John 18
1 When Jesus had spoken these words, he went out with his disciples over the wadi of the Kidron, where there was a garden, into which he and his disciples entered.
यीशु या बाते कह्य क अपनो चेलावों को संग किद्रोन नाला को पार गयो। उत एक बगीचा होती, जेको म ऊ अऊर ओको चेला गयो।
2 Now Judas, who betrayed him, also knew the place, for Jesus often met there with his disciples.
ओको पकड़ावन वालो यहूदा भी ऊ जागा जानत होतो, कहालीकि यीशु अपनो चेलावों को संग उत जातो रहत होतो।
3 Judas then, having taken a detachment of soldiers and officers from the chief priests and the Pharisees, came there with lanterns, torches, and weapons.
तब यहूदा पलटन को एक दल ख अऊर मुख्य याजकों अऊर फरीसियों को तरफ सी सिपाहियों ख ले क, कंदील अऊर मशालों अऊर अवजारों ख लियो हुयो उत आयो।
4 Jesus therefore, knowing all the things that were happening to him, went forth, and said to them, "Who are you looking for?"
तब यीशु, उन सब बातों ख जो ओको पर आवन वाली होती जान क, निकल्यो अऊर उन्को सी कह्यो, “कौन ख ढूंढय हय?”
5 They answered him, "Jesus the Nazorean." Jesus said to them, "I AM." Judas also, who betrayed him, was standing with them.
उन्न ओख उत्तर दियो, “यीशु नासरी ख।” यीशु न उन्को सी कह्यो, “मय आय।” ओको पकड़ावन वालो यहूदा भी उन्को संग खड़ो होतो।
6 When therefore he said to them, "I AM," they went backward, and fell to the ground.
ओको यो कहतच, “मय आय,” हि पीछू हट क जमीन पर गिर पड़्यो।
7 Again therefore he asked them, "Who are you looking for?" They said, "Jesus the Nazorean."
तब ओन फिर उन्को सी पुच्छ्यो, “तुम कोख ढूंढय हय।” हि बोल्यो, “यीशु नासरी ख।”
8 Jesus answered, "I told you that I AM. If therefore you seek me, let these go their way,"
यीशु न उत्तर दियो, “मय त तुम सी कह्य दियो हय कि मय आय, यदि मोख ढूंढय हय त इन्क जान दे।”
9 that the word might be fulfilled which he spoke, "Of those whom you have given me, I have lost none."
यो येकोलायी भयो कि ऊ वचन पूरो होय जो ओन कह्यो होतो: “जिन्ख तय न मोख दियो उन्म सी मय न एक ख भी नहीं खोयो।”
10 Simon Peter therefore, having a sword, drew it, and struck the high priest's servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus.
तब शिमोन पतरस न तलवार, जो ओको जवर होती, खीची अऊर महायाजक को सेवक पर चलाय क ओको दायो कान उड़ाय दियो। ऊ सेवक को नाम मलखुस होतो।
11 Jesus therefore said to Peter, "Put the sword into its sheath. Am I not to drink the cup which the Father has given me?"
तब यीशु न पतरस सी कह्यो, “अपनी तलवार म्यान म रख। जो प्याला बाप न मोख दियो हय, का मय ओख नहीं पीऊ?”
12 So the detachment, the commanding officer, and the officers of the Jewish leaders, seized Jesus and bound him,
तब सैनिकों अऊर उन्को सूबेदार अऊर यहूदियों को पहरेदारों न यीशु ख पकड़ क बान्ध लियो,
13 and led him to Annas first, for he was father-in-law to Caiaphas, who was high priest that year.
अऊर पहिले ओख हन्ना को जवर लिजायो, कहालीकि ऊ उन साल को महायाजक कैफा को ससरो होतो।
14 Now it was Caiaphas who advised the Jewish leaders that it was expedient that one man should die for the people.
यो उच कैफा होतो, जेन यहूदियों ख सलाह दी होती कि हमरो लोगों लायी एक आदमी को मरनो ठीक हय।
15 Simon Peter followed Jesus, as did another disciple. Now that disciple was known to the high priest, and entered in with Jesus into the court of the high priest;
शिमोन पतरस अऊर एक दूसरों चेला भी यीशु को पीछू भय गयो। यो चेला महायाजक को जानो पहिचानो होतो, येकोलायी ऊ यीशु को संग महायाजक को आंगन म गयो,
16 but Peter was standing at the door outside. So the other disciple, who was known to the high priest, went out and spoke to her who kept the door, and brought in Peter.
पर पतरस बाहेर द्वार पर खड़ो रह्यो। तब ऊ दूसरों चेला जो महायाजक को जान पहिचान को होतो, बाहेर निकल्यो अऊर पहरेदारिन सी कह्य क पतरस ख अन्दर लायो।
17 Then the maid who kept the door said to Peter, "Are you also one of this man's disciples?" He said, "I am not."
वा दासी न जो पहरेदारिन होती, पतरस सी कह्यो, “कहीं तय भी यो आदमी को चेला म सी त नहाय?” ओन कह्यो, “मय नोहोय।”
18 Now the servants and the officers were standing there, having made a fire of coals, for it was cold. They were warming themselves. Peter was with them, standing and warming himself.
सेवक अऊर पहरेदार ठन्डी को वजह कोरस्या जलाय क खड़ो आगी ताप रह्यो होतो, अऊर पतरस भी ओको संग खड़ो आगी ताप रह्यो होतो।
19 The high priest therefore asked Jesus about his disciples, and about his teaching.
तब महायाजक न यीशु सी ओको चेलावों को बारे म अऊर ओको उपदेश को बारे म पूछताछ करी।
20 Jesus answered him, "I spoke openly to the world. I always taught in synagogues, and in the temple, where all the Jewish people come together. I said nothing in secret.
यीशु न ओख उत्तर दियो, “मय न जगत सी खुल क बाते करी; मय न आराधनालयों अऊर मन्दिर म, जित सब यहूदी जमा होत होतो, सदा उपदेश करयो अऊर गुप्त म कुछ भी नहीं कह्यो।
21 Why do you ask me? Ask those who have heard what I spoke to them; surely they know what I said."
तय मोरो सी का पूछय हय? सुनन वालो सी पूछ कि मय न उन्को सी का कह्यो देख, हि जानय हंय कि मय न का का कह्यो।”
22 When he had said this, one of the officers standing by slapped Jesus with his hand, saying, "Do you answer the high priest like that?"
तब ओन यो कह्यो, त पहरेदारों म सी एक न जो जवर खड़ो होतो, यीशु ख थापड़ मार क कह्यो, “का तय महायाजक ख यो तरह उत्तर देवय हय?”
23 Jesus answered him, "If I have spoken evil, testify of the evil; but if well, why do you beat me?"
यीशु न ओख उत्तर दियो, “यदि मय न बुरो कह्यो, त ऊ बुरायी की गवाही दे; पर यदि सही कह्यो, त मोख कहाली मारय हय?”
24 Annas sent him bound to Caiaphas, the high priest.
हन्ना न ओख बन्ध्यो हुयो ख कैफा महायाजक को जवर भेज दियो।
25 Now Simon Peter was standing and warming himself. They said therefore to him, "You are not also one of his disciples, are you?" He denied it, and said, "I am not."
शिमोन पतरस खड़ो होय क आगी ताप रह्यो होतो। तब उन्न ओको सी कह्यो, “कहीं तय भी ओको चेलावों म सी त नहाय?” पतरस न इन्कार कर क् कह्यो, “मय नोहोय।”
26 One of the servants of the high priest, being a relative of him whose ear Peter had cut off, said, "Did I not see you in the garden with him?"
महायाजक को सेवकों म सी एक, जो ओको कुटुम्ब म सी होतो जेको कान पतरस न काट डाल्यो होतो, बोल्यो, “का मय न तोख ओको संग बगीचा म नहीं देख्यो होतो?”
27 Peter therefore denied it again, and immediately the rooster crowed.
पतरस न फिर सी इन्कार कर दियो अऊर तुरतच मुर्गा न बाग दियो।
28 They led Jesus therefore from Caiaphas into the Praetorium. It was early, and they themselves did not enter into the Praetorium, that they might not be defiled, but might eat the Passover.
तब हि यीशु ख कैफा को जवर सी राजभवन को तरफ ले गयो, अऊर भुन्सारे को समय होतो, पर हि खुद किला को अन्दर नहीं गयो ताकि अशुद्ध नहीं होय पर फसह को त्यौहार खाय सके।
29 Pilate therefore went out to them, and said, "What accusation do you bring against this man?"
तब पिलातुस उन्को जवर बाहेर निकल क आयो अऊर कह्यो, “तुम यो आदमी पर का बात को आरोप लगावय हय?”
30 They answered him, "If this man weren't an evildoer, we would not have delivered him up to you."
उन्न ओख उत्तर दियो, “यदि ऊ अपराधी नहीं होतो त हम ओख तोरो हाथ नहीं सौपतो।”
31 Pilate therefore said to them, "Take him yourselves, and judge him according to your law." Therefore the Jewish leaders said to him, "It is not lawful for us to put anyone to death,"
पिलातुस न उन्को सी कह्यो, “तुमच येख लिजाय क अपनी व्यवस्था को अनुसार ओको न्याय करो।” यहूदियों न ओको सी कह्यो, “हम्ख अधिकार नहाय कि कोयी को जीव लेबो।”
32 that the word of Jesus might be fulfilled, which he spoke, signifying by what kind of death he should die.
यो येकोलायी भयो कि यीशु की ऊ बात पूरी होय जो ओन यो इशारा देतो हुयो कहीं होती कि ओकी मृत्यु कसी होयेंन।
33 Pilate therefore entered again into the Praetorium, called Jesus, and said to him, "Are you the King of the Jews?"
तब पिलातुस फिर राजभवन को अन्दर गयो, अऊर यीशु ख बुलाय क ओको सी पुच्छ्यो, “का तय यहूदियों को राजा आय?”
34 Jesus answered him, "Do you say this by yourself, or did others tell you about me?"
यीशु न उत्तर दियो, “का तय या बात अपनो तरफ सी कह्य हय या दूसरों न मोरो बारे म तोरो सी यो कह्यो हय?”
35 Pilate answered, "I'm not a Jew, am I? Your own nation and the chief priests delivered you to me. What have you done?"
पिलातुस न उत्तर दियो, “का मय यहूदी आय? तोरीच जाति अऊर मुख्य याजकों न तोख मोरो हाथ म सौंप्यो हय। तय न का करयो हय?”
36 Jesus answered, "My Kingdom is not of this world. If my Kingdom were of this world, then my servants would fight, that I would not be delivered to the Jewish leaders. But now my Kingdom is not from here."
यीशु न उत्तर दियो, “मोरो राज यो जगत को नहाय; यदि मोरो राज्य यो जगत को होतो त मोरो सेवक लड़तो कि मय यहूदियों को हाथ सौंप्यो नहीं जातो: पर मोरो राज इत को नहाय।”
37 Pilate therefore said to him, "Are you a king then?" Jesus answered, "You say that I am a king. For this reason I have been born, and for this reason I have come into the world, that I should testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice."
पिलातुस न ओको सी कह्यो, “त का तय राजा आय?” यीशु न उत्तर दियो, “तय कह्य हय कि मय राजा आय। मय न येकोलायी जनम लियो अऊर येकोलायी जगत म आयो हय कि सत्य की गवाही देऊ। जो कोयी सत्य को आय, ऊ मोरी आवाज सुनय हय।”
38 Pilate said to him, "What is truth?" When he had said this, he went out again to the Jewish leaders, and said to them, "I find no basis for a charge against him.
पिलातुस न ओको सी कह्यो, “सत्य का हय?” यो कह्य क ऊ फिर यहूदियों को जवर निकल गयो अऊर उन्को सी कह्यो, “मय त ओको म कुछ दोष नहीं पाऊ।
39 But you have a custom, that I should release someone to you at the Passover. Therefore do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?"
पर तुम्हरी यो रीति हय कि मय फसह को त्यौहार म तुम्हरो लायी एक व्यक्ति ख छोड़ देऊ येकोलायी तुम चाहवय की मय तुम्हरो लायी यहूदियों को राजा ख छोड़ देऊ।”
40 Then they shouted again, saying, "Not this man, but Barabbas." Now Barabbas was a robber.
तब उन्न फिर चिल्लाय क कह्यो, “येख नहीं, पर हमरो लायी बरअब्बा ख छोड़ दे।” अऊर बरअब्बा डाकू होतो।
