Jeremiah 43
1 It happened that, when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking to all the people all the words of YHWH their God, with which YHWH their God had sent him to them, even all these words,
Yeremiya atatsiriza kuwawuza anthuwo mawu onse a Yehova Mulungu wawo, amene Yehova anamutuma kuti akawawuze,
2 then spoke Azariah the son of Hoshaiah, and Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the proud men, saying to Jeremiah, "You speak falsely. YHWH our God has not sent you to say, 'You shall not go into Egypt to live there';
Azariya mwana wa Hosayia ndi Yohanani mwana wa Kareya pamodzi ndi anthu onse odzikuza anawuza Yeremiya kuti, “Ukunama iwe! Yehova Mulungu wathu sanakutume kuti unene kuti, ‘Musapite ku Igupto kukakhala kumeneko.’
3 but Baruch the son of Neriah sets you on against us, to deliver us into the hand of the Chaldeans, that they may put us to death, and carry us away captive to Babylon."
Koma ndi Baruki mwana wa Neriya amene akukulimbikitsa kuti utiletse zopita ku Igupto ndi kuti mʼmalo mwake tidzipereke mʼmanja mwa Ababuloni, kuti iwo atiphe kapena kutitenga ukapolo ku Babuloni.”
4 So Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces, and all the people, did not obey the voice of YHWH, to dwell in the land of Judah.
Motero Yohanani mwana wa Kareya ndi atsogoleri onse a ankhondo pamodzi ndi anthu onse sanamvere lamulo la Yehova loti akhale mʼdziko la Yuda.
5 But Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces, took all the remnant of Judah, who were returned from all the nations where they had been driven, to live in the land of Judah;
Mʼmalo mwake, Yohanani mwana wa Kareya ndi atsogoleri onse a ankhondo anatenga anthu onse otsala a ku Yuda amene anabwera kudzakhala mʼdziko la Yuda kuchokera ku mayiko onse kumene anabalakirako.
6 the men, and the women, and the children, and the king's daughters, and every person who Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had left with Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan; and Jeremiah the prophet, and Baruch the son of Neriah;
Mʼgulu la anthu otengedwalo munali amuna onse, akazi ndi ana, ana aakazi a mfumu, ndiponso anthu amene Nebuzaradani mtsogoleri wa asilikali olonda mfumu anawasiya kwa Gedaliya mwana wa Ahikamu, mdzukulu wa Safani pamodzinso ndi mneneri Yeremiya ndi Baruki mwana wa Neriya.
7 and they came into the land of Egypt; for they did not obey the voice of YHWH: and they came to Tahpanhes.
Kotero anthuwo analowa mʼdziko la Igupto chifukwa anakana kumvera Yehova, nakafika ku Tapanesi.
8 Then came the word of YHWH to Jeremiah in Tahpanhes, saying,
Ndipo Yehova anayankhula ndi Yeremiya ku Tapanesi kuti,
9 "Take great stones in your hand, and hide them in mortar in the brick work, which is at the entry of Pharaoh's house in Tahpanhes, in the sight of the men of Judah;
“Tenga miyala inayi yayikulu ndipo uyikwirire mʼdothi pa chiwundo cha polowera ku nyumba yaufumu ya Farao ku Tapanesi. Uchite zimenezi Ayuda onse akuona.
10 and tell them, 'Thus says YHWH of hosts, the God of Israel: "Look, I will send and take Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will set his throne on these stones that I have hidden; and he shall spread his royal pavilion over them.
Ndipo uwawuze kuti, ‘Yehova Wamphamvuzonse, Mulungu wa Israeli akuti: Ndidzayitana mtumiki wanga Nebukadinezara mfumu ya ku Babuloni, ndipo adzakhazika mpando wake waufumu pa miyala imene ndayikwirira apayi. Iye adzafunyulula tenti yake yaufumu pa miyala imeneyi.
11 He shall come, and shall strike the land of Egypt; such as are for death shall be put to death, and such as are for captivity to captivity, and such as are for the sword to the sword.
Iye adzabwera kudzathira nkhondo Igupto. Iwo oyenera kufa ndi mliri adzafa ndi mliri, iwo oyenera kutengedwa ukapolo adzatengedwa ukapolo, ndipo iwo oyenera kufa ndi lupanga adzafa ndi lupanga.
12 I will kindle a fire in the houses of the gods of Egypt; and he shall burn them, and carry them away captive: and he shall array himself with the land of Egypt, as a shepherd puts on his garment; and he shall go forth from there in peace.
Adzayatsa moto mʼnyumba zopembedzera milungu ya Igupto. Adzayeretsa dziko la Igupto monga momwe mʼbusa amayeretsera chovala chake pochotsamo nsabwe. Pambuyo pake adzachoka mʼdziko la Igupto mwa mtendere.
13 He shall also break the pillars of Beth Shemesh, that is in the land of Egypt; and the houses of the gods of Egypt shall he burn with fire."'"
Ku Iguptoko adzagwetsa zipilala zachipembedzo za ku nyumba yopembedzera mulungu wa dzuwa. Adzatentha ndi moto nyumba za milungu ya ku Igupto.’”
