Isaiah 54
1 "Sing, barren, you who did not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, you who did not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than of her that has a husband," says YHWH.
なんぢ孕まず子をうまざるものよ歌うたふべし 產のくるしみなきものよ聲をはなちて謳ひよばはれ 夫なきものの子はとつげるものの子よりおほしと 此はヱホバの聖言なり
2 "Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of your habitations; do not spare: lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes.
汝が幕屋のうちを廣くし なんぢが住居のまくをはりひろげて吝むなかれ 汝の綱をながくしなんぢの杙をかたくせよ
3 For you shall spread out on the right hand and on the left; and your descendants shall possess the nations, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
そはなんぢが右に左にひろごり なんぢの裔はもろもろの國をえ 荒廢れたる邑をもすむべき所となさしむべし
4 "Do not be afraid, for you will not be put to shame, nor will you be humiliated, for you will not be disgraced. For you will forget the shame of your youth, and the disgrace of your widowhood you will remember no more.
懼るるなかれなんぢ恥ることなからん 惶てためくことなかれ汝はぢしめらるることなからん 若きときの恥をわすれ寡婦たりしときの恥辱をふたたび覺ることなからん
5 For your husband is your Creator; YHWH of hosts is his name: and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; the God of the whole earth shall he be called.
なんぢを造り給へる者はなんぢの夫なり その名は萬軍のヱホバ なんぢを贖ひ給ふものはイスラエルの聖者なり 全世界の神ととなへられ給ふべし
6 For YHWH has called you as a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit, even a wife of youth, when she is cast off," says your God.
ヱホバ汝をまねきたまふ 棄られて心うれふる妻また若きとき嫁てさられたる妻をまねくがごとしと 此はなんぢの神のみことばなり
7 "For a small moment have I forsaken you; but with great mercies will I gather you.
我しばし汝をすてたれど大なる憐憫をもて汝をあつめん
8 In overflowing wrath I hid my face from you for a moment; but with everlasting loving kindness will I have mercy on you," says YHWH your Redeemer.
わが忿恚あふれて暫くわが面をなんぢに隱したれど 永遠のめぐみをもて汝をあはれまんと 此はなんぢをあがなひ給ふヱホバの聖言なり
9 "For this is like the waters of Noah to me; for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah shall no more go over the earth, so have I sworn that I will not be angry with you, nor rebuke you.
このこと我にはノアの洪水のときのごとし 我むかしノアの洪水をふたたび地にあふれ流るることなからしめんと誓ひしが そのごとく我ふたたび汝をいきどほらず 再びなんぢを責じとちかひたり
10 For the mountains may depart, and the hills be removed; but my loving kindness shall not depart from you, neither shall my covenant of peace be removed," says YHWH who has mercy on you.
山はうつり岡はうごくとも わが仁慈はなんぢよりうつらず 平安をあたふるわが契約はうごくことなからんと 此はなんぢを憐みたまふヱホバのみことばなり
11 "You afflicted, tossed with storms, and not comforted, look, I will set your stones in beautiful colors, and lay your foundations with sapphires.
なんぢ苦しみをうけ暴風にひるがへされ 安慰をえざるものよ 我うるはしき彩色をなしてなんぢの石をすゑ 靑き玉をもてなんぢの基をおき
12 I will make your pinnacles of rubies, and your gates of sparkling jewels, and all your walls of precious stones.
くれなゐの玉をもてなんぢの櫓をつくり むらさきの玉をもてなんぢの門をつくり なんぢの境内はあまねく寳石にてつくるべし
13 And all your children shall be taught by God; and great shall be the peace of your children.
又なんぢの子輩はみなヱホバに敎をうけ なんぢの子輩のやすきは大ならん
14 In righteousness you shall be established: you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not be afraid; and from terror, for it shall not come near you.
なんぢ義をもて堅くたち 虐待よりとほざかりて慴ることなく また恐懼よりとほざかるべし そは恐懼なんぢに近づくことなければなり
15 Look, they may gather together, but not by me: whoever shall gather together against you shall fall because of you.
縦ひかれら群集ふとも我によるにあらず 凡てむれつどひて汝をせむる者はなんぢの故にたふるべし
16 "Look, I have created the smith who blows the fire of coals, and brings forth a weapon for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.
みよ炭火をふきおこして用ゐべき器をいだす鐵工はわが創造するところ 又あらし滅ぼす者もわが創造するところなり
17 No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of YHWH, and their righteousness which is of me," says YHWH.
すべてなんぢを攻んとてつくられしうつはものは利あることなし 興起ちてなんぢとあらそひ訴ふる舌はなんぢに罪せらるべし これヱホバの僕等のうくる產業なり 是かれらが我よりうくる義なりとヱホバのたまへり
