Hebrews 10
1 For the Law, having a shadow of the good to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect those who draw near.
१क्योंकि व्यवस्था जिसमें आनेवाली अच्छी वस्तुओं का प्रतिबिम्ब है, पर उनका असली स्वरूप नहीं, इसलिए उन एक ही प्रकार के बलिदानों के द्वारा, जो प्रतिवर्ष अचूक चढ़ाए जाते हैं, पास आनेवालों को कदापि सिद्ध नहीं कर सकती।
2 Or else would not they have ceased to be offered, because the worshippers, having been once cleansed, would have had no more consciousness of sins?
२नहीं तो उनका चढ़ाना बन्द क्यों न हो जाता? इसलिए कि जब सेवा करनेवाले एक ही बार शुद्ध हो जाते, तो फिर उनका विवेक उन्हें पापी न ठहराता।
3 But in those sacrifices there is yearly reminder of sins.
३परन्तु उनके द्वारा प्रतिवर्ष पापों का स्मरण हुआ करता है।
4 For it is impossible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sins.
४क्योंकि अनहोना है, कि बैलों और बकरों का लहू पापों को दूर करे।
5 Therefore when he comes into the world, he says, "Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me.
५इसी कारण मसीह जगत में आते समय कहता है, “बलिदान और भेंट तूने न चाही, पर मेरे लिये एक देह तैयार की।
6 Whole burnt offerings and sin-offerings you took no pleasure in.
६होमबलियों और पापबलियों से तू प्रसन्न नहीं हुआ।
7 Then I said, 'Look, I have come. It is written about me in the scroll of a book; to do your will, God.'"
७तब मैंने कहा, ‘देख, मैं आ गया हूँ, (पवित्रशास्त्र में मेरे विषय में लिखा हुआ है) ताकि हे परमेश्वर तेरी इच्छा पूरी करूँ।’”
8 Previously saying, "Sacrifices and offerings and whole burnt offerings and sin-offerings you did not desire, nor took pleasure in" (which are offered according to the Law),
८ऊपर तो वह कहता है, “न तूने बलिदान और भेंट और होमबलियों और पापबलियों को चाहा, और न उनसे प्रसन्न हुआ,” यद्यपि ये बलिदान तो व्यवस्था के अनुसार चढ़ाए जाते हैं।
9 then he said, "Look, I have come to do your will." He takes away the first, that he may establish the second,
९फिर यह भी कहता है, “देख, मैं आ गया हूँ, ताकि तेरी इच्छा पूरी करूँ,” अतः वह पहले को हटा देता है, ताकि दूसरे को स्थापित करे।
10 by which will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
१०उसी इच्छा से हम यीशु मसीह की देह के एक ही बार बलिदान चढ़ाए जाने के द्वारा पवित्र किए गए हैं।
11 Every priest indeed stands day by day serving and often offering the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins,
११और हर एक याजक तो खड़े होकर प्रतिदिन सेवा करता है, और एक ही प्रकार के बलिदान को जो पापों को कभी भी दूर नहीं कर सकते; बार बार चढ़ाता है।
12 but this one, when he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God;
१२पर यह व्यक्ति तो पापों के बदले एक ही बलिदान सर्वदा के लिये चढ़ाकर परमेश्वर के दाहिने जा बैठा।
13 from that time waiting until his enemies are made the footstool of his feet.
१३और उसी समय से इसकी प्रतीक्षा कर रहा है, कि उसके बैरी उसके पाँवों के नीचे की चौकी बनें।
14 For by one offering he has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.
१४क्योंकि उसने एक ही चढ़ावे के द्वारा उन्हें जो पवित्र किए जाते हैं, सर्वदा के लिये सिद्ध कर दिया है।
15 The Holy Spirit also testifies to us, for after saying,
१५और पवित्र आत्मा भी हमें यही गवाही देता है; क्योंकि उसने पहले कहा था
16 "This is the covenant that I will make with them: 'After those days,' says the Lord, 'I will put my laws on their hearts, I will also write them on their minds.'"
१६“प्रभु कहता है; कि जो वाचा मैं उन दिनों के बाद उनसे बाँधूँगा वह यह है कि मैं अपनी व्यवस्थाओं को उनके हृदय पर लिखूँगा और मैं उनके विवेक में डालूँगा।”
17 "And I will remember their sins and their iniquities no more."
१७(फिर वह यह कहता है, ) “मैं उनके पापों को, और उनके अधर्म के कामों को फिर कभी स्मरण न करूँगा।”
18 Now where forgiveness of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
१८और जब इनकी क्षमा हो गई है, तो फिर पाप का बलिदान नहीं रहा।
19 Having therefore, brothers, boldness to enter into the holy place by the blood of Jesus,
१९इसलिए हे भाइयों, जबकि हमें यीशु के लहू के द्वारा उस नये और जीविते मार्ग से पवित्रस्थान में प्रवेश करने का साहस हो गया है,
20 by the way which he dedicated for us, a new and living way, through the curtain, that is to say, his flesh;
२०जो उसने परदे अर्थात् अपने शरीर में से होकर, हमारे लिये अभिषेक किया है,
21 and having a great priest over the house of God,
२१और इसलिए कि हमारा ऐसा महान याजक है, जो परमेश्वर के घर का अधिकारी है।
22 let us draw near with a true heart in fullness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and having our body washed with pure water,
२२तो आओ; हम सच्चे मन, और पूरे विश्वास के साथ, और विवेक का दोष दूर करने के लिये हृदय पर छिड़काव लेकर, और देह को शुद्ध जल से धुलवाकर परमेश्वर के समीप जाएँ।
23 let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering; for he who promised is faithful.
२३और अपनी आशा के अंगीकार को दृढ़ता से थामे रहें; क्योंकि जिसने प्रतिज्ञा की है, वह विश्वासयोग्य है।
24 Let us consider how to motivate one another to love and good works,
२४और प्रेम, और भले कामों में उकसाने के लिये एक दूसरे की चिन्ता किया करें।
25 not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching.
२५और एक दूसरे के साथ इकट्ठा होना न छोड़ें, जैसे कि कितनों की रीति है, पर एक दूसरे को समझाते रहें; और ज्यों-ज्यों उस दिन को निकट आते देखो, त्यों-त्यों और भी अधिक यह किया करो।
26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more a sacrifice for sins,
२६क्योंकि सच्चाई की पहचान प्राप्त करने के बाद यदि हम जान बूझकर पाप करते रहें, तो पापों के लिये फिर कोई बलिदान बाकी नहीं।
27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and a fierceness of fire which will devour the adversaries.
२७हाँ, दण्ड की एक भयानक उम्मीद और आग का ज्वलन बाकी है जो विरोधियों को भस्म कर देगा।
28 Anyone who disregards the Law of Moses dies without compassion on the word of two or three witnesses.
२८जबकि मूसा की व्यवस्था का न माननेवाला दो या तीन जनों की गवाही पर, बिना दया के मार डाला जाता है।
29 How much worse punishment, do you think, will he be judged worthy of, who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant with which he was sanctified an unholy thing, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?
२९तो सोच लो कि वह कितने और भी भारी दण्ड के योग्य ठहरेगा, जिसने परमेश्वर के पुत्र को पाँवों से रौंदा, और वाचा के लहू को जिसके द्वारा वह पवित्र ठहराया गया था, अपवित्र जाना हैं, और अनुग्रह की आत्मा का अपमान किया।
30 For we know him who said, "Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay." Again, "The Lord will judge his people."
३०क्योंकि हम उसे जानते हैं, जिसने कहा, “पलटा लेना मेरा काम है, मैं ही बदला दूँगा।” और फिर यह, कि “प्रभु अपने लोगों का न्याय करेगा।”
31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
३१जीविते परमेश्वर के हाथों में पड़ना भयानक बात है।
32 But remember the former days, in which, after you were enlightened, you endured a great struggle with sufferings;
३२परन्तु उन पहले दिनों को स्मरण करो, जिनमें तुम ज्योति पाकर दुःखों के बड़े संघर्ष में स्थिर रहे।
33 partly, being exposed to insults and abuse in public, and sometimes you came to share with others who were treated in the same way.
३३कुछ तो यह, कि तुम निन्दा, और क्लेश सहते हुए तमाशा बने, और कुछ यह, कि तुम उनके सहभागी हुए जिनकी दुर्दशा की जाती थी।
34 For you both had compassion on them that were in chains, and joyfully accepted the plundering of your possessions, since you knew that you yourselves had a better possession and an enduring one.
३४क्योंकि तुम कैदियों के दुःख में भी दुःखी हुए, और अपनी सम्पत्ति भी आनन्द से लुटने दी; यह जानकर, कि तुम्हारे पास एक और भी उत्तम और सर्वदा ठहरनेवाली सम्पत्ति है।
35 Therefore do not throw away your boldness, which has a great reward.
३५इसलिए, अपना साहस न छोड़ो क्योंकि उसका प्रतिफल बड़ा है।
36 For you need patient endurance so that, having done the will of God, you may receive the promise.
३६क्योंकि तुम्हें धीरज रखना अवश्य है, ताकि परमेश्वर की इच्छा को पूरी करके तुम प्रतिज्ञा का फल पाओ।
37 "For in just a little while, he who is coming will come and will not delay.
३७“क्योंकि अब बहुत ही थोड़ा समय रह गया है जबकि आनेवाला आएगा, और देर न करेगा।
38 But the righteous will live by faith, and if he holds back, my soul has no pleasure in him."
३८और मेरा धर्मी जन विश्वास से जीवित रहेगा, और यदि वह पीछे हट जाए तो मेरा मन उससे प्रसन्न न होगा।”
39 But we are not of those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith to the saving of the soul.
३९पर हम हटनेवाले नहीं, कि नाश हो जाएँ पर विश्वास करनेवाले हैं, कि प्राणों को बचाएँ।
