< Job 42 >
1 Then Job answered YHWH,
Hottelah Job ni BAWIPA hah a pathung teh hettelah a dei.
2 "I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be restrained.
Bangpuengpa na sak thai tie hah ka panue, na noenae hah ngang thai lah awm hoeh.
3 You asked, 'Who is this who hides counsel without knowledge?' therefore I have uttered that which I did not understand, things too wonderful for me, which I did not know.
Apimaw kaie panuenae laipalah khokhangnae ka hrawk e hah telah na pacei. kai hanelah kângairu poung e lah, ka panue hoeh e ka pâpha e lah ao hah ma.
4 You said, 'Listen, now, and I will speak; I will question you, and you will answer me.'
Pahren lahoi thai nateh, lawk na dei sak haw. Lawk na pacei vaiteh na pathung haw telah na ti.
5 I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees you.
Nang teh hnâ hoi dueng doeh na thai rah, hatei, atu teh ka mit hoi na hmu toe.
6 Therefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes."
Hatdawkvah, kama hoi kama ka kâpanuet teh, hraba hoi vaiphu dawk ka tahung teh, pan ka kângai toe telah a ti.
7 It was so, that after YHWH had spoken these words to Job, YHWH said to Eliphaz the Temanite, "My wrath is kindled against you, and against your two friends; for you have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job has.
BAWIPA ni Job koevah lawk be a dei hnukkhu, BAWIPA ni Teman tami Eliphaz koevah, nang hoi na hui roi koevah ka lungkhueknae a kâan. Bangkongtetpawiteh, ka san Job patetlah kaie kong dawk, lawkkatang hah na dei awh hoeh.
8 Now therefore, take to yourselves seven bulls and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you, for I will accept him, that I not deal with you according to your folly. For you have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job has."
9 So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went, and did what YHWH commanded them, and YHWH accepted Job.
Hottelah Teman tami Eliphaz hoi Shuhi tami Bildad hoi Naamath tami Zophar tinaw a cei awh teh, BAWIPA ni kâ a poe e patetlah a sak awh teh, BAWIPA ni Job kâheinae hah a coe pouh.
10 YHWH turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends. YHWH gave Job twice as much as he had before.
Hahoi Job ni a huinaw kathum touh hanelah, a ratoum pouh torei teh, BAWIPA ni Job kangduenae hmuen hah bout ahawi sak teh, BAWIPA ni Job teh yampa e a tawnta e hlakvah, let hni touh bout a poe.
11 Then came there to him all his brothers, and all his sisters, and all those who had been of his acquaintance before, and ate bread with him in his house. They comforted him, and consoled him concerning all the evil that YHWH had permitted on him. And each of them gave him a kesitah and a gold ring.
Hottelah a hmaunawnghanaw hoi a tawncanunaw pueng teh, yampa kapanueknaw pueng ni a im dawk a tho awh teh, rawca a ca awh. BAWIPA ni a lathueng vah kathoute a phasak e naw pueng dawk a lungpahawi awh teh a lungmawng sak awh. Tami pueng ni ahni koevah, ngun hoi suinaw hah a poe awh.
12 So YHWH blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning. He had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand female donkeys.
Hottelah BAWIPA ni ahmaloe e hlak a hnukteng yawhawinae kapap poung lah a poe. Tu 14,000, kalauk 6,000, maitotan a bo lah 1,000, hoi la manu 1,000 a tawn.
13 He had also seven sons and three daughters.
Ca tongpa 7 touh hoi canu 3 touh hai a tawn.
14 He called the name of the first, Jemimah; and the name of the second, Keziah; and the name of the third, Keren Happuch.
Apasuekpoung e min teh Jemimah, apâhni e teh Keziah, apâthum e teh Kerenhappukh.
15 In all the land were no women found so beautiful as the daughters of Job. Their father gave them an inheritance among their brothers.
Ram thung pueng dawk Job e canu patetlah meikahawi e awm hoeh. A na pa ni ahnimouh teh a thangroinaw koe râw a rei van.
16 After this Job lived one hundred forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons' sons, to four generations.

17 So Job died, being old and full of days.
Hottelah Job a matawng teh hnintha kuep lahoi a due.
