Mark 2
1 And when he entered again into Capernaum after some days, it was heard that he was in the house.
௧சில நாட்களுக்குப்பின்பு அவர் மறுபடியும் கப்பர்நகூமுக்குப் போனார்; அவர் வீட்டில் இருக்கிறார் என்று மக்கள் கேள்விப்பட்டு;
2 And many were gathered together, so that there was no more room, not even around the door; and he spoke the word to them.
௨உடனே அநேக மக்கள் கூடிவந்தார்கள், வாசலுக்குமுன்பு நிற்க இடம் இல்லாமல்போனது; அவர்களுக்கு வசனத்தைப் போதித்தார்.
3 And four people came, carrying a paralytic to him.
௩அப்பொழுது நான்குபேர், பக்கவாதத்தினால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட ஒருவனைச் சுமந்துகொண்டு அவரிடம் வந்தார்கள்;
4 And when they could not bring him because of the crowd, they removed the roof above him. When they had broken it up, they let down the mat that the paralytic was lying on.
௪மக்கள்கூட்டம் அதிகமாக இருந்ததால் இயேசுவின் அருகில் செல்லமுடியாமல், அவர் இருந்த வீட்டின் மேல்கூரையைப் பிரித்து, அந்தப் பக்கவாதக்காரனை படுக்கையோடு இறக்கினார்கள்.
5 And Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven you."
௫இயேசு அவர்கள் விசுவாசத்தைக் கண்டு, பக்கவாதக்காரனைப் பார்த்து: மகனே, உன் பாவங்கள் உனக்கு மன்னிக்கப்பட்டது என்றார்.
6 But there were some of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts,
௬அங்கே உட்கார்ந்திருந்த வேதபண்டிதர்களில் சிலர்:
7 "Why does this man speak like that? He is blaspheming; who can forgive sins but God alone?"
௭இவன் இப்படித் தேவநிந்தனை சொல்லுகிறது என்ன? தேவன் ஒருவரைத்தவிர பாவங்களை மன்னிப்பவர் யார் என்று தங்களுடைய இருதயங்களில் சிந்தித்துக்கொண்டிருந்தார்கள்.
8 And immediately Jesus, perceiving in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, said to them, "Why do you reason these things in your hearts?
௮அவர்கள் தங்களுடைய மனதில் இப்படிச் சிந்திக்கிறார்கள் என்று இயேசு உடனே தம்முடைய ஆவியில் அறிந்து, அவர்களைப் பார்த்து: நீங்கள் உங்களுடைய இருதயங்களில் இப்படிச் சிந்திக்கிறது என்ன?
9 Which is easier, to tell the paralytic, 'Your sins are forgiven;' or to say, 'Arise, and take up your bed, and walk?'
௯உன் பாவங்கள் உனக்கு மன்னிக்கப்பட்டது என்று சொல்வதோ, அல்லது எழுந்து உன் படுக்கையை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு நட என்று சொல்வதோ, எது எளிது?
10 But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins", he said to the paralytic,
௧0பூமியிலே பாவங்களை மன்னிக்க மனிதகுமாரனுக்கு அதிகாரம் உண்டு என்பதை நீங்கள் அறியவேண்டும் என்று சொல்லி, பக்கவாதக்காரனைப் பார்த்து:
11 "I tell you, arise, take up your mat, and go to your house."
௧௧நீ எழுந்து, உன் படுக்கையை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, உன் வீட்டிற்குப் போ என்று உனக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன் என்றார்.
12 And he arose immediately, and took up the mat, and went out in front of them all; so that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, "We never saw anything like this."
௧௨உடனே, அவன் எழுந்து, தன் படுக்கையை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு எல்லோருக்கும் முன்பாக தன் வீட்டிற்குப்போனான். அப்பொழுது எல்லோரும் ஆச்சரியப்பட்டு: நாம் இதுவரை இப்படிப்பட்ட சம்பவத்தைப் பார்த்தது இல்லை என்று சொல்லி, தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்தினார்கள்.
13 And he went out again by the seaside. All the crowd came to him, and he taught them.
௧௩அவர் மீண்டும் புறப்பட்டுக் கடல் அருகே போனார்; அப்பொழுது மக்கள் எல்லோரும் அவரிடம் வந்தார்கள்; அவர்களுக்குப் போதனைப்பண்ணினார்.
14 And as he passed by, he saw Levi, the son of Alphaeus, sitting at the tax office, and he said to him, "Follow me." And he arose and followed him.
௧௪அப்பொழுது அவர் நடந்துபோகும்போது, அல்பேயுவின் குமாரனாகிய லேவி வரிவசூலிக்கும் மையத்தில் உட்கார்ந்திருப்பதைப் பார்த்து: என் பின்னே வாஎன்றார்; அவன் எழுந்து அவருக்குப் பின்னேசென்றான்.
15 It happened, that he was reclining at the table in his house, and many tax collectors and sinners sat down with Jesus and his disciples, for there were many, and they followed him.
௧௫அப்பொழுது, அவனுடைய வீட்டிலே அவர் விருந்து சாப்பிடும்போது, அநேக வரி வசூலிப்பவர்களும் பாவிகளும் அவரோடு வந்திருந்தபடியால், அவர்களும் இயேசுவோடும் அவருடைய சீடர்களோடும் பந்தியில் இருந்தார்கள்.
16 And the scribes of the Pharisees, when they saw him eating with the tax collectors and sinners, said to his disciples, "Why is it that he eats and drinks with tax collectors and sinners?"
௧௬இயேசு வரி வசூலிப்பவர்களோடும் பாவிகளோடும் சாப்பிடுகிறதை வேதபண்டிதர்களும் பரிசேயர்களும் பார்த்து, அவருடைய சீடர்களை நோக்கி: அவர் வரி வசூலிப்பவர்களோடும் பாவிகளோடும் சேர்ந்து சாப்பிடுவது ஏன் என்று கேட்டார்கள்.
17 And when Jesus heard it, he said to them, "Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners."
௧௭இயேசு அதைக்கேட்டு: நோயாளிகளுக்குத்தான் வைத்தியன் தேவை, சுகமாக இருப்பவர்களுக்கு தேவை இல்லை; நீதிமான்களையல்ல, பாவிகளையே மனம்திரும்புகிறதற்கு அழைக்கவந்தேன் என்றார்.
18 And John's disciples and the Pharisees were fasting, and they came and asked him, "Why do the disciples of John and those of the Pharisees fast, but your disciples do not fast?"
௧௮யோவானுடைய சீடர்களும் பரிசேயர்களுடைய சீடர்களும் உபவாசம்பண்ணிவந்தார்கள். அவர்கள் இயேசுவிடம் வந்து: யோவானுடைய சீடர்களும் பரிசேயர்களுடைய சீடர்களும் உபவாசம்பண்ணுகிறார்களே, ஆனால் உம்முடைய சீடர்கள் உபவாசம்பண்ணாமல் இருப்பது ஏன் என்று கேட்டார்கள்.
19 And Jesus said to them, "Can the groomsmen fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.
௧௯அதற்கு இயேசு: மணவாளன் தங்களோடு இருக்கும்போது மணவாளனுடைய தோழர்கள் உபவாசம்பண்ணுவார்களா? மணவாளன் தங்களோடு இருக்கும்வரை உபவாசம்பண்ணமாட்டார்களே.
20 But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then will they fast in that day.
௨0மணவாளன் அவர்களைவிட்டுப் போகும் நாட்கள் வரும், அந்த நாட்களிலே உபவாசிப்பார்கள்.
21 No one sews a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, or else the patch shrinks and the new tears away from the old, and a worse hole is made.
௨௧ஒருவனும் புதிய ஆடையின் துண்டைப் பழைய ஆடையோடு இணைத்து தைக்கமாட்டான், தைத்தால், அதினோடு இணைத்த புதிய ஆடை பழைய ஆடையை அதிகமாகக் கிழிக்கும், கீறலும் அதிகமாகும்.
22 And no one puts new wine into old wineskins, or else the wine will burst the skins, and the wine is lost, and the skins will be destroyed; but one puts new wine into fresh wineskins."
௨௨ஒருவனும் புதிய திராட்சைரசத்தைப் பழைய தோல் பைகளில் ஊற்றி வைக்கமாட்டான்; ஊற்றிவைத்தால், புதிய இரசம் தோல் பைகளைக் கிழித்துப்போடும், இரசமும் சிந்திப்போகும், தோல் பைகளும் கெட்டுப்போகும்; புதிய இரசத்தைப் புதிய தோல் பைகளில் ஊற்றி வைக்கவேண்டும் என்றார்.
23 And it happened that he was going on the Sabbath day through the grain fields, and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of grain.
௨௩பின்பு, அவர் ஓய்வுநாளில் வயல்வழியாக நடந்துபோனார்; அவருடைய சீடர்கள் அவரோடு நடந்துபோகும்போது, கதிர்களைச் சாப்பிட தொடங்கினார்கள்.
24 And the Pharisees said to him, "Look, why do they do that which is not lawful on the Sabbath day?"
௨௪பரிசேயர்கள் அவரைப் பார்த்து: இதோ, ஓய்வுநாளில் செய்யக்கூடாததை இவர்கள் ஏன் செய்கிறார்கள் என்றார்கள்.
25 And he said to them, "Did you never read what David did, when he had need, and was hungry—he, and those who were with him?
௨௫அதற்கு அவர்: தாவீதுக்கு உண்டான ஆபத்தில், தானும் தன்னோடு இருந்தவர்களும் பசியாக இருந்தபோது,
26 How he entered into the house of God in the time of Abiathar the high priest, and ate the show bread, which is not lawful to eat except for the priests, and gave also to those who were with him?"
௨௬அவன் அபியத்தார் என்னும் பிரதான ஆசாரியன் காலத்தில் செய்ததை நீங்கள் படித்தது இல்லையா? அவன் தேவனுடைய வீட்டிற்கு சென்று, ஆசாரியர்கள்தவிர வேறு ஒருவரும் சாப்பிடக்கூடாத தேவ சமுகத்தின் அப்பங்களைத் தானும் சாப்பிட்டுத் தன்னோடு இருந்தவர்களுக்கும் கொடுத்தானே என்றார்.
27 And he said to them, "The Sabbath was made for people, not people for the Sabbath.
௨௭பின்பு அவர்களை நோக்கி: மனிதன் ஓய்வுநாளுக்காக உண்டாக்கப்படவில்லை, ஓய்வுநாள் மனிதனுக்காக உண்டாக்கப்பட்டது;
28 Therefore the Son of Man is lord even of the Sabbath."
௨௮எனவே மனிதகுமாரன் ஓய்வுநாளுக்கும் ஆண்டவராக இருக்கிறார் என்றார்.
