के पास रहता था।

25 As for the villages, with their fields, some of the people of Judah lived in Kiriath Arba and its towns, and in Dibon and its towns, and in Jekabzeel and its villages,

२५बच गए गाँव और उनके खेत, सो कुछ यहूदी किर्यतअर्बा, और उनके गाँव में, कुछ दीबोन, और उसके गाँवों में, कुछ यकब्सेल और उसके गाँवों में रहते थे।

26 and in Jeshua, and in Moladah, and Beth Pelet,

२६फिर येशुअ, मोलादा, बेत्पेलेत;

27 and in Hazar Shual, and in Beersheba and its towns,

२७हसर्शूआल, और बेर्शेबा और उसके गाँवों में;

28 and in Ziklag, and in Meconah and in its towns,

२८और सिकलग और मकोना और उनके गाँवों में;

29 and in En Rimmon, and in Zorah, and in Jarmuth,

२९एन्निम्मोन, सोरा, यर्मूत,

30 Zanoah, Adullam, and their villages, Lachish and its fields, Azekah and its towns. So they camped from Beersheba to the Valley of Hinnom.

३०जानोह और अदुल्लाम और उनके गाँवों में, लाकीश, और उसके खेतों में, अजेका और उसके गाँवों में वे बेर्शेबा से ले हिन्नोम की तराई तक डेरे डाले हुए रहते थे।

31 And some of the people of Benjamin also lived from Geba onward, at Michmash and Aiah, and at Bethel and its towns,

३१बिन्यामीनी गेबा से लेकर मिकमाश, अय्या और बेतेल और उसके गाँवों में;

32 at Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,

३२अनातोत, नोब, अनन्याह,

33 Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,

३३हासोर, रामाह, गित्तैम,

34 Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat,

३४हादीद, सबोईम, नबल्लत,

35 Lod, and Ono, Ge-harashim.

३५लोद, ओनो और कारीगरों की तराई तक रहते थे।

36 Of the Levites, certain divisions in Judah settled in Benjamin's territory.

३६यहूदा के कुछ लेवियों के दल बिन्यामीन के प्रान्तों में बस गए।
