John 17
1 Jesus said these things, and lifting up his eyes to heaven, he said, "Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may also glorify you;
Jesus disse estas coisas, e levantou seus olhos ao céu, e disse: Pae, é chegada a hora; glorifica a teu Filho, para que tambem o teu Filho te glorifique a ti:
2 even as you gave him authority over all flesh, he will give everlasting life to all whom you have given him. (aiōnios g166)
Assim como lhe déste poder sobre toda a carne, para que dê a vida eterna a todos quantos lhe déste. (aiōnios g166)
3 This is everlasting life, that they may know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ. (aiōnios g166)
E a vida eterna é esta: que te conheçam, a ti só, por unico Deus verdadeiro, e a Jesus Christo, a quem enviaste. (aiōnios g166)
4 I glorified you on the earth by accomplishing the work which you have given me to do.
Eu glorifiquei-te na terra, tendo consummado a obra que me dés-te a fazer.
5 Now, Father, glorify me with your own self with the glory which I had with you before the world existed.
E agora glorifica-me tu, ó Pae, junto de ti mesmo, com aquella gloria que tinha comtigo antes que o mundo existisse.
6 I revealed your name to the people whom you have given me out of the world. They were yours, and you have given them to me. They have kept your word.
Manifestei o teu nome aos homens que do mundo me déste: eram teus, e tu m'os déste, e guardaram a tua palavra.
7 Now they have known that all things whatever you have given me are from you,
Agora já teem conhecido que tudo quanto me déste vem de ti,
8 for the words which you have given me I have given to them, and they received them, and knew for sure that I came forth from you, and they have believed that you sent me.
Porque lhes dei as palavras que tu me déste; e elles as receberam, e teem verdadeiramente conhecido que sahi de ti, e creram que me enviaste.
9 I pray for them. I do not pray for the world, but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours.
Eu rogo por elles: não rogo pelo mundo, mas por aquelles que me déste, porque são teus.
10 All things that are mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I am glorified in them.
E todas as minhas coisas são tuas, e as tuas coisas são minhas; e n'elles sou glorificado.
11 I am no more in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them through your name which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are.
E eu já não estou mais no mundo; porém elles estão no mundo, e eu vou para ti. Pae sancto, guarda em teu nome aquelles que me déste, para que sejam um, assim como nós.
12 While I was with them, I kept them in your name which you have given me, and I guarded them, and not one of them perished, except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.
Estando eu com elles no mundo, guardava-os em teu nome. Tenho guardado aquelles que tu me déste, e nenhum d'elles se perdeu, senão o filho da perdição, para que a Escriptura se cumprisse.
13 But now I come to you, and I say these things in the world, that they may have my joy made full in themselves.
Mas agora vou para ti, e digo isto no mundo, para que tenham a minha alegria completa em si mesmos.
14 I have given them your word. The world hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
Dei-lhes a tua palavra, e o mundo os aborreceu, porque não são do mundo, assim como eu não sou do mundo.
15 I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one.
Não rogo que os tires do mundo, mas que os livres do mal.
16 They are not of the world even as I am not of the world.
Não são do mundo, como eu do mundo não sou.
17 Sanctify them in the truth. Your word is truth.
Sanctifica-os na tua verdade: a tua palavra é a verdade.
18 As you sent me into the world, even so I have sent them into the world.
Assim como tu me enviaste ao mundo, tambem eu os enviei ao mundo.
19 For their sakes I sanctify myself, that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth.
E por elles me sanctifico a mim mesmo, para que tambem elles sejam sanctificados na verdade.
20 Not for these only do I pray, but for those also who believe in me through their word,
E não rogo sómente por estes, mas tambem por aquelles que pela sua palavra hão de crêr em mim
21 that they may all be one; even as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us; that the world may believe that you sent me.
Para que todos sejam um como tu, ó Pae, em mim, e eu em ti; que tambem elles sejam um em nós, para que o mundo creia que tu me enviaste.
22 The glory which you have given me, I have given to them; that they may be one, even as we are one;
E eu dei-lhes a gloria que a mim me déste, para que sejam um, como nós somos um:
23 I in them, and you in me, that they may be perfected into one; that the world may know that you sent me, and loved them, even as you loved me.
Eu n'elles, e tu em mim, para que sejam perfeitos em um, e para que o mundo conheça que tu me enviaste a mim, e que os tens amado a elles como me tens amado a mim.
24 Father, I desire that they also whom you have given me be with me where I am, that they may see my glory, which you have given me, for you loved me before the foundation of the world.
Pae, aquelles que me déste quero que, onde eu estiver, tambem elles estejam comigo, para que vejam a minha gloria que me déste: porque tu me has amado antes da fundação do mundo.
25 Righteous Father, the world hasn't known you, but I knew you; and these knew that you sent me.
Pae justo, o mundo não te conheceu; mas eu te conheci, e estes conheceram que tu me enviaste a mim.
26 I made known to them your name, and will make it known; that the love with which you loved me may be in them, and I in them."
E eu lhes fiz conhecer o teu nome, e lh'o farei conhecer mais, para que o amor com que me tens amado n'elles esteja, e eu n'elles.
