< John 21 >

1 After these things, Jesus revealed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias. He revealed himself this way.
Hessafe guye Yesussay Xibiradoose abba achchan bena kaallizaytas qasseka beetdes.
2 Simon Peter, Thomas called Didymus, Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples were together.

3 Simon Peter said to them, "I'm going fishing." They told him, "We are also coming with you." They went out, and entered into the boat. That night, they caught nothing.
Simmoona geetettiza Pixxiroossay isttas “Ta moole oykkana bays” gides, isttika izas “Nukka nenara bana” gida, izara kezzi bidi wogoolon gellida shin he gaalas omarssi issi mooleka oykkibeytena.
4 But when day had already come, Jesus stood on the beach, yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus.
Gadey wonttishshin Yesussay abba achchan eqqides, iza kaallizaytii qass izi Yesussa gididayssa erribeyteena.
5 Jesus therefore said to them, "Children, have you anything to eat?" They answered him, "No."
Yesussay istta “Naytoo mooley dizze?” gides, isttika “aykooka bawa” gida.
6 He said to them, "Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some." They cast it therefore, and now they weren't able to draw it in for the multitude of fish.
Izika “Giteza wogoolozape oshshacha baggara abban yeegite, inte demmana” gida gish giiteza abba giido yeegidane daroo mooley oykeetda gish giiteza molara gochchana danddaebeyitena.
7 That disciple therefore whom Jesus loved said to Peter, "It's the Lord." So when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he wrapped his coat around him (for he was naked), and threw himself into the sea.
Hessa wode Yesussay iza kaallizaytape Yesusa iza siqiza issay Pixxirossa “Hesi Godakko!” gides. Simmoona geetetza Phixxiroossay “hesi Godakko” giza qaala siyda mala kasse ooso diigofo gidi mayoo qaari woththidi kaloo diza gish herakka mayoo ekki mayidi abba giido guuppi gelidees.
8 But the other disciples came in the little boat (for they were not far from the land, but about one hundred yards away), dragging the net full of fish.
Yesussa kaalliza hankkoyti qass biitafe xeetu mitire mala hakii diza gish mooley kumi dizza giiteza gochchi ekkidi wogoolora gakkida.
9 So when they got out on the land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish placed on it, and bread.
Istti wogoolozape wodhdhishin moley iza bolla diza bonqqo tamane ukethth beeyda.
10 Jesus said to them, "Bring some of the fish which you have just caught."
Yesussay istta “Ha7i inte oykkida molezape ha ekki yiite” gides.
11 Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land, full of great fish, one hundred fifty-three; and even though there were so many, the net was not torn.
Hessa gish simmoona geetettiza Phixxiroossay wogooloza giido gellidi xeistane ichchachchu taammane hedzdzu woogga giita mooleti kumiida giiteza abbafe gede gade bolla gochchides. Hessa mala daroo molera diinika giitezi daketibeeyna.
12 Jesus said to them, "Come and eat breakfast." None of the disciples dared inquire of him, "Who are you?" knowing that it was the Lord.
Hessafe guye Yesussay istta “Ha yidi miite” gides. Izi Goda Yesussa gididaysa wursi errida gish iza kaallizaytape issadeykka “Ne oonne” gi oychchanas xallidadey bawa.
13 Then Jesus came and took the bread, gave it to them, and the fish likewise.
Yesussay yidi ukeththane moleza ekkidi isttas immides.
14 This is now the third time that Jesus was revealed to his disciples, after he had risen from the dead.
Yesussay hayqqope denddin iza kaallizayti iza beeyshshin haysi hedzdzanththo.
15 So when they had eaten their breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?" He said to him, "Yes, Lord; you know that I love you." He said to him, "Feed my lambs."
Istti mii gigishshin Yesussay simmoona Phixxiroossa “Yoona na Simmoona! hayiti tana dosizayssafe aththa tana dossayii?” gides. Izikka “Ee ta Godo! ta nena dosizayssa nekka errasa” gides.
16 He said to him again a second time, "Simon, son of John, do you love me?" He said to him, "Yes, Lord; you know that I love you." He said to him, "Tend my sheep."
Yesussay iza “Ta laqqata hemma” gides, namm7enththoka “Yoona na Simmoona! ne tana dossay?” gides, izika zaarid “Ee Godo! Ta nena dosizaysa neka errasa” gides, Yesussay qass “laqqata naga” gides,
17 He said to him the third time, "Simon, son of John, do you love me?" Peter was grieved because he asked him the third time, "Do you love me?" And he said to him, "Lord, you know everything. You know that I love you." Jesus said to him, "Feed my sheep.
Hedzdzanththo “Yoona na Simmoona Ne tana doossay?” gides. Izi hedzdzanththo “Ne tana dossay” gida gish Pixroossay michchetidine “Godo ne ubbaa errasa ta nena dosizayssakka errasa” gides, Yesussayka qasseka “Ta doorisata hemma” gides.
18 Truly I tell you, when you were young, you dressed yourself, and walked where you wanted to. But when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will dress you, and carry you where you do not want to go."
Ta nes tumu gays ne naatethan dashshe ne giththe nerkka gixxada ne koydasso baasashin ne ciimmiza wode gidiko ne ne kushshista pidiisin hara urray nena gixxisanane ne dosoonttaso nena ehaaththaana.
19 Now he said this, signifying by what kind of death he would glorify God. When he had said this, he said to him, "Follow me."
Izi Iza hessaththo giday Pixxroossay ay mala hayqqon xoossu bonchanakone izas erisanaskko. hessafe guye Phixxiroossa “Ne tana kaalla” gides.
20 Then Peter, turning around, saw a disciple following. This was the disciple whom Jesus sincerely loved, the one who had also leaned on Jesus' chest at the evening meal and asked, "Lord, who is going to betray You?"
Phixxiroossay yushshi xeelidi Yesussay dosizaysi iza kaallishin beeydes. He urray kase istt ka7o mishshin Yesussa hayththako shiqidi “Godo nena aththi immanadey izi oonne?” gii oychchides.
21 Peter seeing him, said to Jesus, "Lord, what about this man?"
Pixxroossay iza beeydi “Godo hayssadeych wanandde?” gidi Yesussa oychchides.
22 Jesus said to him, "If I desire that he stay until I come, what is that to you? You follow me."
Yesussaykka izas “Ta ha yana gakkanaashin ta iza paxxa woththiko nena azi gaththidee? ne tana kaalla” gides.
23 This saying therefore went out among the brothers, that this disciple would not die. Yet Jesus did not say to him that he would not die, but, "If I desire that he stay until I come, what is that to you?"
Hessa gaason ishshata garssan “izi hayqqo hayqqena” giza worey lalletides. Gido attin Yesussay “ta yana gakkanaas paxxa dana mala ta koyko nena azze gaththiday?” gidees attin “hayqqakka” giibeyna.
24 This is the disciple who testifies about these things, and wrote these things. We know that his witness is true.
He yoota gish markkatidayne xaafiday ha Yesussa kaallizayssa. Iza markkatethika tumu gididayssa nuni erroos.
25 There are also many other things which Jesus did, which if they would all be written, I suppose that even the world itself would not have room for the books that would be written.
