Genesis 5
1 This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created humankind, he made him in God's likeness.
Dies ist das Buch der Zeugungen Adams, am Tage, da Gott den Menschen schuf. In die Ähnlichkeit Gottes machte Er ihn.
2 He created them male and female, and blessed them, and called their name "humankind" on the day when they were created.
Männlich und weiblich schuf Er sie, und Er segnete sie und nannte ihren Namen Mensch, am Tage da sie geschaffen wurden.
3 Adam lived two hundred and thirty years, and became the father of a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth.
Und der Mensch lebte hundertdreißig Jahre, und er zeugte in seine Ähnlichkeit nach seinem Bilde, und nannte seinen Namen Scheth.
4 The days of Adam after he became the father of Seth were seven hundred years, and he became the father of sons and daughters.
Und der Tage des Menschen nachdem er Scheth gezeugt, waren achthundert Jahre, und er zeugte Söhne und Töchter.
5 All the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years, then he died.
Und es waren all die Tage des Menschen, die er lebte, neunhundert Jahre und dreißig Jahre und er starb.
6 Seth lived two hundred and five years, and became the father of Enosh.
Und Scheth lebte fünf Jahre und hundert Jahre, und er zeugte Enosch.
7 Seth lived after he became the father of Enosh seven hundred and seven years, and fathered sons and daughters.
Und Scheth lebte, nachdem er Enosch gezeugt, sieben Jahre und achthundert Jahre und zeugte Söhne und Töchter.
8 All the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years, then he died.
Und alle Tage Scheths waren zwölf Jahre und neunhundert Jahre, und er starb.
9 Enosh lived one hundred and ninety years, and became the father of Kenan.
Und Enosch lebte neunzig Jahre und zeugte Kenan.
10 Enosh lived after he became the father of Kenan, seven hundred and fifteen years, and fathered sons and daughters.
Und Enosch lebte, nachdem er Kenan gezeugt, fünfzehn Jahre und achthundert Jahre und er zeugte Söhne und Töchter.
11 All the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years, then he died.
Und alle Tage Enoschs waren fünf Jahre und neunhundert Jahre, und er starb.
12 Kenan lived one hundred and seventy years, and became the father of Mahalalel.
Und Kenan lebte siebzig Jahre und zeugte Mahalaleel.
13 Kenan lived after he became the father of Mahalalel seven hundred and forty years, and fathered sons and daughters
Und Kenan lebte, nachdem er Mahalaleel gezeugt, vierzig Jahre und achthundert Jahre und er zeugte Söhne und Töchter.
14 and all the days of Kenan were nine hundred and ten years, then he died.
Und alle Tage Kenans waren zehn Jahre und neunhundert Jahre; und er starb.
15 Mahalalel lived one hundred and sixty-five years, and became the father of Jared.
Und Mahalaleel lebte fünf Jahre und sechzig Jahre und zeugte Jared.
16 Mahalalel lived after he became the father of Jared seven hundred and thirty years, and fathered sons and daughters.
Und Mahalaleel lebte, nachdem er Jared gezeugt hatte, dreißig Jahre und achthundert Jahre und er zeugte Söhne und Töchter.
17 All the days of Mahalalel were eight hundred and ninety-five years, then he died.
Und alle Tage Mahalaleels waren fünfundneunzig Jahre und achthundert Jahre, und er starb.
18 Jared lived one hundred and sixty-two years, and became the father of Enoch.
Und Jared lebte zweiundsechzig Jahre und hundert Jahre und zeugte Chanoch.
19 Jared lived after he became the father of Enoch eight hundred years, and fathered sons and daughters.
Und Jared lebte, nachdem er Chanoch gezeugt, achthundert Jahre und er zeugte Söhne und Töchter.
20 All the days of Jared were nine hundred and sixty-two years, then he died.
Und alle Tage Jareds waren zweiundsechzig Jahre und neunhundert Jahre und er starb.
21 Enoch lived one hundred and sixty-five years, and became the father of Methuselah.
Und Chanoch lebte fünfundsechzig Jahre und zeugte Methuschelach.
22 Enoch walked with God after he became the father of Methuselah two hundred years, and fathered sons and daughters.
Und Chanoch erging sich mit Gott, nachdem er den Methuschelach gezeugt hatte, dreihundert Jahre und er zeugte Söhne und Töchter.
23 All the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years.
Und alle Tage Chanochs waren fünfundsechzig Jahre und dreihundert Jahre.
24 Enoch walked with God, and then he was not there, for God took him.
Und Chanoch erging sich mit Gott, und er war nicht; denn Gott hatte ihn hinweggenommen.
25 Methuselah lived one hundred and eighty-seven years, and became the father of Lamech.
Und Methuschelach lebte siebenundachtzig Jahre und hundert Jahre und zeugte Lamech.
26 Methuselah lived after he became the father of Lamech seven hundred and eighty-two years, and fathered sons and daughters.
Und Methuschelach lebte, nachdem er Lamech gezeugt, zweiundachtzig Jahre und siebenhundert Jahre, und zeugte Söhne und Töchter.
27 All the days of Methuselah were nine hundred and sixty-nine years, then he died.
Und alle Tage Methuschelachs waren neunundsechzig Jahre und neunhundert Jahre und er starb.
28 Lamech lived one hundred and eighty-two years, and became the father of a son,
Und Lamech lebte zweiundachtzig Jahre und hundert Jahre und zeugte einen Sohn.
29 and he named him Noah, saying, "This one will comfort us in our labor and in the hard work of our hands, because of the ground which God has cursed."
Und er nannte seinen Namen Noach, sagend: der wird uns trösten ob unserem Tun und ob den Schmerzen unserer Hände vom Boden, den Jehovah verflucht hat.
30 Lamech lived after he became the father of Noah five hundred and ninety-five years, and fathered sons and daughters.
Und Lamech lebte, nachdem er Noach gezeugt hatte, fünfundneunzig Jahre und fünfhundert Jahre, und er zeugte Söhne und Töchter.
31 All the days of Lamech were seven hundred and seventy-seven years, then he died.
Und es waren alle Tage Lamechs siebenundsiebzig Jahre und siebenhundert Jahre, und er starb.
32 Noah was five hundred years old, and Noah became the father of Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
Und Noach war fünfhundert Jahre alt, und Noach zeugte Schem, Cham und Japheth.
