< Galatians 3 >

1 Foolish Galatians, who has cunningly deceived you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was openly set forth as crucified?
Ndị nzuzu a kpọrọ onwe ha ndị Galeshịa! Onye napụrụ unu akọnuche unu? Nʼihu unu ka a nọ kọwaa nʼụzọ doro anya mkpọgide nʼobe a kpọgidere Jisọs Kraịst.
2 I just want to learn this from you. Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith?
Ọ bụ naanị otu ihe ka m chọrọ ịmata nʼaka unu. Unu natara Mmụọ Nsọ site nʼịrụ ọrụ iwu chọrọ, ka ọ bụ site na nkuzi nke okwukwe?
3 Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now completed in the flesh?
Ọ ga-abụ na unu aghọọla ndị na-enweghị uche? Unu malitere site nʼike Mmụọ Nsọ, ma ugbu a unu na-akwụsịzi nʼike nke anụ ahụ?
4 Did you suffer so many things in vain, if it is indeed in vain?
Unu tara ọtụtụ ahụhụ dị otu a nʼefu, ọ bụrụ nʼezie na ọ bụ nʼefu?
5 He therefore who supplies the Spirit to you, and works miracles among you, does he do it by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith?
Mmụọ nsọ ahụ Chineke nyere unu na ọrụ ebube ọ rụrụ nʼetiti unu, o mere ha nʼihi iwu unu debere, ka ọ bụ nʼihi na unu nụrụ ma kwerekwa oziọma?
6 Even as Abraham "believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness."
Nʼotu ụzọ ahụ, Ebraham kweere na Chineke, a gụrụ nke a nye ya dị ka ezi omume.
7 Know therefore that those who are of faith, the same are sons of Abraham.
Matanụ nke a, na ọ bụ ndị nwere okwukwe bụ ụmụ Ebraham.
8 The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the non-Jews by faith, preached the Good News beforehand to Abraham, saying, "Through you all the nations will be blessed."
Dị ka ọ dị nʼAkwụkwọ nsọ, nʼoge ahụ dị nʼihu, nke bụ ugbu a, Chineke ga-agụ ndị mba ọzọ dị ka ndị ezi omume, site nʼokwukwe ha nwere nʼime ya. Nʼihi nke a, o buru ụzọ zie Ebraham oziọma ahụ nʼoge gara aga sị, “A ga-agọzikwa agbụrụ niile nọ nʼụwa site na gị.”
9 So then, those who are of faith are blessed with the faithful Abraham.
Ya mere, ndị dabeere nʼokwukwe bụkwa ndị na-eso Ebraham, nwoke okwukwe ahụ eketa ngọzị.
10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under a curse. For it is written, "Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things that are written in the book of the law, to do them."
Ma ndị niile na-ele anya na a ga-azọpụta ha nʼihi na ha debere iwu niile, ka ọbụbụ ọnụ na-adakwasị. Nʼihi na e deela ya nʼakwụkwọ nsọ sị, “Onye a bụrụ ọnụ ka ọ bụ, bụ onye ọbụla na-edebeghị ọ bụladị otu nʼime iwu niile e dere nʼakwụkwọ iwu.”
11 Now it is evident that no one is justified by the law before God, for, "The righteous will live by faith."
Ugbu a, ọ bụ ihe pụtara ìhè na ọ dịghị onye ọbụla a na-agụ nʼonye ezi omume nʼihu Chineke, nʼihi na o debere iwu. Nʼihi na, “Onye ezi omume ga-esite nʼokwukwe dị ndụ.”
12 The law is not of faith, but, "The one who does them will live by them."
Ma iwu ahụ adabereghị nʼokwukwe, kama, iwu kwuru sị, “Mmadụ ahụ na-eme ihe iwu kwuru bụ onye ga-enwe ndụ site na ha.”
13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,"
Ma Kraịst agbapụtala anyị site nʼọbụbụ ọnụ ahụ nke idebe iwu gaara ewetara anyị. Ọ ghọrọ ọbụbụ ọnụ nʼihi anyị. Nʼihi na e deela ya nʼakwụkwọ nsọ, “Onye a bụrụ ọnụ ka onye ahụ bụ nke a kwụbara nʼelu osisi.”
14 that the blessing of Abraham might come on the non-Jews through Christ Jesus; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Ọ dị otu a ka ngọzị ahụ e nyere Ebraham bụrụkwa nke ndị mba ọzọ site na Kraịst Jisọs. Ka anyị niile site nʼokwukwe nata nkwa ahụ, bụ Mmụọ Nsọ.
15 Brothers, I am speaking in human terms. Though it is only a human covenant, once it has been ratified, no one annuls it or adds to it.
Ụmụnna m, ka m were ihe nlere anya site na ndụ a na-adị kwa ụbọchị kọwaa okwu a: Dị ka mmadụ na-enweghị ike iwepụ maọbụ ịtụkwasị ihe nʼọgbụgba ndụ e mere ka o guzosie ike, otu a ka ọ dịkwa nʼọnọdụ a.
16 Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his offspring. He does not say, "And to offsprings," as of many, but as of one, "And to your offspring," which is Christ.
17 Now I say this: the law, which came four hundred thirty years later, does not annul a covenant previously ratified by God, so as to cancel the promise.
Ihe m na-akọwa bụ nke a: Iwu ahụ e mere ka ọ malite ịdị narị afọ anọ na iri atọ site na mgbe e kwere nkwa ahụ, emeghị ka ọgbụgba ndụ ahụ Chineke mere ka ọ dịrị hapụ iguzokwa, o mekwaghị ka nkwa ahụ bụrụ ihe e wezugara ewezuga.
18 For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no more of promise; but God has granted it to Abraham by promise.
19 What then is the law? It was added because of transgressions, until the offspring should come to whom the promise has been made. It was ordained through angels by the hand of a mediator.
Gịnị mere e ji nye iwu? E nyere iwu ndị a nʼihi njehie, mee ka iwu ndị a dịgide tutu ruo mgbe mkpụrụ ahụ bịara, bụ onye e kwere na nkwa. E sitere nʼaka onye ogbugbo mee ka ndị mmụọ ozi mee ka iwu ahụ dị ire.
20 Now a mediator is not between one, but God is one.
Onye ogbugbo gosiri ihe karịrị otu onye, ma Chineke bụ otu.
21 Is the law then against the promises of God? Certainly not. For if there had been a law given which could give life, most certainly righteousness would have been of the law.
Iwu ahụ ọ na-emegide nkwa nke Chineke? Mba. Nʼezie ọ dịghị. Nʼihi na a sị na e nwere iwu dị nke pụrụ inye mmadụ ndụ, mgbe ahụ, ezi omume gaara abịara mmadụ site nʼiwu.
22 But the Scriptures imprisoned all things under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
Ma akwụkwọ nsọ mechibidoro ihe niile nʼokpuru mmehie ka e nwee ike nye ndị kwere ekwe nkwa ahụ e kwere ha site nʼokwukwe nʼime Jisọs Kraịst.
23 But before faith came, we were kept in custody under the law, confined for the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
Ma tupu okwukwe abịa, e ji iwu na-eche anyị nche. Iwu nọ ọnọdụ dị ka ụlọ mkpọrọ ebe e tinyere anyị tutu ruo mgbe a ga-eme ka okwukwe pụta ìhè.
24 So that the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
Ya mere, iwu bụ onye nlekọta anyị, ruo mgbe Kraịst bịara, ka a gụọ anyị na ndị ezi omume site nʼokwukwe.
25 But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.
Ma ebe ọ bụ na okwukwe abịala, anyị anọkwaghị nʼokpuru onye nlekọta ọzọ.
26 For you are all sons of God, through faith in Christ Jesus.
Unu niile bụ ụmụ Chineke site nʼokwukwe nʼime Kraịst Jisọs.
27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Nʼihi na ka unu niile ha, bụ ndị e mere baptizim nʼime Kraịst, abụrụla ndị yikwasịrị onwe ha Kraịst.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
E nwekwaghị onye Juu, maọbụ onye Griik, maọbụ ohu maọbụ onye nwe onwe ya; nwoke maọbụ nwanyị, nʼihi na unu niile bụ otu nʼime Kraịst Jisọs.
29 If you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's offspring and heirs according to promise.
Ọ bụrụ na unu bụ ndị nke Kraịst, mgbe ahụ unu bụkwa mkpụrụ Ebraham, ndị nketa dị ka nkwa ahụ si dị.
