< Mark 14 >
1 It was now two days before the feast of the Passover and the unleavened bread, and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might seize him by deception, and kill him.
Azɔ esusɔ ŋkeke eve pɛ ko ne Ŋutitoto kple Abolo Maʋamaʋã ƒe Ŋkekenyui la naɖo, eye nunɔlagãwo kple agbalẽfialawo ganɔ ayemɔ si dzi woato alé Yesu, awui le bebeme la dim.
2 For they said, "Not during the feast, because there might be a riot of the people."
3 While he was at Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper, as he was reclining, a woman came having an alabaster jar of ointment of pure nard—very costly. She broke the jar, and poured it over his head.
Le ɣeyiɣi sia me la, Yesu le Betania, le Simɔn ame si lé kpodɔ kpɔ la ƒe aƒe me. Esi wonɔ fiẽnu ɖum la, nyɔnu aɖe tsɔ amiʋeʋĩ xɔasi aɖe, si le goe nyui aɖe me la vɛ. Eʋu nu le amiʋeʋĩ la nu, eye wòtrɔ wo katã kɔ ɖe Yesu ƒe tame.
4 But there were some who were indignant among themselves, and saying, "Why has this ointment been wasted?
Ame siwo nɔ kplɔa ŋu la dometɔ aɖewo bia wo nɔewo kple dziku be, “Nu ka ŋuti wògblẽ ami xɔasi sia ɖo?
5 For this ointment might have been sold for more than three hundred denarii, and given to the poor." They grumbled against her.
Woate ŋu adzrae wòaxɔ asi wu klosaloga alafa etɔ̃ eye woatsɔ ga la ama na ame dahewo.” Ale woka mo na nyɔnu la vevie.
6 But Jesus said, "Leave her alone. Why do you trouble her? She has done a good work for me.
Yesu gblɔ na wo be, “Miɖe asi le eŋu. Nu ka ŋuti miele fu ɖem nɛ? Nu nyui aɖe wònye wòwɔ nam.
7 For you always have the poor with you, and whenever you want to, you can do them good; but you will not always have me.
Ame dahewo le mia dome ɣe sia ɣe eye miate ŋu ana kpekpeɖeŋu wo ɣe sia ɣi si mielɔ̃, ke nye la, nyemanɔ mia dome ɖaa o.
8 She has done what she could. She has anointed my body beforehand for the burying.
“Nyɔnu sia wɔ nu si wòate ŋui la nam. Esi ami na nye ŋutilã, si ɖi ge wole le ŋkeke kpui aɖewo megbe la do ŋgɔ.
9 Truly I tell you, wherever this Good News may be preached throughout the whole world, that which this woman has done will also be spoken of for a memorial of her."
10 Judas Iscariot, who was one of the twelve, went away to the chief priests, that he might deliver him to them.
Le ɣeyiɣi sia me la, Yuda Iskariɔt, ame si nye Yesu ƒe nusrɔ̃lawo dometɔ ɖeka la do go dzaa yi nunɔlagãwo gbɔ be yeawɔ babla kpli wo le ale si wòade Yesu asi na wo be woawu la ŋu.

12 On the first day of unleavened bread, when they sacrificed the Passover lamb, his disciples asked him, "Where do you want us to go and make ready that you may eat the Passover?"
13 He sent two of his disciples, and said to them, "Go into the city, and there you will meet a man carrying a pitcher of water. Follow him,

16 The disciples went out, and came into the city, and found things as he had said to them, and they prepared the Passover.

18 And as they were reclining and eating, Jesus said, "Truly I tell you, one of you will betray me—he who eats with me."
Esime wonɔ anyi ɖe kplɔ̃a ŋu nɔ nua ɖum la, Yesu gblɔ na nusrɔ̃lawo be, “Vavã mele egblɔm na mi be mia dometɔ ɖeka si le nu ɖum kplim fifia la adem asi.”
19 And they began to be sorrowful, and to say to him one by one, "Surely not I?" And another said, "Surely not I?"
Wo katã woxa nu, eye wo dometɔ ɖe sia ɖe bia Yesu ɖekaɖekae be, “Nyee nye ame si ade wò asia?”
20 He said to them, "It is one of the twelve, he who dips with me in the dish.
Yesu ɖo eŋu na wo be, “Mi ame wuieve siwo ƒe asi le agba me le nu ɖum kplim fifia la dometɔ ɖekae le nu sia wɔ ge.
21 For the Son of Man goes, even as it is written about him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed. It would be better for that man if he had not been born."
22 As they were eating, he took bread, and when he had blessed, he broke it, and gave to them, and said, "Take; this is my body."
Esi wonɔ nua ɖum la, Yesu tsɔ abolo ɖe asi, da akpe ɖe eta eye wòŋe eme hetsɔe na nusrɔ̃lawo gblɔ be, “Mixɔe ɖu, esiae nye nye ŋutilã.”
23 He took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave to them. They all drank of it.
24 He said to them, "This is my blood of the new covenant, which is poured out for many.
Egblɔ na wo be, “Esiae nye nye ʋu, si wotsɔ tre nubabla yeye la nui. Esi wokɔ ɖe anyi ɖe ame geɖewo ta.

Mele egblɔm na mi le nyateƒe me be, nyemagano naneke tso wain ƒe kutsetse me o, va se ɖe gbe ma gbe, esime manoe yeyee le mawufiaɖuƒe la me.”
26 When they had sung the hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.
27 Jesus said to them, "All of you will fall away, for it is written, 'I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.'
Yesu gblɔ na wo be, “Mi katã miele nu gbe ge le gbɔnye, elabena Mawu gblɔ to eƒe gbeƒãɖelawo dzi be, “‘Mele alẽkplɔla la ƒo ge, eye alẽawo akaka gbẽe.’
28 However, after I am raised up, I will go before you into Galilee."
29 But Peter said to him, "Although all will be offended, yet I will not."
Petro gblɔ nɛ be, “Ne ame sia ame gblẽ wò ɖi hã la, nye ya nyemagblẽ wò ɖi gbeɖe o!”
30 Jesus said to him, "Truly I tell you, that today, even this night, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times."
Yesu gblɔ nɛ be, “Petro, nyateƒe gblɔm mele na wò be, hafi koklo naku atɔ zi eve etsɔ fɔŋli la, àgbe nu le gbɔnye zi etɔ̃.”
31 But he insisted, "If I must die with you, I will not deny you." They all said the same thing.
Petro gblɔ kple kakaɖedzi be, “Gbeɖe, nyemagblẽ wò ɖi akpɔ o. Ne ehiã be maku kpli wò kura gɔ̃ hã la, malɔ̃ aku faa.” Nusrɔ̃la mamlɛawo hã ɖe adzɔgbe nenema ke.
32 They came to a place which was named Gethsemane. He said to his disciples, "Sit here, while I pray."
Azɔ wova ɖo teƒe si woyɔna be Getsemanebɔ la me. Yesu gblɔ na eƒe nusrɔ̃lawo be, “Minɔ afi sia ne mayi aɖado gbe ɖa.”
33 He took with him Peter, James, and John, and began to be greatly troubled and distressed.
Ekplɔ Petro, Yakobo kple Yohanes ɖe asi.
34 He said to them, "My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here, and watch."
Egblɔ na nusrɔ̃la etɔ̃awo be, “Nuxaxa te ɖe nye luʋɔ dzi ale gbegbe be ɖeko wòwɔ abe ɖe mele kukum ene. Minɔ afi sia mianɔ ŋudzɔ kplim.”
35 He went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass away from him.
Azɔ la, ezɔ yi ŋgɔ vie ɖatsyɔ mo anyi eye wòdo gbe ɖa bia be ne ele bɔbɔe la, gaƒoƒo la nato ye ŋu ayi.
36 He said, "Abba, Father, all things are possible to you. Please remove this cup from me. However, not what I desire, but what you desire."
Egblɔ be, “Aba, Fofo, nu sia nu wɔwɔ le bɔbɔe na wò. Na kplu sia nato nunye ayi, ke menye nu si nye ŋutɔ medi o, ke boŋ wò lɔlɔ̃nu nava eme.”
37 He came and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, "Simon, are you sleeping? Could you not watch one hour?
Le esia megbe la, etrɔ yi nusrɔ̃la etɔ̃awo gbɔ eye wòva ke ɖe wo ŋu wonɔ alɔ̃ dɔm. Yesu yɔ Petro gblɔ be, “Simɔn, alɔ̃ dɔm mielea? Ekema miate ŋu anɔ ŋudzɔ kplim gaƒoƒo ɖeka pɛ teti hã oa?
38 Watch and pray, that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak."
Minɔ ŋudzɔ, eye miado gbe ɖa be miage ɖe tetekpɔ me o. Gbɔgbɔ la le klalo, gake ŋutilã ya gbɔdzɔ.”
39 Again he went away, and prayed, saying the same words.
40 Again he came and found them sleeping again, for their eyes were very heavy, and they did not know what to answer him.
Womenya nya si woagblɔ nɛ esi wòva kpɔ wo o.
41 He came the third time, and said to them, "Sleep on now, and take your rest. It is enough. The hour has come. Look, the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
Etrɔ gbɔ va wo gbɔ zi etɔ̃lia eye wògblɔ na wo be, “Miegale alɔ̃dɔdɔ dzi le ɖiɖim ɖe emea? Esɔ gbɔ azɔ! Gaƒoƒo la de. Kpɔ ɖa, wode Amegbetɔ Vi la asi na nu vɔ̃ wɔlawo.
42 Arise, let us be going. Look, he who betrays me is near."
Mitso mídzo! Mikpɔ ɖa, ame si le denye ge asi lae nye ema gbɔna!”
43 Immediately, while he was still speaking, Judas, one of the twelve, came—and with him a crowd with swords and clubs, from the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders.
Esi Yesu ganɔ nu ƒom la, eƒe nusrɔ̃la wuieveawo dometɔ ɖeka si woyɔna be, Yuda Iskariɔt kple ameha gã aɖe, siwo lé yiwo kple kpowo ɖe asi henɔ nyanyram ŋutɔ la va do. Ame siawoe nunɔlagãwo kple agbalẽfialawo kple Yudatɔwo ƒe amegã bubuwo dɔ be woalé Yesu vɛ.
44 Now he who betrayed him had given them a sign, saying, "Whomever I will kiss, that is he. Seize him, and lead him away safely."
Hafi woava ɖo teƒea la, Yuda Iskariɔt gblɔ na wo do ŋgɔ be, “Ame si ŋu mate ɖo agbugbɔ nu na la, eyae, milée, ne miakplɔe ayii.”
45 When he had come, immediately he came to him, and said, "Rabbi." and kissed him.
Esi ameha la va ɖo teƒea teti ko la, Yuda Iskariɔt zɔ ɖe Yesu dzi hedo ɣli yɔe be, “Nufiala” eye wògbugbɔ nu nɛ.
46 They laid hands on him, and seized him.
Ameha la dze Yesu dzi helée sesĩe.
47 But a certain one of those who stood by drew his sword, and struck the servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear.
Gake ame aɖe he eƒe yi ɖe go eye wòkpa nunɔlagã la ƒe dɔla ƒe to ɖeka wòge va dze anyigba.
48 Jesus answered them, "Have you come out, as against a robber, with swords and clubs to seize me?
Yesu bia elélawo be, “Adzodala vɔ̃ɖi aɖee menye hafi mietsɔ yiwo kple kpowo ɖe asi va be yewoaléma?
49 I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and you did not arrest me. But this is so that the Scriptures might be fulfilled."
Menɔ gbedoxɔ la ƒe xɔxɔnu gbe sia gbe nɔ nu fiam. Ke esia va eme be woawu Ŋɔŋlɔ Kɔkɔe la nu.”
50 They all left him, and fled.
Le esime nya siawo katã nɔ dzɔdzɔm la, eƒe nusrɔ̃lawo katã si dzo.
51 And a certain young man followed him, having a linen cloth thrown around himself, over his naked body. And they grabbed him,
Ɖekakpui aɖe si ta aklala biɖibiɖi ko la nɔ Yesu yome. Esi amelélawo te kpɔ be yewoalée la,
52 but he left the linen cloth, and fled naked.
esi amama hegblẽ eƒe avɔ la ɖi.
53 They led Jesus away to the high priest. All the chief priests, the elders, and the scribes came together.
Wokplɔ Yesu yi nunɔlagã ƒe aƒe me, afi si nunɔlagãwo kple Yudatɔwo ƒe amegã bubuwo kple agbalẽfialawo va ɖi anyi ɖo le ɣeyiɣi kpui aɖe ko me.
54 Peter had followed him from a distance, until he came into the court of the high priest. He was sitting with the officers, and warming himself in the light of the fire.
Petro nɔ adzɔge ʋĩi le Yesu yome. Esi wòva ɖo nunɔlagã la ƒe aƒe me la, eto nu xa dzaa ge ɖe aƒea me eye wòyi ɖanɔ anyi ɖe subɔla gbɔ nɔ dzo ƒum.
55 Now the chief priests and the whole council sought witnesses against Jesus to put him to death, and found none.
Nunɔlagãwo kple Yudatɔwo ƒe ʋɔnudrɔ̃la gãwo nɔ nutsotso aɖewo dim le Yesu ŋu be yewoatsɔ abu fɔe, eye yewoatso kufia nɛ, gake womete ŋu kpɔ nutsotso aɖeke o.
56 For many gave false testimony against him, and their testimony did not agree with each other.
Ame geɖewo va ɖi alakpaɖasewo, gake nya siwo katã wogblɔ la mesɔ o. Ame sia ame ƒe ɖaseɖiɖi to vovo tso nɔvia tɔ gbɔ.
57 Some stood up, and gave false testimony against him, saying,
Mlɔeba la, ame aɖewo da alakpa ɖe esi be,
58 "We heard him say, 'I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and in three days I will build another made without hands.'"
“Míese wògblɔ be, ‘Magbã gbedoxɔ sia, si amegbetɔwo tu la eye matu bubu si manye amegbetɔwo ƒe asinudɔwɔwɔ o la le ŋkeke etɔ̃ megbe.’”
59 Even so, their testimony did not agree.
Togbɔ be wogblɔ alea hã la, amewo ƒe nutsotsowo gato vovo.
60 The high priest stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus, "Have you no answer? What is it which these testify against you?"
Mlɔeba la, nunɔlagã la tso, bia Yesu le ʋɔnua ŋkume be, “Ɖe nèle gbegbem be yemaɖo nutsotso gbogbo siwo wotsɔ ɖe ŋuwò la ƒe ɖeke ŋu oa? Nya aɖeke mele asiwò nàtsɔ aʋli ɖokuiwò tae oa?”
61 But he stayed quiet, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, "Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One?"
Yesu meke nu o, ke boŋ ezi kpi kpoo.
62 And Jesus said, "I am, and you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of the sky."
Yesu ɖo eŋu nɛ be, “Nyee, tso azɔ dzi miakpɔ Amegbetɔ Vi la wòanɔ anyi ɖe Ŋusẽkatãtɔ la ƒe nuɖusime, eye wòanɔ lilikpowo dzi atso dziƒo ava.”
63 The high priest tore his clothes, and said, "What further need have we of witnesses?
Ŋuɖoɖo sia do dziku na nunɔlagã la ale gbegbe be wòdze eƒe awu si wòdo la hegblɔ be, “Ɖe wòhiã be míagadi ɖasefowo ɖe eŋua?
64 You have heard the blasphemy. What do you think?" They all condemned him to be worthy of death.
Gbeɖe, míekpɔ afiatsotso xoxo elabena miawo ŋutɔ miese busunya si wògblɔ.” Azɔ nu kae nye miaƒe afiatsotso? Wo katã wobu fɔe be, “Edze na ku.”
65 Some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to beat him with fists, and to tell him, "Prophesy." And the officers took him and beat him.
Azɔ ame aɖewo tu ta ɖe mo nɛ ƒia, ɖewo tsɔ nu bla mo nɛ, eye ɖewo hã tu kɔe sesĩe hegblɔ be, “Gblɔe na mí. Ame kae ƒo wò?” Eŋudzɔlawo hã ƒoe.
66 Now as Peter was in the courtyard below, one of the servant girls of the high priest came,
67 and seeing Peter warming himself, she looked at him, and said, "You were also with the Nazarene, Jesus."
Ɖetugbivi la te ɖe Petro ŋu, eye wòlé ŋku ɖe eŋu nyuie. Ke edo ɣli be, “Wò hã Yesu si tso Nazaret la yomedzelawo dometɔ ɖeka nènye.”
68 But he denied it, saying, "I neither know nor understand what you are saying." And he went out into the forecourt, and a rooster crowed.
Ke Petro sẽ nu gblɔ be, “Nyemenya alo se nu si gblɔm nèle la gɔme o.” Ale wòtso ɖanɔ agbo la ƒe mɔnu.
69 And the servant girl saw him, and began again to tell those who stood by, "This is one of them."
Subɔla la ƒe ŋku ganɔ Petro ŋu kokoko. Ekpɔ afi si wòɖanɔ eye wòyɔ ame bubuwo hegblɔ na wo be, “Mebe ame sia la, Yesu yomenɔlawo dometɔ ɖeka wònye.”
70 But he again denied it. After a little while again those who stood by said to Peter, "You truly are one of them, for you are a Galilean, and your accent shows it."
Petro gasẽ nu be yemenya Yesu o! Ke ame siwo tsi tsitre ɖe dzoa gbɔ la hã de asi gbɔgblɔ me na Petro be, “Vavã, wò hã wo dometɔ ɖekae nènye elabena Galilea nètso!”
71 But he began to curse, and to swear, "I do not know this man of whom you speak."
Petro ta nu gblɔ be, “Le nyateƒe me la, nyemenya ame si ŋuti miele nu ƒom le la gɔ̃ hã o.”
72 And immediately the rooster crowed the second time. Peter remembered the word, how that Jesus said to him, "Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times." When he thought about that, he wept.
Kasia koklo ku atɔ zi evelia. Enumake Petro ɖo ŋku Yesu ƒe nya siawo dzi be, “Hafi koklo naku atɔ zi eve la, àgbe nu le gbɔnye zi etɔ̃.” Esia na be eƒe dzi gbã eye wòfa avi hehehe.
