Joshua 13

1 Now Joshua was old and well stricken in years. YHWH said to him, "You are old and advanced in years, and there remains yet very much land to be possessed.

௧யோசுவா வயதுமுதிர்ந்தவனானபோது, யெகோவா அவனை நோக்கி: நீ வயதுமுதிர்ந்தவனானாய்; கைப்பற்றிக்கொள்ளவேண்டிய தேசம் இன்னும் மகா விசாலமாக இருக்கிறது.

2 This is the land that still remains: all the regions of the Philistines, and all the Geshurites;

௨மீதியாக இருக்கிற தேசம் எவைகளென்றால், எகிப்திற்கு எதிரான சீகோர் ஆறு துவங்கிக் கானானியர்களைச் சேர்ந்ததாக என்னப்படும் வடக்கே இருக்கிற எக்ரோனின் எல்லைவரையுள்ள பெலிஸ்தர்களின் எல்லா எல்லைகளும், கெசூரிம் முழுவதும்,

3 from the Shihor, which is before Egypt, even to the border of Ekron northward, which is counted as Canaanite; the five lords of the Philistines; the Gazites, and the Ashdodites, the Ashkelonites, the Gittites, and the Ekronites; also the Avvim,

௩காசா, அஸ்தோத், அஸ்கலோன், காத், எக்ரோன் என்கிற பட்டணங்களில் இருக்கிற பெலிஸ்தர்களுடைய ஐந்து அதிபதிகளின் நாடும், ஆவியர்களின் நாடும்,

4 on the south; all the land of the Canaanites, and from Arah that belongs to the Sidonians to Aphek, to the border of the Amorites;

௪தெற்கே துவங்கி ஆப்பெக்வரை எமோரியர்கள் எல்லைவரை இருக்கிற கானானியர்களின் எல்லா தேசமும், சீதோனியர்களுக்கடுத்த மெயாரா நாடும்,

5 and the land of the Gebalites, and all Lebanon, toward the sunrise, from Baal Gad under Mount Hermon to Lebo Hamath;

௫கிப்லியர்களின் நாடும், சூரியன் உதயமாகிற திசையில் எர்மோன் மலையடிவாரத்தில் இருக்கிற பாகால்காத் முதல் ஆமாத்துக்குள் நுழையும்வரையுள்ள லீபனோன் முழுவதும்,

6 all the inhabitants of the hill country from Lebanon to Misrephoth Maim, even all the Sidonians; them will I drive out from before the children of Israel: only you allocate it to Israel for an inheritance, as I have commanded you.

௬லீபனோன் துவங்கி மிஸ்ரபோத்மாயீம்வரை மலைகளில் குடியிருக்கிற அனைவருடைய நாடும், சீதோனியர்களுடைய எல்லா நாடும்தானே. நான் அவர்களை இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்கு முன்பாகத் துரத்துவேன்; நான் உனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே, நீ இஸ்ரவேலுக்குப் பங்குகளைக் கொடுக்கச் சீட்டுகளைப்போட்டு தேசத்தைப் பங்கிடவேண்டும்.

7 Now therefore divide this land for an inheritance to the nine tribes and the half-tribe of Manasseh: from the Jordan as far as the Great Sea toward the setting of the sun, you are to give it; the Great Sea will be the boundary.

௭ஆதலால் இந்த தேசத்தை ஒன்பது கோத்திரங்களுக்கும், மனாசேயின் பாதிக்கோத்திரத்திற்கும் சொந்தமாகும்படிப் பங்கிடு என்றார்.

8 But to the two tribes and to the half-tribe of Manasseh, with him the Reubenites and the Gadites received their inheritance, which Moses gave them, beyond the Jordan eastward, even as Moses the servant of YHWH gave them:

௮மனாசேயின் பாதிக்கோத்திரத்தார்களும் ரூபனியர்களும் காத்தியர்களும் தங்களுடைய பங்குகளை அடைந்து தீர்ந்தது; அதைக் யெகோவாவின் ஊழியக்காரனாகிய மோசே யோர்தானுக்கு மறுபுறத்தில் கிழக்கே அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தான்.

9 from Aroer, that is on the edge of the Valley of the Arnon, and the city that is in the middle of the valley, and all the plain of Medeba to Dibon;

௯அர்னோன் ஆற்றங்கரையில் இருக்கிற ஆரோவேரும், நதியின் நடுவிலிருக்கிற பட்டணம் துவங்கி தீபோன்வரைக்கும் இருக்கிற மெதெபாவின் சமபூமி அனைத்தையும்,

10 and all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, to the border of the people of Ammon;

௧0எஸ்போனிலிருந்து அம்மோனியர்களின் எல்லைவரை ஆட்சிசெய்த எமோரியர்களின் ராஜாவாகிய சீகோனுக்குரிய எல்லாப் பட்டணங்களையும்,

11 and Gilead, and the border of the Geshurites and Maacathites, and all Mount Hermon, and all Bashan to Salecah;

௧௧கீலேயாத்தையும், கெசூரியர்கள் மாகாத்தியர்களுடைய எல்லையிலுள்ள நாட்டையும், எர்மோன் மலை முழுவதையும்,

12 all the kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei (the same was left of the remnant of the Rephaim); for Moses attacked these, and drove them out.

௧௨அஸ்தரோத்திலும் எத்ரேயிலும் ஆட்சிசெய்து, மோசே முறியடித்துத் துரத்தின இராட்சதர்களில் மீதியாக இருந்த பாசானின் ராஜாவாகிய ஓகுக்குச் சல்காவரையிருந்த பாசான் முழுவதையும் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தான்.

13 Nevertheless the children of Israel did not drive out the Geshurites, nor the Maacathites: but Geshur and Maacath dwell in the midst of Israel to this day.

௧௩இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களோ கெசூரியர்களையும் மாகாத்தியர்களையும் துரத்திவிடவில்லை, கெசூரியர்களும் மாகாத்தியர்களும் இந்தநாள்வரை இஸ்ரவேலின் நடுவில் குடியிருக்கிறார்கள்.

14 Only he gave no inheritance to the tribe of Levi. The offerings of YHWH, the God of Israel, made by fire are his inheritance, as he spoke to him.

௧௪லேவியர்களின் கோத்திரத்திற்குமட்டும் அவன் பங்கு கொடுக்கவில்லை; இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய யெகோவா மோசேக்குச் சொன்னபடியே, அவருடைய தகனபலிகளே அவர்களுடைய பங்கு.

15 Moses gave to the tribe of the descendants of Reuben according to their families.

௧௫மோசே ரூபன் கோத்திரத்திற்கு அவர்களுடைய வம்சங்களுக்குத்தக்கதாகப் பங்கு கொடுத்தான்.

16 Their border was from Aroer, that is on the edge of the Valley of the Arnon, and the city that is in the middle of the valley, and all the plain by Medeba;

௧௬அர்னோன் ஆற்றங்கரையில் இருக்கிற ஆரோவேரும், ஆற்றின் நடுவிலிருக்கிற பட்டணம் துவங்கி மெதெபாவரையுள்ள சமபூமி முழுவதும்,

17 Heshbon, and all its cities that are in the plain; Dibon, Bamoth Baal, Beth Baal Meon,

௧௭சமபூமியில் இருக்கிற எஸ்போனும், அதின் எல்லாப் பட்டணங்களுமாகிய தீபோன், பாமோத்பாகால், பெத்பாகால் மெயோன்,

18 Jahaz, Kedemoth, Mephaath,

௧௮யாகசா, கெதெமோத், மெபாகாத்,

19 Kiriathaim, Sibmah, Zereth Shahar in the mount of the valley,

௧௯கீரியாத்தாயீம், சீப்மா, பள்ளத்தாக்கின் மலையிலுள்ள செரேத்சகார்,

20 Beth Peor, the slopes of Pisgah, Beth Jeshimoth,

௨0பெத்பேயோர், அஸ்தோத்பிஸ்கா, பெத்யெசிமோத் முதலான

21 all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses struck with the chiefs of Midian, Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba, the princes of Sihon, who lived in the land.

௨௧சமபூமியிலுள்ள எல்லாப் பட்டணங்களும், எஸ்போனில் ஆட்சிசெய்த சீகோன் என்னும் எமோரியர்களுடைய ராஜாவின் ராஜ்யம் முழுவதும் அவர்கள் எல்லைக்குள்ளானது; அந்தச் சீகோனையும், தேசத்திலே குடியிருந்து சீகோனின் அதிபதியாக இருந்த ஏவி, ரேக்கேம், சூர், ஊர், ரேபா என்னும் மீதியானின் பிரபுக்களையும் மோசே வெட்டிப்போட்டான்.

22 The children of Israel also killed Balaam, the son of Beor, the soothsayer, with the sword, among the rest of their slain.

௨௨இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் வெட்டின மற்றவர்களோடும், பேயோரின் மகனாகிய பிலேயாம் என்னும் குறிசொல்லுகிறவனையும் பட்டயத்தினால் வெட்டிப்போட்டார்கள்.

23 The border of the descendants of Reuben was the bank of the Jordan. This was the inheritance of the descendants of Reuben according to their families, the cities and its villages.

௨௩அப்படியே யோர்தானும் அதற்கடுத்த பகுதியும் ரூபன் கோத்திரத்தின் எல்லையானது; இந்தப் பட்டணங்களும் இவைகளின் கிராமங்களும் ரூபன் கோத்திரத்தார்களுக்கு, அவர்கள் வம்சங்களின்படி வந்த பங்கு.

24 Moses gave to the tribe of Gad, to the descendants of Gad, according to their families.

௨௪காத் கோத்திரத்திற்கு மோசே அவர்கள் வம்சங்களுக்குத் தகுந்தபடிக் கொடுத்தது என்னவென்றால்:

25 Their border was Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the people of Ammon, to Aroer that is before Rabbah;

௨௫யாசேரும், கீலேயாத்தின் எல்லாப் பட்டணங்களும், ரப்பாவுக்கு எதிரே இருக்கிற ஆரோவேர்வரையுள்ள அம்மோனியர்களின் பாதித் தேசமும்,

26 and from Heshbon to Ramath Mizpeh, and Betonim; and from Mahanaim to the border of Debir;

௨௬எஸ்போன் துவங்கி ராமாத்மிஸ்பே வரை பெத்தொனீம் வரைக்கும் இருக்கிறதும், மகனாயீம் துவங்கி தெபீரின் எல்லைவரை இருக்கிறதும்,

27 and in the valley, Beth Haram, Beth Nimrah, Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, the Jordan's bank, to the uttermost part of the sea of Kinnereth beyond the Jordan eastward.

௨௭எஸ்போனின் ராஜாவாகிய சீகோனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தின் மற்றப் பகுதிகளாகிய பள்ளத்தாக்கில் இருக்கிற பெத்தாராமும், பெத்நிம்ராவும், சுக்கோத்தும் சாப்போனும், யோர்தான்வரை இருக்கிறதும், கிழக்கே யோர்தானின் கரையோரமாக கின்னரேத் கடலின் கடைசிவரைக்கும் இருக்கிறதும், அவர்கள் எல்லைக்குள்ளானது.

28 This is the inheritance of the descendants of Gad according to their families, the cities and its villages.

௨௮இந்தப் பட்டணங்களும் இவைகளின் கிராமங்களும் காத் கோத்திரத்தார்களுக்கு, அவர்களுடைய வம்சங்களின்படி வந்த பங்கு.

29 Moses gave an inheritance to the half-tribe of Manasseh. It was for the half-tribe of the descendants of Manasseh according to their families.

௨௯மனாசேயின் பாதிக் கோத்திரத்திற்கும், மோசே அவர்களுடைய வம்சத்திற்குத் தகுந்தபடிக் கொடுத்தான்.

30 Their border was from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the towns of Jair, which are in Bashan, sixty cities.

௩0மகனாயீம் துவங்கி, பாசானின் ராஜாவாகிய ஓகின் முழு ராஜ்யமாக இருக்கிற பாசான் முழுவதும், பாசானிலுள்ள யாவீரின் எல்லா ஊர்களுமான அறுபது பட்டணங்கள் அவர்களுடைய எல்லைக்குள்ளானது.

31 Half Gilead, Ashtaroth, and Edrei, the cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, were for the descendants of Makir the son of Manasseh, even for the half of the descendants of Makir according to their families.

௩௧பாதிக் கீலேயாத்தையும், பாசானிலே அஸ்தரோத், எத்ரேயி என்னும் ஓகு ராஜ்யத்தின் பட்டணங்களையும், மனாசேயின் மகனாகிய மாகீரின் மக்கள் பாதிப்பேருக்கு அவர்களுடைய வம்சங்களின்படியே கொடுத்தான்.

32 These are the inheritances which Moses distributed in the plains of Moab, beyond the Jordan at Jericho, eastward.

௩௨மோசே கிழக்கே எரிகோவின் அருகே யோர்தானுக்கு அக்கரையில் இருக்கிற மோவாபின் சமவெளிகளில் பங்குகளாகக் கொடுத்தவைகள் இவைகளே.

33 But to the tribe of Levi Moses gave no inheritance. YHWH, the God of Israel, is their inheritance, as he spoke to them.

௩௩லேவி கோத்திரத்திற்கு மோசே பங்கு கொடுக்கவில்லை, இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய யெகோவா அவர்களுக்குச் சொல்லியிருந்தபடி, அவரே அவர்களுடைய பங்கு.
