Luke 20
1 It happened on one of those days, as he was teaching the people in the temple and preaching the Good News, that the chief priests and scribes came to him with the elders.
एक दिन जब प्रभु येशु मंदिर में शिक्षा दे रहे तथा सुसमाचार का प्रचार कर रहे थे, प्रधान पुरोहितों तथा शास्त्रियों ने पुरनियों के साथ आकर प्रभु येशु का सामना किया और
2 They asked him, "Tell us: by what authority do you do these things? Or who is giving you this authority?"
उन्होंने उनसे पूछा, “यह बताओ, तुम किस अधिकार से ये सब कर रहे हो? कौन है वह, जिसने तुम्हें यह अधिकार दिया है?”
3 He answered them, "I also will ask you one question. Tell me:
प्रभु येशु ने उन्हें उत्तर दिया, “एक प्रश्न मैं भी आपसे पूछता हूं: मुझे बताइए,
4 the baptism of John, was it from heaven, or from man?"
योहन का बपतिस्मा परमेश्वर की ओर से था या मनुष्यों की ओर से?”
5 They reasoned with themselves, saying, "If we say, 'From heaven,' he will say, 'Why did you not believe him?'
इस पर वे आपस में विचार-विमर्श करने लगे, “यदि हम कहते हैं, ‘परमेश्वर की ओर से,’ तो वह कहेगा, ‘तब तुमने योहन का विश्वास क्यों नहीं किया?’
6 But if we say, 'From man,' all the people will stone us, for they are persuaded that John was a prophet."
किंतु यदि हम कहें, ‘मनुष्यों से,’ तब तो जनता हमारा पथराव कर हमें मार डालेगी क्योंकि उनका तो यह पक्का विश्वास है कि योहन एक भविष्यवक्ता थे.”
7 They answered that they did not know where it was from.
इसलिये उन्होंने प्रभु येशु को उत्तर दिया, “हम नहीं जानते कि वह बपतिस्मा कहां से था.”
8 Jesus said to them, "Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things."
प्रभु येशु ने इसके उत्तर में कहा, “तो मैं भी तुम्हें नहीं बताता कि किस अधिकार से मैं ये काम कर रहा हूं.”
9 He began to tell the people this parable. "A man planted a vineyard, and rented it out to some farmers, and went on a journey for a long time.
प्रभु येशु ने भीड़ को यह दृष्टांत सुनाया: “एक व्यक्ति ने एक दाख की बारी लगाई और उसे किसानों को पट्टे पर देकर लंबी यात्रा पर चला गया.
10 At the proper season, he sent a servant to the farmers to collect his share of the fruit of the vineyard. But the farmers beat him, and sent him away empty.
फसल तैयार होने पर उसने अपने एक दास को उनके पास भेजा कि वे फसल का एक भाग उसे दे दें किंतु उन किसानों ने उसकी पिटाई कर उसे खाली हाथ ही लौटा दिया.
11 He sent yet another servant, and they also beat him, and treated him shamefully, and sent him away empty.
तब उसने दूसरे दास को उनके पास भेजा. किसानों ने उस दास की भी पिटाई की, उसके साथ शर्मनाक व्यवहार किया और उसे भी खाली हाथ लौटा दिया.
12 He sent yet a third, and they also wounded him, and threw him out.
उसने तीसरे दास को उनके पास भेजा. उन्होंने उसे भी घायल कर बाहर फेंक दिया.
13 The lord of the vineyard said, 'What am I to do? I will send my beloved son. It may be that they will respect him.'
“तब दाख की बारी के स्वामी ने विचार किया: ‘अब मेरा क्या करना सही होगा? मैं अपने प्रिय पुत्र को उनके पास भेजूंगा. ज़रूर वे उसका सम्मान करेंगे.’
14 "But when the farmers saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, 'This is the heir. Let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.'
“किंतु उसके पुत्र को देख किसानों ने आपस में विचार-विमर्श किया, ‘सुनो, यह तो वारिस है! चलो, इसकी हत्या कर दें जिससे यह संपत्ति ही हमारी हो जाए.’
15 They threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore will the lord of the vineyard do to them?
उन्होंने उसे बारी के बाहर निकालकर उसकी हत्या कर दी. “यह बताओ, उद्यान का स्वामी अब उनके साथ क्या करेगा?
16 He will come and destroy these farmers, and will give the vineyard to others." When they heard it, they said, "May it never be."
यही कि वह आएगा और इन किसानों का वध कर बारी अन्य किसानों को सौंप देगा.” यह सुन लोगों ने कहा, “ऐसा कभी न हो!”
17 But he looked at them, and said, "Then what is this that is written, 'The stone which the builders rejected, the same was made the chief cornerstone?'
तब उनकी ओर देखकर प्रभु येशु ने उनसे प्रश्न किया, “तो इस लेख का मतलब क्या है: “‘राजमिस्त्रियों द्वारा निकम्मी ठहराई शिला ही आधार की शिला बन गई’?”
18 Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces; but on whomever it falls, it will crush him."
“हर एक, जो इस पत्थर पर गिरेगा, टुकड़े-टुकड़े हो जाएगा किंतु जिस किसी पर यह पत्थर गिरेगा उसे कुचलकर चूर्ण बना देगा.”
19 The chief priests and the scribes sought to lay hands on him that very hour, but they feared the people—for they knew he had spoken this parable against them.
फलस्वरूप प्रधान पुरोहित तथा शास्त्री तत्क्षण प्रभु येशु को पकड़ने की योजना में जुट गए, क्योंकि वे यह समझ गए थे कि प्रभु येशु ने उन पर ही यह दृष्टांत कहा है. किंतु उन्हें भीड़ का भय था.
20 They watched him, and sent out spies, who pretended to be righteous, that they might trap him in something he said, so as to deliver him up to the power and authority of the governor.
वे प्रभु येशु की गतिविधियों पर दृष्टि रखे हुए थे. उन्होंने प्रभु येशु के पास अपने गुप्तचर भेजे कि वे धर्म का ढोंग कर प्रभु येशु को उनकी ही किसी बात में फंसाकर उन्हें राज्यपाल को सौंप दें.
21 They asked him, "Teacher, we know that you say and teach what is right, and are not partial to anyone, but truly teach the way of God.
गुप्तचरों ने प्रभु येशु से प्रश्न किया, “गुरुवर, यह तो हम जानते हैं कि आपकी बातें तथा शिक्षाएं सही हैं और आप किसी के प्रति पक्षपाती भी नहीं हैं. आप पूरी सच्चाई में परमेश्वर के विषय में शिक्षा दिया करते हैं.
22 Is it lawful for us to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?"
इसलिये यह बताइए कि कयसर को कर देना न्याय संगत है या नहीं?”
23 But he perceived their craftiness, and said to them,
प्रभु येशु ने उनकी चतुराई जानते हुए उनसे कहा.
24 "Show me a denarius. Whose image and inscription are on it?" They answered, "Caesar's."
“मुझे एक दीनार दिखाओ. इस पर आकृति तथा मुद्रण किसका है?” उन्होंने उत्तर दिया, “कयसर का.”
25 He said to them, "Then give to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's."
प्रभु येशु ने उनसे कहा, “तो जो कयसर का है. वह कयसर को और जो परमेश्वर का है, वह परमेश्वर को दो.”
26 They weren't able to trap him in his words before the people. And amazed at his answer, they fell silent.
भीड़ की उपस्थिति में वे प्रभु येशु को उनकी बातों के कारण पकड़ने में असफल रहे. प्रभु येशु के इस उत्तर से वे चकित थे और आगे कुछ भी न कह पाए.
27 Some of the Sadducees came to him, those who deny that there is a resurrection.
सदूकी समुदाय के कुछ लोग, जो पुनरुत्थान में विश्वास नहीं करते, प्रभु येशु के पास आए.
28 They asked him, "Teacher, Moses wrote to us that if a man's brother dies having a wife, and he is childless, his brother should take the wife, and raise up children for his brother.
उन्होंने उनसे प्रश्न किया, “गुरुवर, हमारे लिए मोशेह के निर्देश हैं यदि किसी निःसंतान पुरुष का पत्नी के रहते हुए निधन हो जाए तो उसका भाई उस स्त्री से विवाह कर अपने भाई के लिए संतान पैदा करे.
29 There were therefore seven brothers. The first took a wife, and died childless.
सात भाई थे. पहले ने विवाह किया और निःसंतान ही उसकी मृत्यु हो गई.
30 The second and
तब दूसरे ने
31 the third took her, and likewise the seven all left no children, and died.
और फिर तीसरे ने उससे विवाह किया और इस प्रकार सातों ही निःसंतान चल बसे.
32 Afterward the woman also died.
अंततः उस स्त्री की भी मृत्यु हो गई.
33 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them will she be? For the seven had her as a wife."
अब यह बताइए कि पुनरुत्थान पर वह किसकी पत्नी कहलाएगी? क्योंकि उसका विवाह तो सातों भाइयों से हुआ था.”
प्रभु येशु ने उन्हें उत्तर दिया, “विवाह केवल इसी लोक में होते हैं. (aiōn g165)
35 But those who are regarded as worthy of a place in that age and the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are given to someone to marry. (aiōn g165)
वे, जो आनेवाले लोक में प्रवेश तथा मरे हुओं में से जी उठने के योग्य गिने जाते हैं, वैवाहिक अवस्था में प्रवेश नहीं करते. (aiōn g165)
36 For they cannot die any more, for they are like the angels, and are children of God, being children of the resurrection.
जी उठने पर लोग न तो वैवाहिक अवस्था में होंगे और न ही कभी उनकी मृत्यु होगी क्योंकि वहां वे स्वर्गदूतों जैसे होते हैं. जी उठने के परिणामस्वरूप वे परमेश्वर की संतान होंगे.
37 But that the dead are raised, even Moses showed at the bush, when he called the Lord 'The God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.'
मरे हुओं का जी उठना एक सच्चाई है, इसकी पुष्टि स्वयं मोशेह ने जलती हुई झाड़ी के विवरण में की है, जहां वह प्रभु को अब्राहाम का परमेश्वर, यित्सहाक का परमेश्वर तथा याकोब का परमेश्वर कहते हैं.
38 Now he is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for all are alive to him."
इसलिये वह मरे हुओं के नहीं, जीवितों के परमेश्वर हैं क्योंकि उनके सामने ये सभी जीवित हैं.”
39 Some of the scribes answered, "Teacher, you speak well."
कुछ शास्त्रियों ने इसके उत्तर में कहा, “गुरुवर, अति उत्तम उत्तर दिया आपने!”
40 They did not dare to ask him any more questions.
उनमें से किसी को भी अब उनसे किसी भी विषय में प्रश्न करने का साहस न रहा.
41 He said to them, "Why do they say that the Christ is David's son?
प्रभु येशु ने उनसे प्रश्न किया, “लोग यह क्यों कहते हैं कि मसीह दावीद की संतान हैं,
42 David himself says in the scroll of Psalms, 'The Lord said to my Lord, "Sit at my right hand,
क्योंकि स्वयं दावीद स्तोत्र संहिता में कहते हैं: “‘परमेश्वर ने मेरे प्रभु से कहा, “मेरे दायें पक्ष में बैठे रहो,
43 until I make your enemies the footstool of your feet."'
मैं तुम्हारे शत्रुओं को तुम्हारे अधीन करूंगा.”’
44 "David therefore calls him Lord, so how is he his son?"
जब दावीद उन्हें प्रभु कहकर संबोधित करते हैं तब वह दावीद के पुत्र कैसे हुए?”
45 In the hearing of all the people, he said to his disciples,
सारी भीड़ को सुनते हुए प्रभु येशु ने शिष्यों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा,
46 "Beware of the scribes, who like to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the marketplaces, the best seats in the synagogues, and the best places at feasts;
“उन शास्त्रियों से सावधान रहना, जो लंबे ढीले लहराते वस्त्र पहने हुए घूमा करते हैं, सार्वजनिक स्थलों पर सम्मानपूर्ण नमस्कार की आशा करते है. वे यहूदी सभागृहों में मुख्य आसन और दावतों में मुख्य स्थान की प्रीति रखते है.
47 who devour widows' houses, and for a pretense make long prayers: these will receive greater condemnation."
वे विधवाओं के घर हड़प जाते हैं तथा मात्र दिखावे के उद्देश्य से लम्बी-लम्बी प्रार्थनाएं करते हैं. कठोर होगा इनका दंड!”
